Solid hotel (with a extremely sweet reception dog!)

Heads up: I would not recommend the group tour and group transportation used by Sentio Travel / the travel agency used by the hotel. In my experience, none of the cars used by the agency had a working air conditioner (worth clarifying that we used the group services, not the private ones, so that might be a different experience), which was a bit tough for August weather. I would give the travel agency a 3/5. Just fine.

Exquisite hotels do exist & Carus is the proof for that! I've spent a long weekend with them & couldn't be more impressed - from the hospitability of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, the design of the hotel, the facilities provided. I found it a good value for money & mostly suitable for couples - though solo travelers can surely make the most of their stay here, too. The hotel provides a very diversified breakfast at the restaurant on top, which is one of the best in Cappadocia, so do book yourself in for a culinary treat. And the cherry on top is the view - which allows for the most breathtaking pictures of balloons at sunrise.

Carus has been such a delight to stay at. The absolute comfiest beds I could have imagined to sleep on during a vacation. We booked a tour (Red Highlighter Tour) through the hotel and had the best tour guide, Rana. She was very patient, explained the history in detail, and helped us purchase items from vendors without getting ripped off as tourists. Could not recommend her enough, she was absolutely fantastic! She even went out of her way to give us a list of places to check out in our next destination. She made this experience so fun for us. Thank you to Carus for an overall amazing stay!

Highly recommend this hotel. It is in the heart of the city so you can explore by foot and check out local restaurants. The room with a terrace was amazing and great views of the city. The restaurant has a rooftop bar that was a bit slow to serving you if you are just getting drinks (we were forgotten every time we went) but still worth checking it out. The customer service was great and most of them spoke English so you can communicate easily with them. This place is a 10/10 for us!!

Best hotel we stayed at in Turkey. Stylishly renovated, excellent service and great location I wouldn’t look anywhere else. The heated cave pool is also something extra special and unique. The hotel also has a sister travel agency that can organise your balloon rides, day trips and even shuttle buses to/from the airport all with competitive prices.

We booked a cave suite and it was a highlight of our time in Cappadocia region. The location is prime,being in the center of time made everything accessible. There is also a great restaurant on the roof and a cave like pool on site.

Location alone, Carus is the best place to be in Goreme! Service was great and the room was beautiful with great AC and shower pressure. This is a really nice hotel and I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Cappadoccia!

Really amazing hotel. While we were looking for options in Goreme we were not really keen on cave hotels as we felt they were a bit claustrophobic, so we browsed through Carus, we really liked their stone rooms, with a window/balcony. I am glad that we chose this room/hotel as we had an amazing 3 nights and very good experience with our stay.

The breakfast could be improved though, as there were limited options as vegetarians for us and with no dry fruits being offered was a bit surprising.

Location is great, and with amazing views. I will probably pick this hotel again on my next visit. :)

An absolutely beautiful experience at Carus Cappadocia Hotel.

The room was spacious and had great views of the city. The spa was also beautiful with access to a sauna, pool, and shower.

Carus is also in a great location with everything within walking distance.

The staff was great and easy to communicate with. Truly a great experience thanks to the staff.

If living in a cave is your thing, it's the best place for that, mind you there's no sunlight, if you like me you prefer to see the natural light. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Service is their key differentiator, be it waiting for staff at restaurant or the concierge and room services.
Also, they have an in cave swimming pool and sauna, which sadly I couldn't use due to my busy schedule.

Our cave room was cozy. The A/C made up for the lack of windows. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Room amenities were plentiful. Staff were very hospitable and accomkodating. Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and Fatma was very attentive and gave warm and cheerful service. :-)

We came here on our Eid Trip and had a relaxed , peaceful trip. The hotel is amazing with the various levels and exit entrances to make it easier (anyone with leg problems be careful to ask for a room accordingly beforehand). We got there late night and were managed, taken around and our car was parked by valet easily. The reception staff showed us around.
We got a cave room. The rooms are super cool and thoughtfully designed. It gets a bit claustrophobic and warm as its closed up with no windows. But its a super cool experience staying in an old cave. If not the hotel also has regular rooms.
The staff was always helpful and ready to fix something when asked.
Dinner here was perfect. Good quality non Touristy food- turkish and non turkish with a view to the city.
Breakfast is on the rooftop and the servers were very helpful specialty Fatimah.
Overall we Loved the modern twist on traditional Turkish at Carus!

Beautiful hotel with modern facilities (pool, sauna), nice views (including the hot air balloons in the early morning) and friendly staff. Shoutout to Fatma who made our breakfasts really enjoyable and even surprised my girlfriend with a small birthday cake!

We stayed at Cari’s hotel for 5 nights and we were impressed . Beautiful hotel all the staff speak English and they look after you and the most beautiful thing is the restaurant for breakfast you can see all the ballrooms which was magical for us. We highly recommend the hotel they breakfast was amazing and the lady who looked after us was Fatima she was great and so kind. We had a great time and for sure we will recommend to our friends and family and we will be back again. Thank you for the beautiful hospitality and memories.

It has been such a pleasure staying at Carus. I don’t typically leave hotel reviews, but this place is just so wonderful. What’s so special is their people. Everyone is so service oriented, helpful and always with a smile. Literally everyone; not just the hotel manager, but the reception, housekeeping, service staff and the restaurant staff. It made me wonder how they keep their staff so happy. The cave suite was lovely as well; it’s exactly like the photos and very well maintained and clean. Highly recommended!

Carus was absolutely amazing, not only were the rooms beautiful and clean but the location was perfect it was Central to everything. On top of that, the service was more than exceptional, they took care of our tours, taxis, shuttle to and from the airport. I cannot say enough about this place. The rooms were gorgeous, clean, and the beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept on at any hotel. The spa was such a relaxing experience, the sauna was clean and they provide robes and towels all in the same room. If you are considering staying here, don't hesitate. Looked at a ton of hotels for weeks and I kept coming back to carus because the pictures looked amazing and we're exactly what I was expecting once we actually arrived. And last but not least, the terrace 😍😍😍 perfect location to view the hot air balloons! We got amazing pictures, they served us Turkish coffee(best I had in the area too) before the kitchen was even open. Just absolutely amazing our experience.

The view and food here is so good we came twice. I’d be surprised if there was better food in Cappadocia.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are spacious with all the modern amenities you could need. Our room had a private balcony offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape and balloons.

The Carus also has a rooftop restaurant with panoramic views, a spa, and an indoor swimming pool built into the caves like a grotto so make sure you pack your bathing suit.

Book a local tour and ask for Rana, you’ll be glad you did.

Beautiful hotel, centrally located in Goreme. The staff at Reception were very helpful and the General Manager was generous with his time, running through various sites we should visit and giving us recommendations.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The layout of the hotel is a delight. My husband used the pool, which was lovely and warm.

Breakfast is exceptional. There is a wide range of food available, both sweet and savoury. The breakfast staff are all very efficient and Fatma always greeted us with a smile every morning.
