Visited during Starcraft 2 championship. I missed signing season with top players since restaurant had only limited reservations but it was worth it.

Ii was probably one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had. Decided to order classic: zur was incredible, I usually like it with lot of pepper but they serve it quite delicate, when you can feel every taste, all different meats. It was excellent, smokiness of sausage was perfect and white sausage was so good.

Roulade is another classic and again it didn't disappoint. Tender meat, traditional potato dumpling were to kill for and melted in my mouth. You can get seconds for free too! Even sauerkraut was on another level: sweet, like never tasted before, fresh and warm.

Dessert was great too, drinks were good but could have been a bit better, not complaining at all. Service was perfect, sorry I don't know name of my servant but she has provided the best, wasn't very talkative which I like but helped me with some of my choices when I asked her to.

Menu card is cool too: you might wait few minutes for your food to arrive and it's nice distraction and provides some interesting info about region. Or you can check your phone, up to you.

They have massive choice of wines, not really my things, would prefer more crafts beers to be honest, but hey, can't have everything.

This is a must visit establishment in Katowice, not the cheapest, but what's cheap in those crazy times.

It is based in Nikiszowiec neighbourhood which is fascinating and I would recommend having a stroll after your meal. And then come back for round two.

Very clean place, nice toilets, noticed they even do tours and showing entire building.

Where to start, this place is amazing, unfortunately we arrived very late about 50-60min before closing time so I couldn't order a steak anymore. But I will definitely make up for it, because this place simply has charm.

The service was very friendly, we had the choice between an English and Polish menu, and the wine and drink list was very extensive.

I had tartar as a starter, it was simply delicious, I can only recommend it.

For the main course I had pierogi, which was also good, but I would have preferred the steak.

The desserts we had were both very tasty.

I especially liked the atmosphere in this restaurant, so much love was put into the details, which you could see no matter where you looked.

I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who values a good overall package!

I will definitely go there again!

We didn’t have reservation but nevertheless a team member found a solution for us and a table to stay! It’s an amazing cozy atmosphere, well trained, smiley and polite service, high quality food as also they have a big variety of drinks especially in wines! Highly recommend!

Awesome place to try local cuisines - everything we tried was super delicious and beautifully presented. Service was top notch, especially mr Lukasz made our dinner absolutely memorable.

Probably the best restaurant in Katowice. Situated far outside the city center on Nikiszowiec. It is beautifully decorated, with large loose space. We have tried different dishes and all of them were amazing! From starters, main coarse, finishing with dessert- everything was delicious. Restaurant staff was discreet and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Hired the Ojciec Chrzestny room for private function, which was my 40th birthday party with friends and family. The place was great, the decor was outstanding and the room was private enough to feel like we were the only party there - which was far from the truth. We had a dedicated customer service team and the person was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks, providing additional information about the seasonal produce used in preparing the meals. Loved every minute of it, the food was delicious and exceeding expectations. Definitely got what we paid for, 5 star service.

Great food, great service, quite extensive wine cart with also pairing suggestions with food. Had traditional food and loved it. The zur soup was amazing, explosion of flavors. Smelled so good forgot to take a photo and dove right in. Staff is very friendly and professional. Wine pairings were perfect. A bit pricey on the wines but was worth it. Definitely recommend visiting.

We spent one day in Katowice and found this restaurant just walking past it. Our 11-year old son wasn’t sure if he would find something but was very happy with the choices of the kids menu. The food was outstanding, you can have traditional Silesian food or something else. Excellent service by waiter Mateusz. Desserts out of this world. Definitely come here when visiting Katowice.

We visited this amazing restaurant on Saturday May 14, 2022. The atmosphere was absolutely enchanting and the traditional polish food was out of this world. We were simply amazed. The service was also of the highest quality. We even had the occasion to see the famous polish actress named Anna Mucha in the restaurant, who unfortunately was too self-involved to agree to take a photo with two (approximately) 8-10 years old girls who nervously walked over to ask her for such a small favor. The afternoon at the restaurant was, nonetheless, a great success, and a great ending after an already amazing day. After that, we all went back to the hotel with big smiles on our faces.

Very good food. Very attentive quick service. A lot of space. Nice place.

We have dined in this restaurant because of his reputation and i have to say it was a great choice and everything was at the highest level.
Starting with the service continuing with the atmosphere and live music and of course ending with the food. What to choose from the menu it's up to you but looking around to other tables everything looked very delicious

A stunning restaurant with tasty food, beautiful interior, and gardens, and great staff! Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Although I am German, I am writing this review in English so that as many people as possible will read it. In short: the quality of the meat is extraordinary, almost grotesquely good and not overly expensive. I have star chefs in my circle of friends, so I'm used to very good quality, and I don't mean that in an arrogant way. But I have never tasted a rib eye like this in my life (!). It was absolutely unique. Attentive service, great food, good wine selection, everything top. I will definitely go there again. Unfortunately, I am only in Katowice twice a year for business.

The food was delicious, and beautiful. English friendly. Our wine server Lukasz was so friendly and knowledgable, very fun and interesting service. Thank you.

Delicious traditional food served in the modern way without pretentious manner, classy and warm interiors. Outside seating dogs friendly. All situated in old miners family's Nikiszowiec district.

Great place and high quality local food served by friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere in spacious surroundings of this restaurant, taking care of not only adults but also having a spot for kids to keep them occupied. Not witnessed myself but live music also being part of this great establishment. Certainly coming back!
