Ikicay tea factory

Follow the tours, when we arrived there are two girls are showing their dance to us as welcoming. Later they provide two cups of tea of them for us as a tea tasting, somehow people there speak no english, we were left behind, the guide is kind enough give us some explanation. They are not forcing us to buy, just walking around and get to know the products and we left.

We popped in as we were driving by. Mustafa gave us an excellent tour of the factory (in excellent English) and then we enjoyed the tea-tasting (four types of çay - all free!). We then watched some ladies do some local dances and then visited the shop.

Parking free, entrance free, tour free, çay free. Am excellent hour. (We did not eat - hence no stars for food).

It’s a place worth visiting, a tea factory and natural materials from the tea plant, they serve you two cups of tea (each made from a different tea plant) as a kind of hospitality, then they take you on a tour of a plant to see how the tea is extracted and all this accompanied by the kindness of the treatment. Highly recommend to visit and I will come back inshallah.🤩❤

Amazing hospitality and the responsible gentleman was so friendly and nice. They have
different types of original local tea. The prices are reasonable and they welcome you with their local dance. They have many organic teas.
I highly recommend visiting it.

People are amazing. They welcome you with HORON dance which is ethnic dance in Black Sea region in Turkey. They serve free black tea and also green tea. You can ask them to show you machineries that they are producing tea. In spring time because it is not active time for factory (tea leaves picked in summer), therefore their factory is not working now. At the end you can buy their pure natural tea products at reasonable prices.

An amazing service is present with 2 free tea cups and an interesting dance 😍💃🕺🏻.
Also there is a bazar containing many products which are made from tea with suitable prices 🌱 .

It was lovely to have the chance to see how tea is made and to try it in their facotry and to buy some tea for the family and friends.

We went to the tea factory as family on our own we were offered different types of tea to try for free and then was toured by Mustafa who clearly explained and showed us the process tea. Mustafa even organised the horon dance for us even though the dance happens when big groups come.

Such a fun welcome to guests with this Turkish dance 😊
