Joca Krofna 2006

We (4 Australians) had a great meal at this restaurant. We ate their stuffed hamburger, chicken fillets, fish tasting plate and it was all delicious. The staff were really friendly and able to help us with our ordering. The menu had English on it too which was so helpful.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and we really enjoyed our night. Would definitely recommend.

We had an excellent meal. The local carafe wine, the smoked cheese starter and the beautiful smoked trout fillet were all delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great restaurant!

Excellent service, amazing food, we were too late for breakfast but we were offered similar things with salad cheese and grilled meat and totally satisfied with taste and quality ❤

For the past two weeks I have travelled around Serbia looking for a great place to eat fish. I had some good food but this place was the best by far. There was a certain pride in the way the food was made which was reflected in the quality and taste. We had the seafood platter for starter and the fish platter for our main dish. Best seafood on the Danube!

Tonight is our second time dining here. Incredible views of the water, amazing service and the food was incredible. My favourites were the riblji namaz and paprka u pavlaci, as pictured!

Now, I must say we haven't had anything at his place, because we arrived at their opening hours on a rainy Sunday. The kitchen staff wasn't in yet but the owner was there and although he could make us breakfast, he offered us coffee. We were in a rush, so we left, but based on his hospitality, I'd say this place is good. :) If I'm ever back on this road, I'll definitely plan a stop at Joca's place.

The best restaurant in Serbia, what is there in Serbia in all the Balkans!!! Very tasty fish dishes - fish soup, catfish and perch!!! Great service!!! We recommend it to everyone!!!

The most tasty fish I've ever tried!!

We enjoyed a delicious meal of fresh fish and highly recommend the four fish plate. The view over the Danube was unparalleled and the staff was cheerful and provided great recommendations.

If you ever visit the national park Đerdap, don't miss this amazing restaurant "Joca Krofna" in Tekija, Kladovo district. Here you will enjoy the fresh Danube fish and meat specialties made the traditional way.

Tasty food, and excellent service. Recommend!

It was fantastic especially the starter: grilled cheese, marinated mushrooms, fish paté.... Absolutely delicious! The main dish was cevap filled with ham, cheese and olive. I have never eaten cevap prepared like this before. Also recommend it pretty much! I wish we could taste more dishes of the menu.
Additionally they were very kind and friendly!

Very good food for good value, a small harbour nearby provides berthing for free with a good water supply, showers are on the beach with a kiosk that sells beer,soft drinks and coffee

I was so hungry that I forgot to take photos. The young owner gave good suggestions for lunch and everything was well prepared and tasty. Smoked cooked and grilled local cheese, fish soup and 3 different fishes followed by the crepes were our choice...
I even learnt how the place got its name when he started selling doughnuts with his father Joca on the nearby beach and how this family run restaurant started.

Sunset view is perfect from this place, and the prices are really affordable. We will come back for sure! :)

The food and service is amazing, we had the best fish soup ever. But everything else is also amazing we loved the service and the great atmosphere.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit here.
