Hotel Lago Di Salda

We stayed here off season, so the hotel was super quiet. Oscar and the front desk man were very welcoming and helpful with details about the fascinating lake and surrounding attractions, ruins, restaurants, etc. Oscar even arranged for a chef and private dining one evening, which was both generous and romantic. The rooms are nicely appointed, and ours had a lovely view of the lake. Lots of amenities are available for hose who stay in the high season, including pools, a bar and lounge, sauna, etc. really a lovely place to stay.

Took a transit stop at this hotel as we were lost around the lake, and super helpful owner, Oscar, welcomed us just as if we were guests of his hotel.

He gave us directions and a map around the lake, also allowed us to take a walk near the beach at his hotel.

The hotel has an old-world charm and I’d imagine is a great place to stay and be rejuvenated. Quiet location with awesome views of lake salda.

Highly recommend anyone to stay in this hotel!

It's beautiful nice hotel. Service is perfect. We arrived deep night, we were tied and exhausted and starved. Man on the reception was so kind that phoned to the nearest restaurant and they cooked very delicious food for us only. We were happy. Beautiful nature, beautiful place with good service that's all you need for good vacation.

On my way out, I was inquiring about how to get to my next destination and Oscar the owner of the hotel went above and beyond to help me.
He was driving into town and offered to drop me off at the bus station. Not only did he drop me off, but he also called ahead to find out what time the bus leaves, took me there, waited for me to get the ticket, and even asked the bus driver to help me with getting to the right spot to get to my next bus.

Now this is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ treatment of guests.

On the way to the park, I stopped at this hotel to drink and ask help. The lady and his son gave me a great help by calling a taxi! Nice people :)

great hotel just a 1 minute walk away from the lake, very quiet and has a beautiful view of the lake, surrounding is well taken care of and all green, the interior is a little bit outdated but it gives you a feeling like time traveling to the 90s, bathrooms were renewed and all areas were clean, breakfast was very nice and was more than enough for me, you have preset menu selections including meat, meatballs and chicken for dinner, liqoures are served here, you can have decent dinner with the view of the lake and have a nice wine, owners and crew were very helpfull and always had a smile on their face, definetly recommended

I highly recommend this place. We stayed at this place for one night during snowy weather. The owner provided us with an awesome lake view room for a lower price.
We liked the fireplace in the American bar and the Turkish home atmosphere.
The owner and the personnel helped us to clean the car from snow in the morning and cleared the way out.

I would definitely visit this place again, hopefully in summer.

Good stopover hotel in a great location on the shore of the lake. Tasty food and friendly, welcoming service. Rooms are basic but this matches the class of the hotel. Overall we had a nice stay.

We a bot tired from crowds in big hotels, so this two days was good because we thought that we are staying there alone.
Menu is good, but after 3-4 days you it will be a bit boring to eatvthe same.
Personal is very friendly.

I'm travelling so only stayed the night but was sorely tempted to stay two nights. The location is remote the nearest town being 4km away. However the service, food and room were great. With a pool, outside bar and access to the lakes healing mud and fresh water.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel in October, 2016 and were the only guests in residence. It was lovely, and the staff was very accommodating. We fell in love with a puppy at Sami's Pide on the west shore of the lake. We've had him for almost four years now.

My daughter and I stayed in the hotel last summer and also had a wonderful time. The single student rooms are small, but my daughter was visiting during Bayram, so we couldn't reserve double rooms with the lake view. It didn't matter too much. Air-conditioning is not needed in this mountainous region of Turkey... not even in August.

The food is very good, the lake is surreal, and there are several outstanding archaeological sites in the region.

My only disappointment is that the hotel doesn't accept dogs, so my wife and I can't easily return for a visit. But with two Kangals in residence, I understand. :o)

I honestly can't understand some of the negative reviews here. Some people!!!

We stopped at Lake Salda for a night and looked up this hotel on Google Maps. It was a nice clean hotel on a hill overlooking the lake. Building is a bit dated but clean rooms

We arrived in the late evening without a reservation, on the first night of Ramadan, and after the staff had gone for the evening - basically, the hotel was closed, but the owner welcomed us, made up a room for us, and even arranged for a friend of his at a local restaurant to open just for us and give us a delicious dinner. Exceptional hotelier: thank you for your kindness and hospitality!

Lovely hotel in peaceful setting, great for a stopover, but not a lot to do in the area, apart from the scenery! Room very comfortable, breakfast excellent and staff friendly and helpful! Nice place!

The owner was super nice, he saw us standing on the road and catching a ride to Yesilova and he took us directly to Yesilova bus station. Thank You! ❤
