Wow what an amazing surprise ! A true local restaurant with authentic northern Thai food.
The restaurant itself is like a vintage museum but the best part is the food: I had the dried smoked fish soup, the chicken curry puffs, the fried crab meat and the steamed fish. All of them were SO perfectly executed. But the best one is the soup, really amazing with the taste of dried smoked fish.

We went there for lunch on the way back to BKK. Didn't stay at the hotel.
What is this place? It's massive, beautiful and amazing.
I was mesmerized by their collections of antiques, toys, retro equipments and furniture.
The collectibles must be collected from generations as some of them are almost a hundred year and some of them I never thought i would find it here.
I spent the time walking, enjoying the view and collections for an hour and almost miss my lunch. The food was delicious and lovely.
There is also lovely cafe inside where you can sit and chill after the meal.

Will come back for the hotel.

There is a suspension bridge that leads to the cafe. It’s not the sturdiest bridge in the world, but it does make you feel like Indiana Jones when crossing it.

Interesting restaurant filled with a captivating array of historical artifacts. The atmosphere was enriched with relics from the past, creating a truly unique and immersive experience. As for the food, it was simply delicious. Each dish was a culinary delight that left my taste buds satisfied. This restaurant seamlessly blended history and gastronomy, making it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a blend of culture and delectable cuisine.

A good museum like display of vintage collectibles and scrumptious affordable food offered by the restaurant decorated with KFC and swensen themes by a small river. However, the location is a bit out the way through alleys and fortunately we had hired driver to get us there.

Museum with huge variety of antiques. Fun and interesting to see! Dining options available inside as well. Overall very nice and warm ambience.

A must visit when in Khao Yai. Nice environment to lunch beside the river, food was good and the toys museum was interesting. I particularly liked the beef soup which cost 380 baht, beef balls and brisket and meat, the pad Thai and fried rice were alright.

Love this beautiful vintage cafe & Restaurant. Restaurant staff were amazing, but at the cafe one staff is quite rude. Overall experience great spot highly recommended.

This is a museum restaurant and is one of the most amazing places I have ever seen in Thailand.
The history that is in this museum is fantastic and must have taken so long to put together , you would need a whole day just to see it all

This place is just… WOW. Truly a feast for the eyes and soul! 🥹🤩 This vintage museum is HUGE with loads of things to see!! There’s different sections / themes to the place and easy to get lost just wandering around exploring. It’s really nostalgic and brings back memories of simpler times in the past..❤ there’s a restaurant, café, and hotel all in this place as well! The food and drinks in both the restaurant and café are really good too.

Appreciate the effort to upkeep and even create a place like this. Decoration is super amazing and you can tell that lots of effort were put into even the smallest of details. There’s also a ping pong table outside the café if you’d like to play, and loads of comfy sofa to just sit and chill there, taking in the surroundings. This is a must go!!! 👍 What a great experience.. Thailand never fails to amaze me 🥲❤🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A nice restaurant decorated with the collection from 80's & 90's ... Photogenic place (don't forget to check out their cafe.. it will route to the resident zone with a more scenic area)... Food is nice as well lol

Amazing food. We had black pepper beef, and crab fried rice. Both delicious. Also a great atmosphere, and great service. They have a museum of collectables, very interesting to walk through. They are right on the river too so you get some great river views.

You will need a few hours in this place to eat and explore the nostalgic things in the museum. Cross the bridge and you will enter another area with bigger nostalgic furnitures and decorative items.

This place is huge, located by the river/creek. The restaurant is located deep into the museum, unless you have a guide to take you through, you will have a hard time finding the restaurant. We went there early and got a table easily. There are lots of food o the menu, some which I have not seen before. Overall the food was yummy.

A must to visit in Khao Yai!

This is a MUST SEE & MUST EAT place in Khao Yai. It is like a museum! Our eyes were so busy since our 1st step into this place. There are lots kids memory here, old school kids toys, collections, bike, music.

The food choice is good. Authentic Thai food. Sitting by the river, enjoying the food and surrounded the the rustic old school feel. This is simply amazing.

The food was great but the service was okay. They are bit rude to take the order but I tried to understand it’s a lot of customers to take care of. Although not sure i wanted to come back again

Lovely restaurant & museum definitely worth a visit !! It’s located at the riverside, there’s even a beautiful suspension bridge inside the restaurant.

There are limited tables with river view. But even the tables without river view you can also enjoy watching he owners collections right beside your table.

There is a huge personal world wide collection of the restaurant owner displayed inside the restaurant. Love the decoration and layout. The restaurant offers Thai food at reasonable price. I definitely like to visit this place again in the future.

Plenty of car parking space right in front. Recommend to visit the place before noon to avoid the crowd.

Banmai Chaynam, there are not only restaurant but also museum. Great food. Staffs are ok. You can enjoy eating and looking around the museum. Good place to visit.

A massive restaurant with coffee shop with alot of different collections to see. Worth the visit if you are around. Food is pretty decent
