Tamaghza Oasis

We visited it with a local guide, whom we met just in the parking near the oasis; his help cost us 25 TND per person.💸 He showed us a way through the oasis + a short hike via the gorge, which ended in a good restaurant. 😋

It's not the cheapest thing, and I think there is room for negotiation. Still, the deal is good for the price.

We didn't use the service of any local guide. Keep in mind that the road to the river is very narrow and two cars don't really fit side by side.

Tamaghza is another Oasis village, now abandoned, and close by is a sizable waterfall.

Great waterfall that lead to a huge canyon. Diverse local foods and activity. 100% visit again

nice respite in the desert.. stay for some coffee in the nice patio overlooking the waterfall..

Canyon

Le paysage est magnifique entre canyon, et chute d'eau. Les gens y sont tellement gentils et serviables.

Podeu arribar amb louage des de Tozeur per 6 DT. Quan arribeu baixeu fins el restaurant Cascade. Allà podeu acabar de baixar a l'oasi per les escales o podeu pujar a un turó per veure les vistes i arribar a l'oasi baixant pel Canyó (a mi em va acompanyar un jove del poble per 10 DT).
Des d'allà podreu baixar, seguint el curs del rierol, fins a la cascada. Són uns 2 km. En algún lloc us mullareu les sabates.

Accessible à tous et parfait pour prendre des photos. On etait fatigué donc on n'a pas vraiment enjoyed le canyon... mais on a vu le potentiel. Si vous arrivez a chebika il vous est imperatif de faire les 13 km de plus et aller a Tamaghza ou Tamerza. La chute d'eau est plus interessante que celle de chebika en passant et juste en haut il y a une boutique ou acheter des souvenirs et c'est un resto aussi.

NB. Il y a une dame en ville qui produit un concentré de dattes qu'ils appellent du "miel de dattes" dans la zone and guys c'est EXCELLENT. Croyez moi sur parole

La cascada bastante floja pero el cañón al que llegamos gracias a las indicaciones de un local; muy chulo.

La foresta di palme e il canyon sono particolari per i motociclisti che se la sentono parte la pista di Rommel che ti porta a vedere panorami mozzafiato
