Very impressive museum! ✨ Inside is like a small town to show how was the life for workers in old times, it suddenly drive you to that moment when you enter ❤ And of course here you can find lots of old textile machines, and the machine will be turned on every half of hour if you want to see how exactly it is working 🧵Moreover, you will have a chance to feel the old fashion of clothes👗 Last but not least, if you would like to see every corner of the museum, be prepared for a 2 hour visiting.

Great museum and very helpful staff! The main building is disabled visitor friendly too (elevators, wide corridors, nice audio-guide with great audio-descriptions for blind and low-vision users)! Not sure about the wheelchair accessibility of the courtyard (cobblestone) and huts (thresholds), you should probably ask the staff at the ticket office. You can choose how many exhibitions you see depending on the time you have for your visit. Will definitely come back!

Impressive museum! From outside you don't expect much, then inside is a huge surprise.
You have traditional homes to visit and see how life was in different periods of Polish history, amazing.
The textile factory museum also very interesting to understand how it has evolved and influenced the life of the city.
Congratulations to Łódz on this amazing place.

A must for history and art nerds!! Beautiful museum about the history of textile business in Łódź and the ins and outs of fabric manufacturing processes. Sadly we missed the spectacular temporary exhibition highlighting the work of leading fibre art artist Magdalena Abakanowicz.

Well designed and presented the industrial history of Łodź - its humble beginnings, the golden days and eventual decline. You can learn about variety of different elements that combined together can, to some extent at least, explain the reality of today's Łódź - the history, politics, sociology, technology, and more. You can visit the actual old factory building that focuses on the machinery used in the textile industry, and there also are old houses moved from various parts of the city. These houses serve as unique time capsules, each offering a glimpse into daily life of people living in defining periods of the city's history.

Very interesting! I've learned more about Lodz than in last 7 years I've been visiting it. Lots of history and exhibitions of how people lived back in time. Lots of textile-making machines and textiles to see, even in action. Highly recommend!

At the rear of the museum, there is the Łódź Municipal Cultural Park with typical 19th-century construction with weavers' houses, a wooden church moved from Nowosolna St. and a summer villa in the suburbs.

Really good. I especially like the fact that the steam engine smells like burnt coal, the feature makes it realistic. Also the temporary exhibition on Moda Polska was impressive, very nice installation. I would like to return during summer.
