Traveller's Cave Hotel

Great place to stay! The hotel has a large terrace with stunning views and props to take photos. The breakfast is very good as well. Our room was spacious, really felt like living in a cave! It was also very clean and well kept. Staff was kind and helpful as well. Close to the main strip of restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops in town as well.

The staff was very quick and helpful with coordinating a airport transfer at an affordable rate (to and from the hotel) as well. Thankful for an easy and affordable process.

The hotel does not have any elevators so just a heads up if you have difficulty with stairs you can probably ask for something close to reception. Otherwise the stairs are totally worth it! 10/10 cave experience.

It’s located a little high place so you can see the balloons beautifully from the rooftop.

And the breakfasts were one of the points I want to reffer to cuz to me, Turkish food was a little bit simple and had made me bored until I stayed here.

Excellent hotel and would highly recommend if visiting Cappadocia! It has possibly the best viewing terrace over the main town and for the balloons. Breakfast was fantastic and the room (we had rooms 15 & 13 on the lower level) was amazing! The only advice I would give is that if you have issues with steps ask for a room close to reception. Fantastic hotel!

We were there in Capadoccia for 2 nights staying at Traveller’s cave hotel primarily for the Balloon ride - so imagine our disappointment when that did not happen!
However, the experience at Travellers Cave made up for more than that! The rooms were comfortable, bathrooms hamam styled, beautiful breakfast spread and wonderful view points!
But it was the staff that made the experience so much better with special callouts to Hakan and Bulan. I had been troubling Hakan with tons of questions well before we had reached there and he answered each one patiently. Whilst there they helped make our reservations for the green tour and atv. They even went out of their way to drop us with our heavy bags to the bus station at 10pm in the night!
These interactions made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable!
Would definitely recommend everyone to stay here if in Goreme!

My wife and I stayed at Traveller’s cave hotel for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing!! The room itself was great, nice and spacious and had a hot tub inside! But what really sets this place apart is the service. I asked for a specific room and they gave me the exact room. I forgot my adapter and the receptionist let me borrow one for the duration of the stay. I asked for our room to be cleaned at a specific time and they did it, and they also prepped our bed with flowers and a towel arrangement.
I booked the hot air balloon ride, horse back riding, and red tour through the hotel and it was seamless. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us back. The free breakfast buffet was wonderful, they had so much selection. Traveller’s is located at the top of Goreme so they have the best view of the balloons by far, and they definitely have the best service. Thank you so much to Unal and the crew for always looking after us! Would highly highly recommend!

Great location at the end of the Main Street, there are two entrances one at the bottom & one up at the top higher up. There are lots of steps, but good to get your steps in! The view at the top is great. Sadly there were no balloons on either day we went, however, the hospitality of the hotel staff was great. The breakfast was a good spread but not to our taste. We couldn’t find the hotel so the manager came out to find us. The bed was incredibly comfortable, lots of chill out spaces & lovely aesthetic to hang out in. Perfectly suited two 20-something travellers.

Our family loved their stay at the traveller Cave! The location was central to the buzz of the city and the views were amazing! Breakfast was yummy😋, and the hosts were all so helpful and friendly. Recommend booking any tours from them directly.

Please note: there are two entrances one at the bottom & one up at the top. If you are situated at the bottom, then you have quite a few steps to walk through to get to reception or the breakfast area. So would only recommend this hotel it you are fit and healthy. The view at the top is amazing with all the balloons appearing after 5am.
We got the junior suite, which is located at the top, which consisted of a jacuzzi and fire place. Room was clean and staff here were ever so kind.

The hotel has a shortcut to the center. The location is great. The room is very clean. The view at the rooftop is gorgeous.

‘Unnar’ (apologies if I spelled your name incorrectly), the receptionist, is very helpful, professional, and nice. He helped us carry our luggage downstairs (which was very heavy!) when we left.

Would definitely come back again if we ever come to Cappadocia again.

The room we rented was so much better than the pictures, every common part was simple and beautifull, great view, nice bar, great coffee, I got no complaints

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Travellers Cave Hotel. The Travellers Cave Hotel being one of the high located accommodations on Goreme has Panaromic views of the township and therfore beautiful views of the balloons rising early in the morning. Almost every room has its own beautifully landscaped courtyard. We stayed in room 10 which was on the upperside of the hotel close to reception, the dining are and the shared terraces but then just further away from the township.

