We loved how attentive the staff was and the fact that being a family business showed up. The mezze platter was one of the best we have had in turkey so far. We also ordered manti to try it and we liked it a lot. We also tried aside for dessert for the first time and it was surprisingly good!

Exceeded expectations - which were high to begin with but we were blown away! The ottoman lamb, testi kebab & dolmas were all insanely good!!! We wished we were staying longer to come back for dinner. Highly recommend!

Must visit restaurant in cappadocia. Very good food. Prices are somehow good for what you get. Very friendly people and cozy environment. We just loved the whole experience from start to finish. Recommend. Must visit! We paid around 60$ for 2 people.

It was one of the best restaurants i visited in kapadokya! I loved the atmosphere of the place although it doesn't have any view but the atmosphere is traditional and beautiful, and the people were so kind, about the food it was good and delicious especially the appetisers plate i totally recommend it !

We absolutely loved the pottery chicken and beef kebab, although personally I loved the beef more. Bread, salad and lentil soup were great too!

I’ve tried pottery kebab at several places before i came here, i have to say this place has the best pottery kebab in Cappadocia. The meat was very tender and flavourful. The portion was enough for 2 people. The meze plate was also delicious . We finished everything that was on the table. For me the price was reasonable. You can’t expect good delicious food comes with a cheap price.

Great atmosphere, and very good food. Seating is on the floor, with pillows and very comfortable arrangements. The testi kebabs were very good, and so tender. Highly recommend :)

Very authentic restaurant and food, the best testi (pottery) kebap we had in turkey. A must in Göreme!

We tried this based on a Lonely Planet review. It was nearly impossible to find parking but that just because town is crazy. The restaurant offered a nice break from the hot temps. We just ordered some dishes and salads to share for family of four. I didn’t think we ordered too much but had more than enough tasty food. Goat cheese salad was very good and the Dibek pastry too. You need to take off shoes and sit on floor, but only a downside if it’s hard on your legs and back. Enjoy!

Very tasty dishes.
The place itself is full of history and the restaurant setup gave us the anatolian vibe we were looking for.
For the pottery kebab we made a reservation 4 hours earlier. It was delicious!

This place is delicious!

Even if it’s a little pricier than other restaurants, you can feel the difference in the dishes. For example the pottery kebab is very delicious and you can definitely spot the difference. (You should make a reservation of this dish beforehand).

The place is very cultural and it takes you back to their history.

The house wine is very tasty and they serve it in a very interesting clay pitch.

100% recommended!

Friendly, prompt service. We both wanted the pottery kebab and they were able to accommodate us. It was delicious! Try their homemade red wine — it’s great! Would recommend. Lovely cozy ambience with traditional Turkish seating (cushions low to the floor).

A great restaurant to experience traditional Turkish food and ambience.

We were a group of 16 people and enjoyed pretty fast service. If you wonder what to order, the waiters will provide helpful tips.

I can highly recommend the Dibek pastry (börek). The lentils soup is excellent, as expected. There is pottery kebap that needs to be ordered at least 2-3 hours in advance.

The Local Taxi man recommended this place to us after visiting the Imagination Valley. It’s very close to the bus station and it’s actually quite hidden.

We never would’ve visited if it wasn’t for him. We highly recommend this place as it’s beautiful on the ground and rooftop terrace floor. Service is very good, food was delicious, and most importantly, we enjoyed our time here.

This restaurant was highly recommend for the pottery kabab by our hotel (Pashahan hotel). I got the beef pottery kabab and I was not disappointed, the beef was cooked perfectly. My husband got the beef ribs, it was cooked the same, to PERFECTION! The beef was so tender. They also served us shepherds salad and pickled vegetables. My husband had the pottery kabab at another restaurant a couple days before coming here... THIS ONE WAS HANDS DOWN 100% better.

One of the finest restaurants in Cappadocia to try out the local cuisine in style !! The food and ambience it’s are amazing and perfectly blends with the locality, carpet on the floor and with low tables you Njoy the meal like a true local sitting down. A bit pricey compared to ordinary restaurants around but definitely worth visiting when in the city

Delicious Tasti Kebab in a very authentic atmosphere. Prices are a bit higher than elsewhere, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for!! I'd also recommend the Mezze platter, yummy!!

One of the best meals I had in Cappadocia! The meatball stew dish was generous, hearty and savory (I highly recommend dipping/soaking the free bread into the broth mmmm). My partner had the beef sac tava which was not bad too They are very generous with the free (?) side dishes - pickled jalapenos (a great spicy kick), red cabbage and cucumber with white cabbage. Finished off the meal with the strong cup of Turkish coffee with sugar 😌 perfect. I only wish my stomach had more space.

Be warned, this restaurant is so good that anything else you visit in the area will be pale in comparison.

I was fortunate to visit this place a number of times during my stay in Cappadocia. I must admit, this is the kind of place where everything is so good that any visit to any other restaurant in the area is a downgrade in terms of food, service, and overall quality. If it was up to me I would just eat every restaurant meal at Dibek instead of bothering with any other option.

Literally, everything was top-notch. Unfortunately, my group was of the more adventurous bunch, and so it was that we would go other places to dine. In one of the places we went to, the waiters would constantly forget half of the items we ordered. That does not happen at Dibek. Another place we went to, the waiter did not believe me when I ordered two main dishes for myself. That would not happen at Dibek. And a third-place we went to, I mostly communicated in innovative sign language because 0% of the staff knew anything but Arabic or Turkish, yet something else that does not happen at Dibek. Oh how I longed back to Dibek, for every new place we discovered I realised how great Dibek was!

In that sense, I am willing to compare Dibek to Hotel California (although I am fully aware that the lyrics in that song play on a different metaphorical line than this comparison). At Dibek you can check out any time you want, but (mentally) you can never leave.

By far the best Turkish restaurant in Goreme. Comfy shoeless floor seating surrounded by fluffy pillows awaits you. This *is the place* to have Testi, kabob stew in a clay pot. We had beef and chicken and they were both fabulous. The house red wine is also excellent. It also got me nice and loopy. The hospitality was superb.
