Amazing place. Stayed here months ago and forgot to review but it feels like home away from home, just a super cozy atmosphere. Spacious clean and comfortable room, lovely host. You can even do a short doodling class in the evening to make your dinner and it was so so so good!! At the best price too!

Really sweet guesthouses, I stayed in the dorm and then in the tent it's clean and comfortable. They also have a cooking class for 80B. A lovely owner that cares for her guest. She got nice advices as well. Highly recommended.

The one place I will stay for months. The best friendly host I have ever seen. I just stayed for a night and I loved her.
She cooled food for us, the best food we had at North Thailand.
Sadly we didn't had much time to spent there but the small time we had was big time memory for me.
Will visit again.

The cooking class is a great fun. And for a fraction of the price of a restaurant meal, you end up with a restaurant-class meal / menu (the teacher will help you out if you are about to commit a culinary crime.

A must stay on the loop.

After 5 months travelling in South East Asia I have never seen an owner of a guest house doing cooking classes for dinner. We had as much as we could eat for 80bath.

She is super friendly and speaks great English too. Rooms are large and clean.

I would recommend this place to anyone who is about to do the loop.

Basically, the hostel is quite good, the only thing missing is air conditioning. There are hammocks and outdoor seating. A good value restaurant. In the evening you can cook together with a local. That's really great! the staff is nice and helpful. the beds have a large locker and a curtain. My room didn't have a bunk bed which is very nice. bathroom was clean and big.

Really nice place to stay. It's not far from city center. Rooms were super clean and beds harder but I prefer this. Owner is really nice lady and it was pleasure to talk to her. There were also cooking classes every night and the experience was so nice. Definitely recommend to stay at this place.

We stayed for 3 days and 3 nights. My friends and I were satisfied with almost everything during our stay. It’s located not so far from the city center but if you have a car or knows how to ride a motorcycle, it wouldn’t be a problem. The house looks quite antique but still comfortable and reliable. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and cook delicious food. The property gives a provincial atmosphere with a nice view of the mountains. You can choose to cook your own food or ask them to cook for you. It’s an apparent place to stay for those who go trekking as it’s cheaper. You may leave your belongings without worry. There was no problem communicating with the owner as she speaks English well. There are bicycles you can borrow or rent for a day. The owner has contacts with taxi services or Tuktok you can ride on to get around the city proper if you do not know how to drive.

Was greeted upon arrival with a cold cup of water. Owner spoke great English. Rooms had plenty of fans. At night they do a cooking class which is very fun! Overall great experience for a very competitive price!

Amazing place to stay! And the "cook together" dinners in the evening are awesome.

I had to write a review for this accomodation. Often you read in a review that "the host is very nice" but this hostess was of a whole new level. She's so kind and the enthousiasm with which she hosts the joint cooking session every night is contagious.

Other than that: nice clean rooms, great food and a very chill atmosphere.

extremely well run lodging! multiple options for sleeping arrangements, bathrooms in every room! Beds are comfy and the place is spotless and clean! showers have good pressure :)
the host is an absolute gem of a human, she is extremely kind and works very hard to keep things running smooth. she knows the area well and made several great recommendations! there is also an amazing kitchen on site that’s open all day, some of the best pad thai i have had and a huge portion for cheap!!

We stopped here for one night. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and tried to organise events to bound with the hosts. The night we were there, there was a shared cooking dinner! Highly recommended

Super friendly owner and the cooking together was a unique and great experience. The rooms are basic but for the price really okay. Perfect place to stay if you are travelling by scooter or motor as its a bit outside of the city centre.

Probably the best place I’ve stayed in Thailand (I’m here for 8 months). Amazing host who recommend many stuff around, is super friendly and cook with you a dinner. Also met amazing people there. Will definitely stay again if I’m in Mae Hong Son. :)

This hostel is amazing! Especially if you're doing the loop and looking for your place to stay in mae hong son.

1. The owner of the place is the best. She does most of the work by herself and she is super professional and kind. She made in advance a map of mae hong son full of recommendations, where to go, what to see and where to eat. Super helpful!

2. Location wise it's great. Not far from the city center, and not far from other further interesting places in the north and south (ban rak thai, microwave viewpoint...).

3. Each night there is a small cooking class. Everyone from the hostel comes and cooks together fresh food which is bought from a local market by the owner. Absolutely delicious food and a free cooking class!

4. The rooms are great. It's got everything you need and if you're a backpacker like myself, you'll be glad to know it's the cheapest place around.

This place isn't good. It's amazing. I can't recommend it enough. Enjoy!

Great Owner. I booked online but booked the wrong month 😬. Unfortunately they were already fully booked when we arrived 😞But very generously we got offered a house in the middle of the town. It’s more like a private place than a guesthouse. Very authentic. We loved it. We are so grateful.

Owner is incredible helpful and nice, best vibe so far in Thailand. Guest house has everything what you need a you can even cook your own food with help from the chef, so free cooking class. Thanks a lot 🙏🙏

Had the best experience with the host and her employees was my favourite part to the start of my motorcycle trip. Can’t recommend Pon enough she’s amazing :)
