Polonia Warsaw Stadium

Came here for the game of Polonia Warsaw V Unia Skierniewice which the home team won 2-0.

An hour early, got my ticket, which as a foreigner I need to bring some photo ID to get in, nice and quick into the ground and immediately shepherded in to a VIP lounge. Great, and nice beers at the ready,.
Met two young lads from Amsterdam, and so the craic was flowing.

Game started, very decent crowd in for what was a lower league game, good noise created by the home supporters too...…..
Game was good if not a little pedestrian.....but home team completely in control.

After the game hung out with a lot of home fans who were very hospitable, and shared with me some of their vodka.
Ended up in the supporters bar in the ground...…

All great fun, and the Polonia Warsaw fans made the occasion an unforgettable day out. Good atmosphere, football and beer, and the craic at the ninety, I hope some day I can return.
(I lost my camera that night too, god dammit, and with it all my pics of the day - but its long in the memory so that will have to do!)

Very good atmosphere and football

Nice sports complex, includes full size grass arena with covered spectator stands and lights, but also a secondary synthetic pitch. It also has meeting rooms, lockers and a bar.

Interesting stadium that has it's own character, especially the main entrance. In fact the ground could do with it being redeveloped and retaining it's key features. Didn't see a game, but managed to get inside for a look.

Best Stadium from the outside to in. Was the old market where you could get cheap Nike Max. Now it's the most elegant stadium in Europe. Other good stadiums are Ben FICA in Portugal and Mercedes Benz arena Warszawa Strauss Berlin. But the Polish national arena and the Washington round about so cool.. So cool the beach on the river there too.

Outdoor pitch is great. Nice location. You are close to fountains, you can have 11vs11 match and go grab a beer next to the river.

Cool stadium and very popular, there people's will be happy to see you! Theta are also very good swimming pool for everyone!!! Hope you will visit this stadium.

Great place - true historic place with a fantastic history. Great fan pub with a great selection of beers and most probably the best sausage in town
