Upper Silesian Ethnographic Park

This is a fabulous museum. We were staying in Katowice and wanted something to visit. We ended up spending 4 hours in the park with a stop in the little inn for a drink and snack. There isn't a lot in the way of information about the buildings and certainly nothing in English, but we didn't feel that we missed out because of this.

The wooden houses and barns are beautiful, especially the church and the park itself is lovely. There are lots of places to sit and picnic with shade or shelter from rain and the little inn is cute and very reasonably priced.

Really nice museum. The museum park is divided into different regions. You can also go inside most houses. There are inscriptions and explanations for most of the exhibits Also they have souvenirs near entrance

A truly amazing park with a lot of sheds, houses and nature. It's in the city of Chorzow but it's so quiet, you can place yourself back in to time and live the Silesian life of the past. Recommend for sure!

Great park to get to know the old way of life

Great place to spend a family day out in the open air. Lots of walking. The food in the cafe is very nice.

Interesting place for kids and adults bringing back past in interactive way with chance to purchase wooden sculpture from artist base in here.

A lot of different houses are arranged in the park. They did a great job in displaying the daily life in the different time periods.
English translated displays would help a lot though.

Is a really nice place to walk around and see old house from the 1800s or even older, very traditional and cultural experience for those interested. It is a long walk but rewarding in the experience.

Amazing insight into the olden times, well worth visiting especially if there are events on!
