Petrovaradin Fortress, nicknamed "Gibraltar on/of the Danube" is a fortress in the town of Petrovaradin, itselfpart of the City of Novi Sad, Serbia. It is located on the right bank of the Danube river. The cornerstone of thepresent-day southern part of the fortress was laid on 18 October 1692 by Charles Eugène de Croÿ.Petrovaradin Fortress has many underground tunnels as well as 16 km of uncollapsed undergroundcountermine system.

Cool place to chill and drink a beer or something during summer, or winter if you can take the cold. Popular place where groups hang out during warmer days of the year. Close to the downtown and great view of Danube and the fortress!

Great view on the fortress, very nice for taking walk or jogging. Also good for riding a bicycle or roller skating. A few restaurants and caffees across the street. A market is across the street as well. Near to center of the city. At night it is very popular for young crowd to hang out and have fun. Toilets are available as well.

Lovely place for walking and jogging. It stretches for about 5 kilometers so there's plenty of space to go about. It has a bicycle track as well as a runners track for most of its length.
The bicycle track is part of the EuroVelo bicycle tracks that goes through Europe.
It's situated along the Danube river.

Lepo mesto za šetnju i trčanje. Dugačak je otprilike 5 kilometara. Ima stazu za bicikliste i stazu za trčanje.
Staza za bicikliste je deo evropske staze EuroVelo.
Nalazi se uz reku Dunav.

Nice place on Danube coast in Novi Sad. When the weather is nice, at evening there is a loth of young people..music .. I like to be there when ever I can..I m not so young, but, energy and good feeling is beautifull.

Great place for chill in the morning and night. Knows to be little bit windy but still has its charm. Also good for fitness, running and sports like basketball and tennis.

Cool view, must visit place for tourists, easy walking to castle. But sometimes you can find some strange smell due the the sewer drain(

The best: the view of the Danube and the big statues on memorial of all the dead people.

Just love it, coffee and stuff. And they make great serbian coffee and what is even better You may buy freshly roasted coffee and prepere it at home. Place itself is normal and relaxing and although it is not opened for long it already has stady costumers.

ENG: Excellent place for a walk in the evenings. There isn't a ton of other content here, but that's ok. We like it that way.
SRB: Odlicno mesto za vecernju setnju. Nema mnogo drugog sadrzaja na keju, ali to je ok. Tako nam se svidja.