The room was good, bathroom was large and the service was great. I especially liked the rainfall shower head in the bathroom. Room service was good with a clean and a towel change every morning that we were there. The breakfast buffet spread was large. The staff were all friendly. A special shout out to Ali at reception who was especially helpful and a wonderful asset to the business.

The hotel is sort of at the outskirts of the Goreme, at an upper vantage point and is multi storied so not so accessible for the elderly and physically challenged. One part of our group were at the lower level and though it was easy for them to get into town, they had to hike up the levels to get to the top for breakfast, reception etc. And while we were at the top and it was easy getting to the top terraces, it was a short hike getting to the bottom into town.

We also booked a private Red Tour with Travellers Cave with their private driver at some 120Euro for our 6 person group. While the driver was very thoughtful, arranging a stop at the local mosque in Urgup (which turned out to be 800 years old) just in time for Zuhr, he was very reluctant to give us any advice or tips on the places we visited. For example, he wouldn't say what to look for in Imagination valley whereas one woukd expect a local to be able to say look for these top 5 things.

Another point to note is that this hotel is pet friendly and can have dogs roaming around particularly around the top terraces and dining areas

One of the most beautiful place to stay in Cappadocia. The hotel vibes are super cool lots of hangout places. They have managed to create some nice view points where you can take pictures with the valley and balloons. Great staff. Here you will be greeted by beautiful and friendly puppies and cats. They also have a restraunt which is way better and cheap than the expensive ones at the city center.

Very friendly staff. We booked a red tour with them. I later compared their excursion prices with the local travel agencies and their prices were about the same. This hotel is situated at a fairly high elevation compared to the rest of Gorome town. As a result, it has really amazing views of the town from several of its terraces. The rooms we booked had breakfast included, which was a buffet with a lot of tasty options. All in all, I had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

Very nice hotel. It located at the most highest point, so we can enjoy view of Goreme town and the view of balloons in the morning. Most of staffs are nice, helpful. The owner help us to unfreeze the car. But there are some staffs that quite cold and just give you standard service. Anyway I think this place give me the precious moments in Cappadocia. As we stayed on New year day, they held a new year party that was nice and there were fireworks at midnight in Goreme town. Yes, you can enjoy the fireworks from this hotel.

We felt very good, very friendly staff, cleanliness and comfort, very large room, as well as the bathroom. I stayed in room 2 right next to the front desk. Very good food, buffet style, with all Turkish specialties. The landscape is wonderful from the hotel terrace, due to the position.
Don't miss the balloon ride and the canyon visit. There are organized excursions from the hotel.

The hotel deserves more than 5 stars. The rooms were clean, amazing views, great location, flavourful breakfast, and the staff were very helpful (helped us book tours for good prices, get around the city, and carry our bags). Hakan in particular was great and was always happy to answer our questions and offer advice as were all the people working the counter and kitchen. The owners were also a wonderful and welcoming family.

Excellent excellent excellent. First I would like to just say thank you so very much to all the staff. Everyone was so kind, hospitable, and professional and I am very grateful for the care I received here. The hotel itself is SO clean, has hot running water, toiletries, wifi, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. They offer laundry service for an affordable price and they clean the room daily and bring packaged towels and toiletries fresh everyday. The views from this hotel are spectacular. I enjoyed watching the balloons in the morning and having hookah and tea at night. Also the morning breakfast on terrace is excellent. The fireplace in the room is also charming and perfect way to end the night. A perfect stay and I will most certainly stay here when I return. Thank you all, God bless and take care!!!

The hotel is simply amazing with a magnificent view ! Gin and her staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Gin, she is a such sweet lady with a big heart. ❤she went above and beyond to make sure I have a pleasant experience. I would give them 10 stars 🥰 for hospitality, cleanness, and location!!

Wonderful, helpful, friendly staff and great food! Our room was gorgeous - like something out of a movie!! The views, atmosphere, fire pit were absolutely beautiful here! I love animals so seeing them roam free and happy warmed my heart! I would definitely stay here again, no question about it :)
