Critz Cross

A superbly renovated place that has a real soul, Critz Cross is more than an accommodation; it's a feeling of time staying still, of clear night skies, of authenticity and calmness . rooms decorated to such a detail, very comfy mattress, fresh linens, high quality finishes, clean rooms, tasty breakfasts, free bikes. Possibly best accommodation in the area. Oana and Adi are not only welcoming and interesting hosts, but they are community builders of the area. Make sure you will go with open hearts. We had a hard time to leave the place, every day wanting to extend one day more.

Countryside bliss
We LOVED staying at this place. It is a little place of perfection. A place where you go to be spoiled by authentic and loving hospitality.
What we loved most?
1. Deeply relaxing: the adults only policy keeps things quiet and the guests seem to have an unspoken agreement about keeping the voice down and co-creating the silence. But there is not only silence, you can hear the abundance of birds chirping, the sound of the wind through the leaves, the bells of the cows moving through the hills in the evening.
2. Details: the little things that bring joy. From light switches, to romantic bathrooms, the towels basket, the espresso machine, there is a blend of esthetic and practical details that make this place different than others in the area and really makes it feel luxurious.
3. Breakfast: it is DELICIOUS! Everything is really home made, locally grown in the hosts garden or locally sourced. Did you think you can get a perfect omelette in a Saxon village? I didn’t, but it blew my mind. The breakfast feels and taste like food made with love and consideration.
It’s totally worth it. ❤

It's all about details.
We stayed during a weekend in July and received an experience to remember.
Excellent located at the cross roads of the bycicle paths to Cloasterf, Saschiz and Viscri.
We were impressed how well the historical houses had been restored and the attention to details for the interior design and as well for the common spaces.
The rooms are spacious, very good quality bed lining and mattrases and top quality bathroom amenities.
The back garden is invinting you to relax in the evenings, admiring the famous Transylvania's rolling hills, while enjoying a glass of wine.
Every morning we were surprised at breakfast with different delicacies prepared by Oana, famously known for the lunches and dinners she prepares in the village nearby at Mesendof 65.

Great hosts, great breakfast, find the comfort you need in a very quiet, green rural area.

Pensiunea e un loc in care traditionalul este imbinat cu modernul intr-un mod frumos. Ne-a placut in special camera, in care am fost surprinsi sa gasim o soba pe care am pus foarte entuziasmati seara lemne pe foc. Doamna Gina a fost gata sa ne ajute cu orice. Fiecare masa a fost deosebita, cu preparate traditionale din zona. Recomand in special branza maturata cu susan negru, o nebunie, mai ales servita alaturi de vin bun. Multumim pentru primirea deosebita!

Locul unde simți că ai venit în vizita la prietenii tăi buni, care îți gătesc bine și au mereu grija să te simți bine, dar fără a fi sentimentul ca o fac din obligație.

Camerele sunt curate, patul foarte confortabil, iar lenjeria de pat parca îți pare rău că nu o ai și acasă. Un loc despre simplitate, bun gust, atmosfera plăcută și liniște.

Locatie superba, mic dejun gustos. Nota 10 pentru doamna Gina care a avut grija sa nu ne lipseasca nimic.

O casa desavarsit renovata intr-o locatie superba. Camerele sunt spatioase, comfortabile si decorate cu mult bun gust si atentie la detalii. Am apreciat mai ales cafeaua buna de dimineata, si cartile lasate la indemana pe noptiera.
Vom reveni cu placere la Crit Cross sa ne relaxam si sa-i revedem pe deja prietenii Oana si Adi.

Pe Oana si Adi ii stim (si iubim :) ) de ceva vreme din Mesendorf unde au un Punct Gastronomic Local (musai sa ajungeti acolo). Critz Cross a aparut din dorinta lor de a gazdui oameni dragi in aceasta zona pe care ei o iubesc si o pretuiesc atat de mult. Este o casa traditionala care a fost reconditionata, modernizata doar cat sa ai cel mai bun confort insa sa nu isi piarda farmecul vechi. Toate detaliile ( baile romantice, lenjeriile brodate, sobele reconditionate) se imbina perfect cu twistul modern (espressorul de cafea) si cartile pe care le gasesti in fiecare camera. Curtea se continua cu o gradina care urca pana pe deal si nu lipseste sura atat de cunoscuta celor care stiu zona. Mic dejun doar cu produse traditionale, simple si gustoase.
Suntem recunoscatori sa va cunoastem si sa putem veni la voi! Multumim Oana si Adi!

Am petrecut un weekend prelungit la Critz Cross, un loc foarte linistit, se aud doar zogomtele naturii, o casa renovata cu mult bun gust si respect pentru traditie.
Espressor in camera si o pasarelã pe care savurezi cafeaua.
Mic dejun delicios, preparat din produse locale .

O locatie cu adevarat deosebita! Casele sasesti si sura au fost restaurate impecabil, iar curtea este o oaza de liniste. Cu siguranta mai venim! 😀

Locul are un vibe foarte special, peisajul este de vis. Camerele sunt o îmbinare perfecta între autentic și confort. Micul dejun simplu și bun. Ne a plăcut tare, tare. Mulțumim pentru găzduire!
