Old Cappadocia

Best choice out here in Goreme! We were greeted by the chef and he was so nice and welcoming! Service was great and fast! We tried some other restaurants in the area but none of them were as good as this one! Food was amazing! All in all I highly recommend this restaurant! In terms of prices, it’s pretty much the same as other restaurants or even less expensive.

It's my first meal in Cappadocia, which is so wonderful. I caught both taste and fun. You can't miss any delicious food in a nice place. I ate kebab and chicken in a jar. If you come to Kapidocia, I pray that you will go there. Have a happy trip.

I arrived in Cappadocia late in the afternoon and this was my first meal in the city. It did not disappoint one bit. I got the Chicken Pottery Kebab and I've never experienced a presentation like that (image and video attached).

Muhammed was great!! He even brought me tea at the end of my meal. The entire staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Wanted to try the Pottery Kebab and tried Old Cappadocia. One of the best food decisions I made in Turkiye! The presentation was superb and the lamb kebab was tender and full of flavour. An absolute delight. Staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

It's our first time in cappadocia and visited Old Cappadocia restaurant, oof, their food and service is amazing, we thank you Muhammad for his excellent service and good smile,, make sure to try their turkish coffee and testi kebab,, you'll not regret it.

I thought it would be difficult to find good food in Goreme, but this was very good! The typical turkish dishes. Not a big menu, but more than enough! Good location and very cozy interior. Very friendly staff. We come again for sure

Amazing food, quantity is great and taste is amazing! One of the best restaurants around the city centre. 2 of us had ordered wraps and Pizza, quantity was so much that we couldn't complete, that said the prices were very reasonable. Must visit for the experience of taste!

Had a great meal here. Very generous portion of starter was served while waiting for the main course. The chicken pottery was very well marinated and I loved it being served hot 🔥 it was autumn and the night can be cold so that meal just brought warmth to me immediately.

Amazing food! Love that they brought us some snacks before the food since we were very hungry! They had local beer. Super clean. Really nice places for a lunch

We really enjoyed dinner at this place. The food was good, the way they serve some meals is really cool (they served us one meal in a clay pot on fire).

very nice restaurant! It is a relaxing place for good dinner at fair prices. I had the grilled vegetable plate and enjoyed it. The ice cream served seems like it was artificial store bought, so the dessert was a bit underwhelming, but the hospitality made up for that and the restaurant was an overall good experience. The bread is free, hot, and delicious!

I can't say enough positive things about this place. The food, service, atmosphere, and price point can't be beat! I stayed in Cappadocia for three days and my biggest regret is not coming to this establishment more often!

The restaurant is smoke free which is great for anyone with respiratory issues. The owner is very kind, humble, and well-versed with food allergies.

I highly recommend making a stop at this restaurant. Their lamb shank is the best I've ever had in my life.

An excellent restaurant with delicious traditional food, good ambience and friendly English speaking staff.

The service was pretty fast and we were quite happy with the overall experience. Apart from the great food, there is free hot bread with oil and spices, served in the beginning.

The restaurant is opposite a mosque, so you may hear the call to prayer, depending on the time of your visit.

Great value, classy, perfect atmosphere and beautiful interior. Amazing service, big portions, delicious, and reasonably priced relative to other places. Turkish ravioli was delicious.

After your hot air balloon trip or watching, this is a must try restaurant here in Goreme. Perfect for lunch or dinner meals. I ordered Beef Kebab which is perfect to satisfy my meat cravings. My wife orded Mixed Kebab which is what we would recommend. The appetizer, which is the bread with two sides of tomato paste and tzaziki was amazing. A great way to start a delicious and sumptuous meal.

This place was the best restaurant we tried in Cappadocia.
It was recommended by our Hotel's owner (local recommendations are always the best !!).
The food was amazing. So delicious, warm and the meat was super soft and yummy. I highly recommend lamb meat !!
The staff were really helpful and kind and they offered us warm bread with some appetisers.

Great restaurant. We were received by Chef Berkan, and we chose a beef burger and a chicken sandwich, and it was served with fries. The place is intimate and warm, the food is delicious, and I liked the place

Wonderful ambience and exceptionally clean restaurant. Was football season and live matches were aired on the television at the restaurant. Owner Ali was extremely friendly and could see he was there to serve with utmost professionalism.

The wraps and kunefe were exceptionally well done. Great place for a romantic night out with your spouse. As it was our last day in Cappadocia, our main regret was we did not try the restaurant earlier.
