Citylights Bar - Taksim

If only I could put in words the level of hospitality and kindness on the part of the stuff and the beauty of the view of Istanbul!

Food and drinks quality were top tier, prices were on the high end, but it was worth it. I spent many hours in the bar, enjoying the incredible view.

This spot is a highlight place if you visit Istanbul The view only feels space like and it's breathing Their coffee and desserts are a must try I m actually shocked travel influencers haven't made the view from there,viral !

Amazing views across the Bosphorus to Anatolya (only blocked by the Marmara Hotel across Taksim Square), and across the Golden Horn to Fatih and Eminomu.

Food was nice but not great, and drinks were predictably expensive for Istanbul, but not expensive by global standards for a facility of such exceptionally high quality.

We were expecting there to be more of a buzz at Citylights but it was pretty empty the night we were there, especially for a Saturday night. Maybe it was the impending presidential election run-off or simply a cost issue.

Amazing view, if you love gin - ask Yasin and Aykan for cocktails :)

What a view!
We had cocktails and desert and enjoyed a relaxing evening.
Cocktails were tasty, I took one of the barman's favourites and didn't regret it.
The apple pie was also very good.
Service was excellent as could be expected from such a high standard place.
Nibbles were provided and replenished without asking.
The music wasn't too loud and gently added to the experience.
The view is just great, I highly recommend to come for a drink here. Price are maybe high for Istanbul but it was worth it. We payed about £30.

By far the best bar that I visited in Istanbul. You nees to enter via the entrance of thr Intercontinental hoyel. The service is amazing and the cocktails were really tasty. As for the view - I was speechless.

Views are spectacular, best I have seen in Istanbul. Drinks are quite expensive for Turkey but I stayed for 4 as the view was so good, the staff were great and it has a nice ambiance.

The rooftop is a great place to go at night. They have amazing drinks and the view is 10/10. There is also a dj.

My friend and I have been to many bars and clubs during a trip to Istanbul and this was by far the best one.

The view is just stunning, friendly customer service and good-looking premises. Live music was really good too. Perhaps the only downside is that it’s quite pricey but you get what you pay for.

I would most certainly highly recommend City Lights and I will definitely be back.

Nice ambience with a bird eye's view of the city from bosporus bay to all the historical landmarks, from Taksim square. The bay view reminds me of the Victoria bay in Hong Kong.

Great view of the city from the city lights bar. Highly recommend the cocktails. The servers were exceptionally professional
