Made a quick stop at Hotel Byzacene for lunch before visiting the nearby archaeological site of Sbeitla. Great food for reasonable prices. Good dine-in location if you don't want the typical fast food restaurants.

Accueil au top, personnels souriant et agréables. Digne d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Je vous recommande cependant de mettre une barrière de sécurité au niveau de la piscine. Pour éviter tout accident. Bien cordialement

The rooms are spacious and clean. The dinner buffet was plentiful and tasty. Fresh baked bread in the breakfast buffet was welcome. The reception staff were very helpful and spoke some English. Definitely the best place to stay to visit Sbeitla, which is just a minute down the street and even more impressive than Carthage. The pool was in a gorgeous spot with views of the ruins and the beautiful landscape. Downsides: echo-y hallways, smoking allowed in all spaces, fascinating LED displays. Tip: walk out to the canyon at the edge of the property for some breathtaking views.
