Wonderful museum. Average visit duration is about one hour, the place is bigger than I expected. Covers a lot of land, marine and air species. Suitable for kids.

Loved the real species on display in jars, hundreds of them, big and small.

Price is very affordable and great for what you get in return. During weekdays there is no queue, very few people inside

I would like to express my gratitude to your employee, the administrator. We visited the museum today 05.06 and everyone was kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed your visit, the child was delighted with all the exhibits. These emotions will stay with us forever.

A lovely museum. The staff were probably the friendliest people we met in Bucharest (although everyone was nice :)). The man on the desk was very kind and welcoming.

Lovely natural museum if you enjoy nature and want to learn about the fauna in Romania. The museum is a bit old and dusty so that’s why I encourage you to visit it and help them to renovate it in the future. They have a beautiful collection in an humble scenography. The master piece is the prehistoric elephant skeleton one of the unique fossile discover entirely intact.

A very cool and interesting museum. All figures of animals, birds and marine inhabitants are made in such detail, it is incredible. I highly recommend a visit, not only children will be delighted, but also adults. Reviewing everything takes a lot of time, it took us about 2 hours, but it was worth it. Even if you go there again, it will still be very interesting.

It's the best museum I saw in my life. I visited this museum with family twice in a row during our Romania trip.
The man working at the ticket area is the kindest person I ever met. He took care of us and the other visitors very well. I want to thank to this museum management for hiring dear people like this.

The most interesting museum in Bucharest!

The line can be hours long on the weekends so be careful which day you choose to go. The ticket was very affordable and I would recommend to get the ticket with the entry to all of the different sections. It’s a big museum to go through and so interesting!

Great for kids and for adults as it’s beautiful to spend an hour or two learning facts about the beauty of nature.

The most complete & thoughtfull build museum in Romania! The prices are low (about 30 lei per adult person, for students & pupils the prices are even lower) and you have 3 different sections with to-scale models of animals & other fauna. Great experience!

The best natural history museum I have ever visited! It has many great interactive dioramas with natural life exhibits from all over the world, fossils and skeletons, a rock collection and even a small cave! It is well worth visiting every time when you're in Bucharest (I do it since I was a child). A wonderful learning experience for children of all ages - from 4 to 99!

Review for September 2022:
This is an experience worthwhile of your time! If you have kids, bring them & they will definitely love it!
There are also some additional exhibitions (additional tickets needed). The alive butterfly exhibition was super interesting and definitely won't be forgotten by our little onw. You could admire palm sized butterflies flying around you, with really nice colors. Never before did I witness anything like that.

Would definitely recommend it because:
- it depicts natural-size animal figures from Romania and all over the world.
- has Braille signs.
- has interactive tablets (monitors) detailing each animal (click & read)
- museum has three floors on which we can see very detailed dioramas.
Take your time and budget 1.5h inside as a "fast forward" approach. The more, the better.

Tickets may be bought online on their site there's the link, but also at their ticket sale area. Mid of the week, there was no waiting time.

Payment is possible by card or cash.
Parking around is available, (paid parking) but since it is exactly in the city center - expect limited availability.

Very friendly staff, not much to buy from the gift shop, remember to bring a bottle of water during summer time.
All in all a nice place to visit with the family. Spent around 2 hours.
Costs 5€ for the main exhibit.

In the museum, you move from one environment to another, you get to know different animals.. and also you move from the era of dinosaurs to the current times.. there is a section of precious stones within the section of geology .. and many, many more .. I personally enjoyed a lot .. but it is more suitable for children …

Very nice for all ages. Unlike similar museums in other countries there aren'tany screens - which is a very good thing in my opinion. The children read the explanation and take a closer look to what is exposed rather than to a screen. Big educational plus, please keep it like that.
Very rich and well made, themed so you can do it by theme if you lack time.
Kind and helpful staff, very affordable. For 2 adults and 2 children we payed about 10€.
There was also a temporary exhibition - on snakes and other deadly creatures - just marvelous.
All together I can only advise everyone to go if they have the time

One of the best museums in Romania. The price is minimum compared to what it has to offer. You can spend there min 2h. I really recommend visiting it.

I have already visited this museum in Bucharest several times with a child. And each time we see the exhibits from a new angle.

The first time is a child's delight! In subsequent times, we have already studied each hall in more detail. Here you can see the inhabitants of different parts of the Earth, seas and oceans - the exhibits are grouped thematically accordingly. They are presented in the form of stuffed animals and exhibits in flasks (this should be taken into account when visiting the museum). I noticed that many exhibits are over 200 years old! There are separate rooms with a large collection of insects, with minerals, an anatomical room and part of the history. There is something to show and tell children of different ages.

And of course, the skeletons of dinosaurs and other extinct large animals (see my photo) - this is what we visited this museum for the first time - a complete delight!

All inscriptions and comments there are in two languages - Romanian and English. This museum is definitely worth visiting! And keep in mind that on weekends there are many visitors.

Very impressive to discover about animals all over the world. Really worth to visit.
It would be better if they would add information in english to for people who can't read romanian.
