This is the only place in town that doesn't make me feel pushed and actually welcoming me to come in and quality food. Relaxing atmosphere, great people with real attitude, and great food with reasonable prices (be aware that most restaurants are selling low to average quality food, overpriced and pushy at the door). I highly recommend the stews and Onion soup, everything would be perfect with nice warm bread. 😋 I came here many times during my week long stay and would recommend to any tourists who are confused and don't know where to go!! :)

We received a recommendation from our hotel, Elysee Cave to have the Turkish pizza here. We are still yet to try it, but we have eaten here twice and tried a couple of dishes.
My mum and I have shared these dishes since we don’t have a refrigerator for left overs and this is enough for both of us.

The manager Ramis was very friendly and attentive and we shared a lot of good natured bantering during the meal. To combat the bold flies who appeared during the meal, they burned what appeared to be coffee grounds which vacated the flies pronto !

We had the Testi Kebab and lentil soup the first day. The testi kebab is cooked in a clay pot for hours, brought to the table where they cut the pot open for you, to reveal the simmering lamb pieces cooked with tomatoes and pepper. It comes with rice. This is a local dish and is worth a try.
The lentil soup is accompanied by a delicious flat bread. Be sure to squeeze the slice of lemon into the soup to add that tangy flavor.

Night 2, we had the lamb shish, which comes with rice, potatoes, grilled tomatoes and a spicy looking pepper which isn’t a tongue burner. Some of the meat was a little chewy but overall a decent meal. We of course had the lentil soup again. It’s become a favorite during our Turkish travels.

Great ambience, decent pricing, good food.

Very nice staff. helpful with the menu and good English. Food was enjoyable and as expected. Comfortable temperature on a cold night. Could do without the hip hop music. We went back a 2nd time and really loved the mushrooms.

My mom and I had a wonderful dining experience at Anatolian Kitchen! We ordered two dishes, Kuzu Saç Tava and Minced Meat Pide with Cheese, and both were absolutely delicious.

First, the Kuzu Saç Tava had perfectly blended lamb and vegetables, served with rice, offering a truly authentic Turkish flavor. The Minced Meat Pide with Cheese had a crispy crust with rich fillings, providing a delightful texture and making it hard to stop eating.

In addition to the fantastic food, the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, making us feel very welcome. This dining experience was very enjoyable, and we will definitely return next time!

We went for lunch today, not crowded. We had the sizzling plate, a bit salty but overall Very nice. Staff was helpful, good service. And compared to other restaurant in the area, I would say the price is reasonable !

I am totally enjoying my meal at Anatolian Kitchen. They serve authentic and flavourful Turkish cuisine, i had my Kuzu Sac Tava is delicious and big portion. Also i found only this special bread at Anatolian Kitchen (Like a balloon bread). Restaurant is located just right at the centre behind of the Goreme bus station, surrounding with other souvenir shop. The ambient here is good, feels like home, staff are polite and friendly. Compare to other restaurant price here is reasonable, not as high as others. I would definitely recommended to anyone, and you will not regret. Probably will be nice during summer with outdoor seating.

This is one of my favourite restaurants to sit in the evening at Goreme. It was cold outside so they gave me a shawl to wear. Service and atmosphere are very good. Thank you!

We were looking for a typical Turkish restaurant that was not pushy in convincing you to come in, as often happened to us here in Turkey. We tried and we were rewarded in our choice. Quiet place, you eat very well and there are typical Turkish dishes. So good that without too many demands we returned for two consecutive evenings. We were almost always served by Ramis who entertained us with stories and treated us very well. Highly recommended.

I think the best restaurant in Göreme, since most of them are very touristic, High price for less quality.
Here the ambience was really nice from the beginning, our waiter Enver raccomended us many dishes and they were really tasty!

We noticed right away that the ingredients were fresh and the plate more traditional.

It is not easy to find a good portion size and reasonable prices in menu. And this place has both :) More than that, I am pescatarian so I couldn’t go with any meat dish from the menu.
But with a check of slightly above 450tl I had a huge dorado, a salad with pomegranate sauce (I wasn’t expecting it but it was a part of the dorado dish), and a wonderful turkish salep drink (hot sweet milk with cinnamon on too) . I loved it! A great authentic experience!

Just had dinner here - it was terrific. Goreme lives & breathes tourism and finding a place to eat that isn’t overpriced or mediocre (or both) can be a challenge. Not this place.

We had the Ottoman kebab & the manti. Both were excellent & tasted fresh. The kunefe was stellar - it wasn’t cloying at all. The Cappadocian wine was good - the owner gets it from his own supplier.

The service was friendly and felt genuine. The vibe was relaxed and homey. Highly recommended. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely exceptional. We were delighted that this was our first taste of real Anatolian cuisine right at the central junction in Göreme. The best thing is that it has a brilliant selection of veggie dishes, beautifully presented and with friendly service. Bargain prices too! I suspect we'll be back here repeatedly over the next few days.

Great restaurant serving authentic Anatolian cuisine. It’s located in the town centre. Decent ambience and great food. It has a good collection of vegetarian food. The manager also considered our request and modified the dishes to suit our request. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly and polite. We will definitely visit again.

This place is a must for anyone seeking vegetarian options in Goreme/Cappadocia area. My husband and I ordered the lentil soup, acili dip, sigara borek and the famous pottery stew (sebze testi). Everything was really fresh and tasty. The staff was kind and friendly!
