WOW!

Believe the positive reviews, the food is simply sensational. I have been searching for a Turkish restaurant to match Ottoman Cuisine in Sydney & Canberra, Australia and have finally found one.

We were a party of 8 and we demolished 6 divine dips, 6 mains, and 4 desserts.

As the air balloons were not available, now I have two reasons to return.

We were here visiting the restaurant. The food and ambience is very good. The staff are very friendly and the food is very well presented and delicious!!
The restaurant is located a bit of the main road but it is without a doubt one of the best food in Uchisar. The prices are also reasonable so it is a must try !
Additional bonus they let you experience breaking the pottery kebab yourself!

Great food and nice service. We have pottery kebab (Testi Kebabı) and meatball in terracotta (Kiremitte Köfte) both meal was delicious.

We visited the restaurant for my birthday dinner and we were swept off our feet with the welcome, the service, the food and the graciousness of our hosts. As soon as my wife advised the manager it was my birthday, he was already thinking of a dessert and a small cake candle. We started off with some mezes of babaganoush, cacik and Muhammara, bread, a special olive oil mixed with pomegranate juice and a lentil salad with special spices. To be clear, we would have been satisfied with this alone, but we had to have warm hummus casserole and sigara boregi as well before tackling the main dishes. These were lamb shish pan and beef in “testi” clay pot, slow cooked for 8 hours - we were full but could not resist.
As a final touch I was given a birthday dessert with warm dates with almonds and a date syrup with some ice cream….amazing.

I forgot to mention the Turkish white wine - k series - lovely

Everything we ate was just amazing, definitely our favorite restaurant in the area and well worth visiting. We tried diahes we haven't tried before and so tasty.

The food here is so good that we went back again the following night. The pottery kebab reminded me of home, it gave me nostalgia for the stewed beef my grandmother and mother used to make. The shepherds salad with pomegranate dressing was perfectly tangy and sweet and fresh. The chicken sheet pan was delicious. The pumpkin pasta was novel and inspiring! Everything on their menu with eggplant is a hit. My favourite thing of all though was the stewed apricots for desert, it brought tears to my eyes. I’m glad we ate there twice it was worth having our favourites again and trying new things from their menu!! I highly highly recommend. It was honestly, and I mean honestly, the best meal we’ve had in Turkey over the last two weeks.

We went to this restaurant and enjoyed it so much we went back a second time. The staff were great, polite and our waiter spoke English, and the menu available was in Turkish and English. The restaurant itself is cosy and decorated creatively.

Now for the food. Every dish we tried was amazing. We travelled around Turkey for two weeks and this was our absolute favourite restaurant. Their cold and hot appetisers were fresh and full of flavour, and their mains were just as tasty. Dishes were well presented and came quite quickly. For dessert we had their baklava, which was super tasty too.

As for the prices, for the quality of the food you receive you cannot fault it. It's very reasonably priced for the quality you get (we have had meals for similar or higher prices which were not even close to as good as this).

If you want a restaurant that is reasonably priced and provides great food consistently, then we would recommend this restaurant.

extraordinary food and service. We are the only guests that check in and the host allow us to check out later as we had a early wake up for hot air balloon. Despite we being the only guests, we get a full breakfast cooked when we are there and the food, fabulous.! The service is also top notch. It is the best meal we had throughout eight days in Turkey, not mentioning how helpful the host is when we need to cancel a booking of show when one of us get injured.

We've been the restaurant not hotel. We were there as 4 people for launch and ate testi kebab, Turkish gravioli, and sarma. All of them were special. I can't say that the testi kabab is an amazing dish, but it is just my personal view. The ambience and service were nice.

Best restaurant in cappadocia! The clay pot kebap is the best I’ve had so far in turkey. The grilled meatballs were excellent, the ravioli was delicious and the baked hummus is out of this world! Would definitely recommend!!

Best pottery kebab in Uchisar! We are here for two meals in a row!! 😊 our hotel manager recommended this place and we’re pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend eating here.

We visited Salki Konak restaurant twice, as the first experience was not up to their own expectations. The offer to return was accepted as the owner and staff were humble and beyond welcoming. The second experience was delicious and I highly recommend visiting if you are in Uchisar. The pumpkin pasta is earthy and has the feeling of being homemade while all of the mezze are fresh and full flavor. You have to try the apricot dessert!

On our 4 days trip to Cappadocia we enjoyed this place most of all. It’s a family business and you feel the passion of the team. Dishes were excellent and waiter was friendly and attentive. Would immediately return!

Food was simply amazing - everything fresh and home made, perfectly spiced, full of flavours. The service was very attentive and friendly, the owner is a super nice guy and helped us a lot with providing a lot of great tips for our trip ahead. A complete experience of great food and hospitality!!!

Didn't stay here, but ate breakfast at the restaurant. One of the best breakfasts we have had in Turkey! Highly recommend this place for thier breakfast. Excellent service, and everything was prepared fresh!!

The food is absolutely amazing! Everything we had was delicious. Just ask for whatever they recommend and you will love it. We had the potted beef, the rolled pastry, and the apricot dessert. Very reasonable price for a lot of food! We're going back tomorrow.
