Capiedra Hotel

We stayed here with our two children and I can really recommend this place for families. The rooms are clean and spacious and have good facililites. You can close the door between the two bedrooms, which is really convenient when travelling with young children. The breakfast is also great quality: fresh and delicious.

I also really must mention how dedicated the staff is. This is clearly a hotel run with love and care, and everybody is always greeting you with a smile, which really gives the place a special feel. You feel truly welcome. Highly recommended!

Had the most fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff are incredible and couldn’t be more friendly. The location is ideal, the town it’s in is beautiful and peaceful and a decent distance from Goreme, a short taxi ride or a very nice (but hilly) walk. The rooms are perfect, very clean and have everything you need, including a wonderful bathroom. The breakfast is incredible, really fresh food and slightly different each day. They made us feel incredibly welcome and we would definitely recommend and come again! Thank you so much for making our trip to Cappadocia so special

I loved everything about this place!! We were made to feel incredibly welcome and greeted everyday with kindness. The rooms were clean and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was an experience in itself, the perfect start to everyday with a friendly greeting and special new treat to try, it was the perfect way to wake up! They were helpful in organising anything we needed. It was in a beautiful town near the Uçhisar castle. The town was full of kind and friendly people. It was a nice walk past a beautiful view to Goreme. I would come back just to stay here 😊💛 thank you for making it so special

Mehmet, mom and Savant are just so fantastic providing 5-stars service all around and I so highly recommend staying at the Capiedra Hotel. The hotel is centrally located and is just 5 mins walk to the Uchisar Castle. You can watch the hot air balloon behind the castle with a fabulous view. Mehmet is also a tour guide, a cab driver and the hotel owner. We enlisted all his 3 services. We did the Green and Red tour with him, and he provided the cab service to the airport as well. It was all so convenient! Mehmet speaks excellent English, very professional, extremely responsive, honest and is very good natured. The breakfast was excellent with several homecooked items. We stayed there for 5 nights and the main entrees were varied for all those 5 days! You are treated like a family when you stay at the Capiedra hotel. I would recommend all my friends to stay at Capiedra if they are visiting Cappadocia! You will leave with such beautiful and lasting memories!

We had a wonderful time at Capiedra Hotel. A beautiful and calm hotel in the middle of Uchisar. The team was amazing, very kind and of great help when we needed something. The room was clean and very confortable. Last but not least, the breakfast was delicious. I strongly recommend !

Stayed for one night. We got a very warm welcome and got great service. It's family-run and the love and care put into the place really shows. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely hotel with a lot of cultural charm to it. The owners are very kind and helpful. The room we choose is very spacious. One large bed and two smaller beds, the washroom is also spacious. Very clean room, beds are comfortable. It's very foggy and rainy, so we haven't yet enjoyed the balloon view. But they have a nice viewing area where you should be able to see the balloons take off. Breakfast was also delicious.

Could not recommend highly enough. The hospitality my mate and I received was second to none! We have both done extensive travel and both agreed we have rarely if ever been treated in such a meaner. The host helped us with all our tour bookings including hot air ballooning and other local sites. He even went as far as to help us book flights and busses to northern Iraq. Very helpful.
The room was very nice, no complaints there.
Also the breakfast that was included was very nice. I would say a Turkish breakfast with a western twist. Photo below.

A family-owned hotel that provides a unique experience of living in a Turkish house while feeling like a 5-star hotel. The service is quick and responsive. Breakfast is home-made; the owner's mother cooks it every day and they use eggs from their own chicken. It was easy to connect with the owner and build a friendship. He was extremely helpful in finding tours and local experiences.

The owner put his heart and love in this hotel. He welcomed us with good prepared information that helped us a lot.

The building is very clean, pretty and cozy. Our room had a good quality bed, as well as air conditioner and fridge, which worked very well.

The breakfast was great, mixed salty and sweet stuffs, freshly made by the mom of the owner.

The environment of the hotel is very clean and not dusty, which is important.

General we had a good time there!

Mehmet and the rest of the staff were so wonderful! They helped us with booking airport transfers, green/red line your and rescheduled our hot air balloon experience 3 times (cancelled due to weather). He worked it out so we had private transfer from the hot air balloons to the airport so we were able to sneak it in before our flight out. Very clean rooms and great free brekky! He gave us recommendations for food each night and even picked dropped us off/picked us up when it was raining for dinner. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful hotel run by a wonderful, kind family! The hotel itself is located in a fantastic spot in Uchisar, very close to the bus station and town centre. The hotel is clean, modern, well decorated and in a lovely quiet street. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, home cooked food, and changed each day to give variety. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and it was probably my favourite breakfast ever served at a hotel! We felt so at home at the Capiedra hotel, it was without a doubt our favourite stay on our Turkey trip! Thank you so much to Semra, Mehmet, Savas for being so accommodating and welcoming during our stay. We are sad to be leaving but hope to stay again with you one day if we return to Capadocia!

I have a wonderful stay here. It's really an excitable solo traveling as far as to Kapadokya for the first time. I already have plane tickets and a place to stay overnight. I only have 3 days and 2 nights. I knew I wanted to experience a hot air balloon ride and spend time traveling around Kapadokya, but I didn't know how. Fortunately, the hotel provides everything. The owner booked a hot air balloon for me and also a 1 day group tour. The hotel's position is also not far from the main tourist attractions of Kapadokya and also urban areas. And the best part is, I love their breakfast made by the mother of the owner. Wish I could spend much longer and have more breakfast. I came in the mid-Oct 2023, so it's already cold in Kapadokya till 6°c in the morning. But fortunately the hot water worked well. Just need to wait a few minutes until the hot water really came out. One note though, I wish they could provide more blankets. But other than that, it's a wonderful stay here. I believe, if you stay here, you will also experience the same thing as I was.

Beautiful hotel highly recommended. The host was very accomadating from the time we were picked up at the airport. Great friendly staff very attentive to detail. Look forward to staying at this hotel again. Breakfast was also really nice very refreshing. Made us feel like extending our stay!

Mehmet was our hotel and tours organiser. His mother and his family made the stay so unforgettable and comfortable.

Walking distance to the main restaurants and to the main attraction - the Uchisar castle.

Would highly recommend booking tours through him as well, as it was so seamless and very well priced.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Super hospitality staff, nice decorated interior of the hotel, tasty and hearty breakfast. Located 5 min by walk to the Uçhisar castle where you can catch picturesque sunset and 10 min by car from Göreme , where you can watch ballon’s flight. Also staff can help you with booking balloon flight.

My parents were there and they loved every bit of the hotel. Breakfast was awesome! It was made by mother of the owner. The hotel is in city center but is really quiet. They will come back if they ever have the opportunity :) greetings for the owners and family friend who drives taxi :)

A very warm welcome was given to us and the service only continued to get better and better! We are motorcyclists and the owner Mehmet immediately offered his garden to park our bikes! The breakfast was lipsmacklingly delicious it is made by Mehmet's mother. The room was clean and comfortable. I think I will remember the warmth and hospitality of the lovely people at this quaint hotel for a very long time. The location is great and the view from the balcony was bombastic! I highly recommend it!

This lace was a warm welcome. I am solo traveling and they helped me with everything I needed during my stay. They go out of their way to make you feel at home! I highly recommend staying here. The location is great and close to everything you might need or want to do during your travels.

Amazing place, amazing location and amazing people! I messaged them on what’s app and they arranged all my tours and airport transfer. Not to mention the rooms were spotless, modern and had fun Turkish decor! The breakfast they served in the morning was nothing short of amazing as well, each guest getting a huge platter of traditional Turkish style breakfast. You need to stay here!
