Mahdia Beach & Aqua Park

We spent 7 days at this hotel and had a wonderful time. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with our experience. The rooms were comfortable, and the cleaning staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our needs were met daily. The food offered a variety of options, although it was somewhat repetitive. Nevertheless, there was enough choice to keep things interesting. The entire staff, including waiters, bartenders, and other personnel, were consistently friendly and helpful.

The entertainment team deserves a special mention for their engaging activities. The beach was lovely and expansive, perfect for leisurely walks. Exploring the surroundings felt safe and enjoyable.

While there's room for improvement, such as adding another bar to alleviate crowding and renovating certain areas of the hotel, I found the overall experience to be enjoyable. Considering the price and quality, my expectations were met. I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a reasonably priced, pleasant getaway.

we stayed for 5 days and it was the best. The service was excellent and the staff were really really sweet and friendly. the food was pretty good and their fresh orange juice every morning was my favourite. the swimming pool was so nice and warm, i didnt even want to get out. there are lots of cats and they’re super friendly. I highly recommend this hotel as it has that mediterranean theme throughout the whole hotel. the view at nighttime was especially the best. i want to go back

I visited the hotel May 2023 with my family and it was a lovely trip. The hotel itself, is really nice and the rooms are spacious and clean. The swimming pool is also well kept, both indoor and outdoor. I really like the layout of this hotel as it incorporates both your room and the outside greenery as well. You’re not confined to just your balcony in your room and then a wall when you leave the room. When you leave your room you can see the greenery of the hotel which is a nice touch.

We had an all inclusive package and loved the fact that drinks, including mocktails, were included. The fresh coffee they make in the lounge area was lovely and the mint tea at the end of the day was a vibe. Bottles of water are also kept there and you can take as many as you need without having to keep asking which I really liked.

This is a family friendly hotel with an amazing entertainment service. I have stayed at the 5* Royal Monsour just a few minutes away and it was not as good as compared to this hotel in terms of service. The service at Mahdia Beach was amazing. The staff was always smiling and genuinely wanted to have conversations with you.

May is not peak season so the hotel garden area wasn’t as clean as it could be, with leaves around, but it didn’t bother me. The food is ok. As a Pakistani I found myself just eating omelettes and fruit every morning as there wasn’t much variety but that’s fine. The snack bar had a great deal of pizzas, chips and other food throughout the day and the evening dinner was also ok. But this is the case in most hotels in Tunisia as I am not in love with their cuisine. So that’s a personal opinion.

I would definitely not recommend the Spa service. It is a lot more expensive than doing it outside of the hotel and the staff are not friendly. Unfortunately, my mother had a very bag experience as they did not do her treatment properly.

Me and my son went for Christmas and New year's, the staff are so friendly the waiters are helpful and check in on you to ensure everything is okay and attentive. The animation/entertainment team are amazing my son loved them, you can also see the other children love being around them. Always had activities on for the children aswell as entertainment in the evening.
I would also recommend a spa treatment so cheap I had a Turkish bath, body scrub, sauna, massage and facial all for approximately £40 the lady was very professional, polite and the treatment was extremely relaxing.
Lots of food at meal times, only downfall is the waterpark is closed during the winter season. The hotel is also right on the beach which is handy, and walking distance from supermarkets, other restaurants and the cash machine. Would definitely go back again and would recommend to anyone else who will be traveling to Tunisia.

Very nice hotel, pleasant service, good food. The rooms in the hotel are also beautiful. I recommend it for a great vacation with family.

Hi today night we going back to our country, but huge thanks for animators. This guys are awesome, kind and helpful. Boss of this hotel plis give him an extra pension, really all of they are awesome !!!

Wowza, what a lovely holiday that was. This place is a fantastic budget family option. My 3 boys had the best time. Between floating around in the sea with a nice soft sand beach with little fish and harmless jellyfish checking you out, riding camels, interacting with the locals selling rides, experiences and souvineers as well as the attached water park (which had 6 large water slides, a lazy river and a wave pool where they also had staff performing dances to music whom where really good) you leave thoroughly knackered and happy and all the kids with massive content smiles on their faces!!!
If you fancy a massage take to Razi whom you can find in the lobby or by the pool. The massages are awesome, I had two coming upto the end of the trip to balance out all the swimming and water park action with the kids and enjoyed feeling amazing after.!! The rooms are basic but roomy and comfortable and we'll air-conditioned which is so important at the end of a hot and busy day! Totally loved it.

I spend six weeks at this resort and have great time. It is not during tourist season but it just means you have such an expansive hotel almost to yourself. Beautiful room and excellent views particularly the sea view rooms. Great experience from the check in, the reception staff Mohammed and al, plus the cleaners very friendly, Alex and the animation team always on call to chat and make your experience very nice, really appreciate their rapport and enthusiasm for activities, particularly as I was alone so a good opportunity to meet and mingle with other guests. Great service from the 24 hour bartenders, all of whom are wonderful friendly people. big pools both indoor and outdoor. Enjoyed the wide variety of food available and you can get snacks at any time. Nice little shop on site. Private beach which is beautiful. A short walk from town and the medina which is a great and vibrant city with plenty of food and cafe options if you want to have a change from the hotel also.
The grounds and Gardens are stunning. I will like to go back soon. 5/5.

