Best profiterole ever in an almost 80 years old establishment! You should definitely try it if you find yourself in Beyoglu / İstiklal / Taksim. Quality ingredients prepared to perfection, not too sugary so you can taste the botanic elements, cocoa and different textures. We also added a ball of kaymak ice cream (mastic) on the side which complements it perfectly. We spent a total of about 3.60€ per person, a great value for our money!

Inci Pastanesi holds a very special place in my heart as I've been going there since I was really young. Each time I visit, it's like a journey back to my childhood, recalling the wonderful moments when my grandparents used to take me there. It's incredibly comforting to know that their profiteroles still taste just as amazing as they did back then.

After hearing so much about the profiteroles at Ìnci Pastanesi, I was worried it wouldn't live up to its tourist hype. I needn't have been concerned!

Delicious sweet treats (60tl per serving) to be enjoyed within the old-school ambience of shop lined with sophisticated dark wood paneling, rounded faux marble tables, and tastefully presented glass display cases.

Who knew profiteroles could be so tasty?

If you are in Taksim area in Istanbul, having profiteroles at Inci is a must. They are the only ones making authentic profiteroles. They also have delicious chocolate if you are a chocolate lover.

Wow. I am an absolute new person to Istanbul and was brought here by a local friend. The profiteroles are a local treat and a must have (see photos). The chocolate is smooth and not overly sweet, the cream is smooth and the puff is amazing.

I have been enjoying their profiterol here since 1970s. It has been 7 years since I have visited Istanbul and just had İnci profiterol with Turkish tea. The same wonderful taste. Highly recommend it.

One of the best sweet shops in Istanbul. Tourists please do not let fancy and fake baklava shops fool you with their fake history stories..The best Baklava is only made in Gaziantep, it has ever never been a popular sweet in Istanbul..
But western desserts like eiclers or profiterol had always been. Inci is also one of the oldest flagship shops in Istanbul. Always fresh always yummy. Enjoy

A must when visiting Taksim Square. I don't think I have ever visited Istanbul without stopping in at least once. They provided the freshest and tastiest profiteroles that I have ever had. And the lemonade - heaven! Not the original location but an enduring Istanbul tradition. No time to take a break - make it your last stop and grab some take out.

Best desserts in Taksim. Unlike other Turkish desserts places on the main shopping street, the desserts here are not too sweet. The chocolate sauce is amazing! Must try the raisin brownie and the pudding!

A tradition for long decades. There are other profiterols, but none like Inci. I personally prefer krem karamel and a cold lemonade.

I have eaten profiteroles in about twenty places in Istanbul so far over the years and İnci Pastanesi remains my favourite. It is a long-established business, having been opened in 1944 by Greek-Albanian immigrant Lucas Zigorodis, who had previously trained as a pastry chef in France. The shop was originally located on İstiklâl Caddesi itself, but had to relocate in 2013 to the current premises on Mis Sokağı. As with Karaköy Güllüoğlu (the rough equivalent in terms of baklava), There is only one branch, despite imitators who use similar names.

I note that many of the negative reviews comment on the quality of the chocolate and cream. It's important to be aware that these profiteroles are a little bit different from the French style, although related: the cream inside is more like confectioner's custard/crème pâtissière in terms of texture than fresh cream. The chocolate sauce is also darker and less sweet than that used by most other pudding shops in Istanbul. These factors mean that these are not "typical" profiteroles by general Western European or Istanbul standards, but in my opinion they are superior.

The best way to enjoy a portion of profiteroles is with a glass of lemonade, followed by tea to finish. It is self-service, card payments are accepted, and there are toilets downstairs. The business also sells other pastries, cakes and chocolates, but I cannot comment on these as I have only even eaten the signature profiteroles.

This is where the profiterole was invented. The same recipe over nearly 100 years. The taste is not heavy like ordinary patisseries/ other fabricated markets or shop’s products. They also wrote the story of this dish and prove it with registering for authenticity there. Old pastries use natural ingredients like real butter or real cacao, some also make their own chocolates. Their taste is different because they don’t use glucose syrup or other additives. Sweetness is not sharp like most desserts. They make and sell it in the same day so dough is not hard.

But be careful about the address and name. The original store is only one and it is in Beyoğlu taksim. It’s name doesn’t contain Beyoğlu.They don’t have any other shops. It is very cozy.

İşletme sahibi yorumlarda süt yerine su tadı vardı deniliyor, usta değişti eski tat to deniliyor hiç cevap yazmamışsınız. En azından kanıtlasanız?
