Arafat is the most friendly helpful person I have met in Tunisia, knowledgeable helpful and happy. Epic spot on the edge of town

Lovely campsite on the edge of town, easily accessible from the main road to El Faouar. The place is set in an oasis with plenty of shade from the palm trees. Sanitary facilities are clean and well kept, there is plenty of hot water and good showers. The site hardly gets crowded since it is off the tourist track and it has generous pitches. Prices are all inclusive, there is none of the usual adding up of people, electricity, showers, tourist tax and whatever nonsense.

The owners, Arafet and Latifa are very welcoming and make you feel at home. Latifas cooking is splendid, her meals are better then in any restaurant around.

They have small rooms and little huts for rent if you don't feel like camping. A highly recommended place.

Latifa you are the queen of Tunisian cooking! Thank you very much for the most pleasant stay. Arafat, Latifa and their 3 kids have been wonderful hosts and incredibly welcoming. Traditional tea as a welcome plus fresh bread in the morning. Don’t miss dinner cooked by Latifa. Best we had so far. Facilities are clean and hot water showers work a treat. Beautiful spot under date palm trees. We certainly will be back one day.

A perfect place to enjoy some time in the town of Kebili. The price for one night includes a heartwarming welcome, interesting information about the culture of Tunisia, hot water showers, clean sanitary installations and electricity. If you like, you can also enjoy a deliciouse tunisian dinner and if you need help, Arafat and Latifa are always threre to support. Hospitality at its best. Thank you, Arafat and Latifa.

I had an amazing two days, such lovely and caring people. The food was amazing! I went there with only a plan to catch the Sahara festival in Douz, but Arafat took the time and showed me around, it really made my two days worth it. I even did a trip to the Sahara in Zafran! Very honest people. Thank you again, I will be back with friends and family for sure! Kebili is a really calm place if you want to reconnect with yourself and take a Southern look on Tunisia. Very beautiful!

Ein toller Ort, extrem sauber und wahnsinnig nette Gastgeber. Leider konnten wir nur eine Nacht verweilen. Sollte es mich wieder in die Gegend verschlagen werde ich garantiert wiedert dort aufschlagen. Und dann auch das Abendessen mitnehmen. Abends brachte uns das Gastgeberehepaar Brik und eine tunesische Suppe durch, einfach so. Und was soll ich sagen- extremst lecker. Danke schön für alles.

Nous avons passé deux jours chez ce Monsieur. C'était une expérience formidable au côté d'une famille qui était adorable et très serviable avec nous. L'hôte est un guide local et connais toute les activités à faire dans la région ! Ils étaient vraiment aux petits soins avec mon mari et moi. Nous vous remercions pour votre excellent accueil !! Einer der schönsten und freundlichsten Plätze in Tunesien! Arafat, Latifa und ihre Kinder haben uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen, mit Minztee, eigenen Datteln, leckerem Abendessen und Brot am Morgen versorgt. :)
Wir waren mit unserem Camper dort, alle Sanitäranlagen sind super sauber.
Hoffentlich können wir bald wieder kommen.

Sehr sauberer Platz unter Palmen. Betreiber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Abend Essen gut und reichlich.
Der Platz war für mich jetzt 2 Monate zentraler Mittelpunkt für ausgedehnte Tour in Richtung Ost- West und weiter nach Süden.
Jetzt ist aber die Zeit gekommen den grünen Norden zu erforschen.
Ich kann dem Betreiber Ehepaar nur danken für die herzliche Fürsorge. Besonders freundlich waren auch die 3 Kinder die sich sehr freuten über mein Streich Tier Pinsel.

Cet endroit mérite que vous vous y arrêtiez: le camping est très propre, les bungalows sont confortables avec matelas neufs. Arafat et Latifa seront de très bon conseil si vous voulez découvrir la région avec votre cœur. Et pour finir Latifa est une superbe cuisinière qui vous concoctera des plats tunisiens traditionnels, vous pourrez même suivre ses cours. Un couple adorable et à l’écoute de leurs hôtes. Je recommande fortement.

2023 waren wir wieder dort. Die Sanitäranlagen sind komplett neu und sehr schön gemacht worden. Essen bei Latifa wie immer super.

2022: Sehr schöner, gepflegter Campingplatz. Warme Duschen.Die Gastgeber Latifa und Arafat lesen einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Wir haben gut gegessen und auch immer alles vertragen.
Der Platz ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt zu einer Sandrosentour oder ins Schott mit dem Geländefahrzeug.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Arafat hat uns herzlich empfangen. Als nächstes gab's direkt nen Minztee zur Begrüssung. Später kam noch seine Frau Latifa mit ihrem Abendessen vorbei, welches sie auch direkt mit uns geteilt haben.

Die Sanitäranlagen waren sauber, Duschen waren heiss, Strom hat nicht funktioniert für uns, aber wir haben da nicht nachgefragt.

30 TD/Nacht für Van und 2 Personen.
Wir würden ganz klar wieder kommen!

Magnifique accueil de la part d Arafat et Latifa. Quelques bungalows au milieu du camping. Sanitaires très propres. Un repas fait maison digne des meilleurs restaurants. Je recommande. ++++

Super freundliche Besitzer, die Dame des Hauses ist eine hervorragende Köchin, die jeden Abend was anderes auf den Tisch zaubert.

Ich kann mich der Rezesion von Andrea Gatti nur anschließen.
Arafat und Latifa empfangen eine so herzlich als würde man sich seit Jahren kennen.
Campingplatz ist super! Duschen ist sogar mit Warmwasser möglich.

Was ich aber nie vergessen werde ist das Abendessen.

Wir werden Arafat und Latifa auf jeden fall wieder besuchen.

Super Campingplatz, von allen besuchten der beste in Tunesien. Saubere Sanitären Anlagen . Freundlicher Empfang. Ausser Stellplätzen mit Strom. Gibt's auch Zimmer zum Mieten. Im Haus oder im Dattelpalmen Garten

Wunderbarer Platz schöne Anlage, saubere und gut funktionierende sanitäre Anlagen.Warmes Wasser. Die Gastgeber Arafat und Letifa sind sehr freundlich und das Essen ist besser als in jedem Restaurant

bel posto, molto gentili e onesti, si dorme bene e c'è molto spazio. Latifa cucina benissimo e Arafat sempre presente.

D’année en année, le camping s’améliore, les sanitaires sont neufs, les emplacements bien délimités et le tout au milieu d’une superbe palmeraie…
Bien situés sur le trajet entre Tozeur et Douz, une halte idéale … et, pour couronner votre séjour, Latifa vous permettra de découvrir la cuisine Tunisienne, et les saveurs du Sud…