Me and my mother stayed at LTI Mahdia Beach and Aquapark at the end of May/start of June 2023. They went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Every member of the staff we encountered from Mohamed from the reception front desk that accommodated our needs with a good room to the cleaning staff, restaurant staff and of course the entertainment(animation) team which is truly the SOUL of the resort.

I will start my praise of the animation team with the King of dance, Blackie which is a very talented person and has infinite patience. His dancing moves during the day near the pool, but also in the evening on the dancing floor are unequalled, him teaching others moves and of course the lovely patience with the children during different activities like yoga, exercise, darts, etc (see attached photos) He is one of a kind soul and there wasn't a day when he didn't stop to everyone and check how people are and put a smile on their face.
Another person that has a special place in our hearts is Sniper from Serbia. A very vibrant young person, very active with the animation team that accompanied the mini golf activity for adults which was lots of fun and with great patience he explained how it should be done and with a blind eye to some fun bending of the rules and I even attached a photo of the mini gold course which is designed as a medina. Another mention are the dance recitals, ballet influenced, organised by Sniper which brought a lot of smiles on people faces because of the children involvement and the funny nature. Such a big open heart.
Another interaction not to be forgotten was with Med, which held many activities, but we mostly did Aqua gym with. This guy has a very specific humour and be prepared to laugh, but also have a serious conversation if that is what you need. A very real person that won't smile just for interest, but only because he genuinely feels it.
Other people would like to mention from the animation team are Chris who has a great spirit and loves fun, Goku who will turn any frown upside down, the amazing ladies from the team, Mary and the curly redhead, which unfortunately don't know her name. The whole team seems very dedicated and we enjoyed the shows they set up in the conference room and how hard working they are. It is obvious how much they like it, they work many hours per day and when you don't see them by the pool or at an activity, be sure they are somewhere setting a new event and rehearsing choreographed dance steps. Around the pool also, the life guards made a very good impression, always very alert, but also helping anyone with umbrellas, chairs etc and the blonde photographer, Nadid? which had great interactions with everyone.

The room we had was a standard one, had tv, mini refrigerator, shower, balcony and a safe-deposit box and the room seemed renovated. Was cleaned daily, with towels changed, bins emptied, floors mopped, and everything else needed.

Food wise, the resort was very good. 3 big windows for main meals in the main restaurant and in between, snacks at the other terrace near the pool and crepes and doughnuts. The food varied a lot, with traditional and international dishes and so many fresh fruits, baked goods and choices that even the pickiest eaters could find something. The overall taste for traditional foods not spicy, and a bit on the unsaltier side which was excellent for my taste. The restaurant and lounge are very well staffed, someone always is asking what you would like to drink or cleaning the tables with a great attitude, smile and very humble. Mister Hassan made a great impression on us, know exactly what we needed and also teaching us some arabic words which delighted us.

Speaking of languages, I must mention most people from the animation team seemed to know at least 4-5 languages and the staff at restaurant about 3.

Had a lovely stay here with my wife and two children and also with another family . Was nice and quiet as was off season over Easter holiday . Checkin was easy once the relevant details had been checked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels and sheets every other. The hotel has lots of character and has lots of potential.the pools were clean and the waterpark was a fantastic addition best I've been to so far and kept the children occupied .the food may not to be everyone taste but you would never go hungry , there is lots to choose from , even for my 2 fussy eating young boys. Restaurant waiters are tentative and a little tip here and there puts bigger smiles on their faces , a special shout out to osamu or usamu, really took care of us In the Restaurant and made sure there was a table for 8 at all times and totally looked after us 😀 all in all we had the best holiday and I would return , the only downside is the 2 1/2 airport transfer . We never went outside the hotel complex so couldn't comment on the surroundings

Lti Mahdia Beach was great. Really.
My brother and I went there for 1 week in the beginning of May 2019.
The weather was good. 25°C and no rain at all. The slide parc was included and it definitely is an excellent place for children. I counted 12 slides, also high ones. Very good.

Well, don't expect too much of the food. They have delicious stuff but no gourmet cuisine! Reasonable for the price, isn't it?

All waiters were very nice and helpful. Try to keep their names in your head and give them a bit of money for their hard work. Treat them how you want to be treated!

The animation team was absolutely great. I became friends with Jeannie and Shaggy. Great them from me (Annabel, GER). Very good dancers and the whole team was fun. They create funny shows, sometimes a bit over the top but all in all good animation.
Nice dances, zumba, yoga, swim sports and a lot of different stuff. You will feel well entertained with different shows. But during Ramadan there won't be a disco taking place even though they have an own disco location.

You don't need to bring towels as they have a lot of beach towels to offer.
Well, I can imagine it will be crowded in summer season and we were rather off-peak but the hotel is big, no lack of space.
The animation team takes care of the children very well as far as I can tell.

The Sahara trip they would offer is highly recommendable. See it from the pictures.
