Zoo Brașov

I think this is the best zoo I visited in Romania. That isn't much, but it is something. The tickets are about 4 euros for adults and 2 euros for students. You can see bears, cats small and large, wild boars, wolves, deers, camels, and a few others. They have a small cake shop at the entry.

I'm not a fan of zoo's but besides that, the place and animals looked really well cared. It's very nice for kids to see some real life animals.

Perfect for a walk in the weekends with family and friends. Beautiful animals and well laid-out courtyard to walk through, taking advantage of elevation so you can see more of the animals. And the best thing is they are also expanding and adding more exhibits soon.

Best place to visit and one of the cleanest zoo i have ever visit. Loved the red panda but everything was great. Kee up the good work guys!!👏👏👏

We visited Zoo Brașov in January. It's not the best place to visit a zoo as many animals are inside :) however the place is very spacious and it's nice to spend a few hours here, especially with kids.
Besides, the winter view is beautiful!

As of summer/autumn of 2021, they were adding even more enclosures and spaces. In a year it will be an amazing visit!

Nice large zoo with lots of animals. You can also visit the Planetarium, but you need to get separate tickets. All the tickets can be purchased online, so you don't have to wait on the queue. The zoo is perfect for spending a nice day in the nature. There is a nearby parking, with plenty of spaces.

Nice place to visit with kids! Kids can see the wild animals, learn and have this experince of seeing their favorite animals so closely. Feel bad for the animals as they have to stay in a caged environment. I hope some day they will be free and enjoy their natural habitat. Fee/Ticket for adult is 20Ron and 10Ron for kids. It costs around 20-25Ron by taxi from the citi centre.

Pretty nice place where you can also strall around on the sides at the shade. Perfect for walks, yet having a habitat under construction at the moment was somewhat...disturbing. nevertheless l, if you avoid that, it s still pretty awesome

Nice zoo with a lot of interesting animals and the star of them all - the red panda. Staff were very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Great place, easy to reach and has friendly staff members. It has a lot of amazing animals that are well taken care of. You can also admire exotic species, like the red panda bear. I highly recommend you vidsiting it.

Not the biggest zoo but in recent years there has been significant investment which has brought it up to a very high standard. It is a brilliant safe place to bring you kids with some excellent exhibitions such as the big cats and the bears. In the centre of the zoo there is a small play park for the kids. Great value for money and nice way to spend half a day with the kids.

The zoo is so big, very clean, you can see the animals even if they are inside as their acommodations are with glass or you can go inside a tunnel. They have many animals and the animals are not inside small cages, each has a big ground trying to imitate their natural environment. It seems the staff is doing it's best to keep happy the animals. But of course most of the animals are very sad, I can't forget the look of white lion and what surprise me is that the animals are very fat, extremely fat. You can pay with the card and they have a big parking. There were a lot of kids visiting the zoo. You need a mask to enter and inside the Zoo.

one of the best Zoo Parks I've seen.It looks new and modern, they have plenty animals and they are well taken care of.Because it is located near the mountains it feels more like a walk in nature.I actually like this Zoo more than the London one.Check out the pictures :)

A small but wonderful zoo with many interesting animals sorounded by the mountains. There are lions, white lions, siberian tigers, white tigers, a jaguar, camels, bears and other wild animals. During summer hot days it is advisable to visit the zoo early in the morning as the animals retrieve inside to sleep inside their cooler cages.

Great place to visit at anytime,not only in the week-ends.
There is options to the website to pay the tichets online,and you have to scan the qr code on the laser mounted on the pillars,at entrance.No contact at all.Easy,fast.

Also,I never saw a white lion,a white deer,or a Steller sea eagle ( which is huge ).
The zoo is in construction, but that doesn't hurt at all visiting it.
The whole zoo is spectacular, I even counted for example, about 6 bears.

I'll definitely come back for the Planetarium and exotic fish, because they are in closed spaces, not visited because of Covid 19.

( I almost forgot: there is a lot of parking places about 30 metres away ).

Amazing animals. I think I have seen half of my family and friends here. We used to compare each other to the animals based on behaviour.

3rd time when I'm coming back. This Zoo is much better than the one in Bucharest. More animals much better view points. Now they are preparing a place for penguins, sea lions. Must check the bears, white lions, tigers and the red panda.
