Aphrodisias Amphitheatre

Not as big as other ancient theatres, but I like how quiet it is with no one around. It also looks more untouched with all the tall weeds growing in the middle which I like more than the visibly restored theatres.

This place is very big and beautiful! Everything has been very well preserved, whether it is the theater, the stadium or the pool! Without doubt one of the most beautiful ancient sites of Turkey with Ephesus in Selcuk

Amazing place

Full of history

İyi korunmuş, ayağa kaldırılmış bir tiyatro. Detayları izlemek güzel. Yapının her detayını incelemek için fırsat var. Sorumsuz olarak tüm alan ziyaret edilebiliyor. Üst kısmına çıktığınızda arkaik höyüğüde görmüş oluyorsunuz, havuz ve diğer mekanlarda tiyatronun üst kısmından görülebilir.

Girişteki küçük meydancığın bitiminde yol ikiye ayrılıyor. Soldan giderseniz önce solunuza bakın. Çıplak sütunlar tek başlarına göğü taşırcasına dururlarken kemerli duvar benzeri yapılarsa onların yakınlarında durmakta. Buradan devam edip hafif bir bayırı çıkarak antik tiyatroya ulaşıyorsunuz. Yaklaşık 7000 kişilik bir kapasitesi var. Sağlamca sayılır ama Milet'teki tiyatrodan sonra pek göz kamaştırmıyor.

Das Theater von Aphrodisias ist anders als viele andere Theater antiker Stätte. Zum einen ist der Eingang direkt über die Bühne, zum anderen ist es sehr zentral in der Stadt und nicht außerhalb. Außerdem gibt es einen besonderen Sitzplatz im Theater der direkt ins Auge sticht. Daneben die Sitzplätze der oberen Schicht, erkennbar über die Löwenpfoten.

Die Statuen im Museum sind super erhalten und das Stadium ist ein mega Hingucker. Ein Ausflug hier her lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!
