Der Elefant

One of my favorite places. The food is always delicious. My personal favorites are artichokes with truffle oil and ceviche. I always recommend this restaurant to someone who wants to have nice and tasty dinner.

🐟🎉 Absolutely satisfying variety of fish! The fish here was super fresh - talk about a taste of the sea in Poland. 🌊 However, the seafood selection like calamari, shrimp, and lobster, though good, didn't quite meet my expectations in terms of portion size and flavor. 🦑🦐 A bit of a letdown there, but still, if you're in Poland and craving some fresh and tasty fish, this is a charming spot to reel in a great meal! 🐠

It looks like a fish market but inside you find a very nice restaurant with good food and nice piano bar. Beautiful design as well in an industrial style. I have eaten excellent beef and perfect pavlova sweet. Like it!

Surprised to eat so fresh and tasty fish and oysters in Warsaw. Great atmosphere and service. Not expensive for this quality

An excellent restaurant. We've gone there many times, both for lunch and dinner. They raised the prices, but we still like going because of the good food and service.

The food is delicious. The oysters are fresh, rinsed. Quality and fresh Tar-tar, tasty onion soup. The dessert is lovely. Good service.
Prices are in line with the high quality.

My husband was served the main course first, then they brought the hot soup 10 minutes later. Then the service came over and started apologizing (although we didn't say anything and didn't complain) that they mixed up the hot and cold dishes. As a compliment of the restaurant they brought us 4 free desserts.

Great restaurant with great atmosphere. We had fillet steak both times we visited and they were delicious. The trio of desserts was also very good. They have live jazz at 7pm on Friday nights which makes the atmosphere awesome.

Very fresh, simple ingredients in our meal, the catch of the day. Delicious seasonings on the salads and fish.

I’ve been here already twice and it’s a wonderful place to have a beautiful delicious dinner. Perfect service, excellent meals and great drinks – what else you can wish for? Inside the restaurant is elegant and clean. The dishes are quite big, so you won’t feel hungry at all if you order starter+main dish. Definitely coming soon again. Ps. excellent place for dates and business meetings. ;)

My absolute favorite seafood spot. I have been coming here since I first moved to the city years ago, and I haven't stopped ever since. I highly recommend it!
Although, I wish the attendants could be more responsive in getting people seated when seats become available, especially now that the place has become very popular. We were all left standing for a good fifteen minutes plus while there were four available tables, which is not good imo. I overlooked that, considering I haven't had a single hiccup over the years. Nevertheless, I sincerely do hope they will improve on that moving forward.

Honestly the best restaurant in Warszawa. Everything tasted excellent and the service was always taking care and trying to make everything perfect. Everything on the menu is recommendable!

Well, this was a great taste experience! We were 6 people. All of us were happy at the end. New-York steak, oven roasted duck, Der elefant burger, hummus, cocktails - everything was perfect and well-prepared. Plus, there was live music, that was a cherry on the top :)
Service was a bit slow, but understandable as the restaurant was full.
Interior is warm and comfortable.
Will be back definitely!

One of the finest dining experiences I've ever had. Every ingredient was clearly fresh, sourced with purpose, and chosen with intent, leading to interesting twists and richness of flavour in even the simplest condiments, literally every mouthful was a delight.

Perfect place! very stylish, pleasant service, large menu and reasonable prices. We celebrated the holiday with a large group, it was very cool, we all liked it!

Perfect restaurant for night out!
This place really surprised me with it’s size - lot of room for big gatherings as well as date for two. Despite the size, they have managed to keep it really intimate and cozy.
The life music really upgraded the whole experience and of course the food was delicious.

The food may be a little bit pricy - main dishes start from around 50 PLN, but I would say it is worth it. We have tried baked fish and steak and it was very tasty.

The staff in the restaurant was externally nice and helpful.

I guess this is a local staple based on the amount of input I have gotten from locals. Went there on a sunny Saturday afternoom and was really happy with my choice. Great atmosphere...a French bistro feeling.

Hubert's service was really professional and with a smile. Food was really good and altough I sat in the Fishmarket area I went for the Classic Burger and it was off the charts. Next time I will definitely go for the fish as they have a very big selection of fresh catch of the day options....
