Very nice to witness that Rumeli cemetries are well preserved in their communities. If im not mistaken this area was called Tatauli, which is also a beautiful name

Ιστορικό νεκροταφείο το βρίσκεται στην περιοχή των ταταούλων και εξυπηρετεί κατά βάση από τότε που ιδρύθηκε αυτή την περιοχή.
Ταταύλα και σήμερα κουρτουλούς ήταν η πιο μεγάλη σε πληθυσμό ελληνική κοινότητα της Κωνσταντινούπολης μετά την ανεξαρτησία της Τουρκίας το 1923 .
Το νεκροταφείο του Αγίου Ελευθερίου εξακολουθεί και έχει κίνηση αλλά και συντήρηση Όπως και το νεκροταφείο του σισλί ακριβώς επειδή η κοινότητα Ακόμα υπάρχει στην περιοχή.
Στο συγκεκριμένο κοιμητήριο αναπαύονται γόννοι πολύ γνωστών οικογενειών της ομογένειας της πόλης. Αξίζει τον κόπο να το επισκεφτείτε
