Taskonak Hotel

We came for a 2 night stay at this hotel and we had the best time ever at this hotel. It felt more like a bed and breakfast which was personal due to what I believe is family running it? The room we had was small but it was exactly what we needed it for and it ticked off the cave room we was searching for. The breakfast was beautiful and traditional. The views from the hotel are insane soooo beautiful! The two guys who work at reception were so helpful for organizing things for us including the balloon ride and taxis. Overall we were so happy with our stay and the location was fab!! Thanks so much

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. The experience was incredible to say the least. The hotel is very well located with a great view from the terrace. We had a minor issue with our room and they expediently changed our room and gave us a better room. The cave-themed rooms were great and clean. Finally, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything we needed. This is one of those hotels that you will remember as excellent. I will definitely stay with them once again if I visit Cappadocia again.

This hotel was by far our favorite stay in Turkey! The rooftop provided excellent views of goreme and the balloons in the morning. The staff became like family to us- we thank them for their kindness throughout our stay. A very small family hotel feel with excellent service.

This hotel was amazing, beyond our expectations. View from terrace is outstanding, especially in the morning with balloons. Breakfast is awesome. Staff is extremely helpful and nice. It was my best stay in Turkey.

Stayed here for three nights and have only positive things to say. Good location, short walk to the main strip, relatively close walk to the sunset point and open air museum. Everybody was so kind and helpful throughout our stay, especially Caner and Islam. The daily breakfast is really good and the room (and especially the bathroom) was so nice. Definitely recommend for anyone staying in Göreme.

Very well located. You could easily see the hot balloons from the terrasse. The staff is super friendly, gives you advice to visit around. They also offered to prepare us breakfast before the normal hours, as we had to take an early plane. I highly recommend to visit!

It was a lovely experience staying here, the staff was super friendly and accommodating and gave us lots of recommendations (shoutout to Islamullah!). The breakfast was great, the view was beautiful and everything was super clean. If you’re looking for a cozy and quaint place to stay then this is perfect!

Perfect location, near the centre of Goreme. The room we stayed in was lovely, clean and well serviced daily. The owners are so lovely and go above and beyond.
Breakfast was excellent and all staff members so friendly.
Rooftop views are excellent if you are lucky enough to see the balloons go up. ❤

Great experience in Göreme! This hotel is charming and elegant, and the cave room is a unique experience.
They also have a beautiful rooftop from where you can admire the sunset.
Special mention goes to the breakfast, it's great! And all the staff is very kind. Will recommend it for sure!

I have so much good things to say about Taskonak.

First, I commend how nice all staff; from the reception, cleaners and kitchen. Second, how well situated the place is; a walking distance to the center. Third, the place; room, common area, dining, terrace are all clean and spacious (shower works well- strong water pressure). And soo much more.

There’s one thing I would like to share because as a traveler/tourist, we all want to be somewhere safe, clean, and being helped in times of uncertainty. My husband and I had a problem with our flight to Cappadocia and had to rebook our flights for another day. I was extremely distressed because our itinerary was ruined. I kept in touch with Angela (owner of Taskonak) for her to be aware of the situation. Instead, she really did her best to provide me comfort with her words, and by upgrading our rooms for free just fo us to fully enjoy our stay in Cappadocia to make up with our lost day. When we arrived at her hotel, she even welcomed us with a bouquet of flowers prepared in our room (because it was our honeymoon).

The kindness/emotional touch, which are some of the basic ingredients of being human, that’s Angela. Her husband also talks to all guests almost everyday just to check on us if we are okay.

Everybody was kind, and that’s all we need right?

To a prosperous business. I wish to also spread the same kindness. Love lots!

This place was awesome! The staff, including the hotel puppy, Luffy, were among the most friendly and genuinely hospitable that I've ever met. I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I walked in to the moment my shuttle arrived to take me to the airport. Everything went smoothly during my stay, but I felt that should anything have gone wrong, the staff would have been ready and willing to help. As a solo female traveler, I felt very comfortable and very safe here.
Each room is different, but my room, (#1) was huge and nicely decorated with Turkish pottery and handmade rugs. Decorative niches carved into the stone walls are softly lit to display the pottery, and the wooden built-in wardobe was stocked with a bathrobe and slippers as well as a safe for valuables. The bathroom room was massive for a hotel and has a waterfall shower head as well as a deep two person tub, which was amazing for a soak after a long day of hiking.
The hotel has a nice little courtyard and several levels of terraces that are open to all guests. The breakfast terrace has great views- you can watch the sunrise and see the ballons float by while you eat. The higher terrace has cozy seating and cool evil eye decorations and is a great place to relax.
The hotel itself is about a ten minute walk from the city center, which I found to be perfect -close to everything but still quieter when you're trying to sleep. There are good restaurants and a little store close by so you don't have to walk into town to buy a bottle of water or grab a bite to eat if you don't want to.
There are steps to get into to the hotel reception area and to most of the rooms. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, but this seemed to be the case with many of the cave hotels in the area. For me, it wasn't an issue, but it might be a concern for those who use assistance for mobility.
Truly, if you don't have mobility concerns, I can't recommend this place enough! I had a wonderful experience here and will definitely stay again if I get a chance to go back to Goreme.

Great cozy hotel with amazing terrace. The room was kinda small but modern with everything we needed. The breakfast is also pretty good with tasty omelettes. The WiFi was fast and stable. The staff and mainly the owner are very kind and helpful.

Best place to stay in Cappadocia. The rooms are great, Evran the receptionist is friendly and helpful and the balcony is the perfect place to watch the balloons ascend every morning. Great varied breakfast. Really an amazing place to stay! This hotel is surrounded by Cappadocia’s famous fairy chimney houses 😍

Phenomenal hospitality! The couple that runs this hotel is so welcoming and friendly (no English). I spent an hour just sipping tea and attempting to chat over google translate with them :) they, as well as their son, would always help with anything I needed.

The room itself was perfect size for me, quaintly decorated, very comfortable. Breakfast with views was superb. You could overlook a good deal of the valley and see balloons floating. My only issue was that the internet did not seem to reach the room so it was hard to get any work done....

The staff is helpful and kind. The room was amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and you can see the amazing view of the hot-air balloons rising in the morning from the terrace, which is really early morning like morning morning, if you can wake up. To sum up, it was clean with amazing service and as for the cherry on top the breakfast was really tasty! Thank you again!

Very kind staff running this hotel, from the reception to the kitchen. The rooms are clean and well located to see the city as well as the surrounding valleys.
The view from the terrace will give u a good sight spot for the balloons take off.
The included breakfast is enough, even if not large.

This hotel has everything you need for a perfect stay in Cappadocia. Breakfast is delicious and the staff is always available for any kind of request. Can only recommend!
