Praia de Vila Praia de Âncora

This is a really easily accessible beach with a stream running through it. Crossing the bridge at the tourism office brings you to the dog friendly beach. Don’t forget your doggy poo bag!! The people beach is clean and litter free and there are dustbins available. There is a number of small cafes and restaurants dotted along the promenade and little colourful cabanas for changing can be rented. It does get a bit windy in the afternoons so get there early and spend the afternoon inside watching the world go by...

Very nice and family-friendly beach. Protected by the harbor walls, great for kids because of the river, public bathrooms, showers, lifeguard, surf schools, dunes, many cafés and restaurants, shops etc.. .... Also a great place to watch the sunset.

Very nice beach! It is big with sand and close to it bars and small restaurants. It is equipped of showers.

Great beach. Great small and quiet city. Near Viana do Castelo and near Spain. 70kms from Porto airport and 80kms from Porto. Great place to live. Great place for holidays.

Excellent place , nice village with a promenade …. I especially recommend the visit to the Duna do Caldeirao beach .

Its a nice and clean beach. There is a life guard during summer. Its quite big and never to much crowdy.
