Zapora Jeziora Goczałkowickiego

I must admit that I was very much impressed by this water dam.
It’s way bigger than I initially thought and nearly 3km long with a water surface of up to 31 km2.
In close proximity, there are a few parking places and a possibility to rent bikes via an app.

Very nice place to go for a walk or ride the bike, but be aware, even in summer it’s relatively windy and hence way colder than you might think, so make sure to take your wind-proof jacket along.

It's a peaceful place. Nice location to spend time with family or friends. And there's a local vendor who sells original honey 🍯 and limited vegetables from he's garden. Please do support. Finally this place is 💯 percent worth to visit. I recommend it. Have a nice weekend with your family and friends.

Beautiful spot to cool down during the polish summer with a nice breeze off the reservoir.

Hopefully get to do the cycle around the lake another time .

Great place for evening jogging when the sun is going down, amazing view for sunset! There is a free car park.

This was fantastic, clean skies, blue waters and cool breeze - all you need during a hot day;) Mountain views were a bonus!

This is the spot where the dam is and the start of the lower Wisla valley. Here you can cycle traffic free along the towpath towards the forest or cycle the opposite direction towards Pszczyna. A little further the path joins a road ahead, that is not too heavy with traffic.

Good place to ride a bike through. Great views and fresh air.

If you want to skate, take a bike or run pick this place but not over weekend it can be over crowded

Home turf. Always worth a visit apart from weekends, when overcrowded.
