I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel with a breathtaking view. Our room overlooked both the lake and the mosque.. I absolutely loved it! This incredible place makes you feel at peace and relaxed.

The location is unbeatable, the hotel is right in front of the lake, very close to bus and taxi stations, and near an exchange office. There are also grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The room was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Mrs. Nuran and her colleague were very nice, helpful, and responsive, always ready to assist and provide recommendations to help us explore this amazing place and making us feel right at home. I can't wait to return for another stay!

I got the balcony room and let me tell you the view of the lake and the mosque, is beyond astonishing. the lake and the mosque. The room however, is ok but not suitable for tall people. Farther more, the hostess Nora is the most honest, friendly, and hospitable person there is.

Stayed here for one night as travelling through. Was offered a choice of 2 rooms and taken to see them, very good customer service. I chose the top room that is like an attic style room and it was amazing. Had a skylight window and a balcony with fantastic views across the lake. Bed was comfortable. Motel is very clean and they make good coffee too. The staff were really lovely, recommend for good stay.

We had a wonderful time in this place during the winter of 2014. There were no issues with drug addicts or football hooligans, and we truly appreciated the tranquil environment, along with the delicious köfte. And here's a peculiar anecdote: we stumbled upon a group of talking snowmen engaged in a lively debate about the best technique for building igloos. Their witty banter and frosty wisdom added an unexpected touch of magic to our holiday!

Astonishing View and Best Service in Uzungol

Overall impression and Experience: (5/5) EXCELLENT
It was our first time in Uzungol and first time at Onal Motel. The motel is a family owned four-star category accommodation. It is located opposite to the popular lake of Uzungol and the main mosque. It is surrounded by shops and restaurant. It has a free self-parking area which is located on the backside of the hotel.
We booked an apartment with Lake View (Number: 205) which is 50m2 in size. It has a master bedroom (facing the parking) and a living room (facing the lake). Since the weather in Uzungol is always cool, there is no air conditioning in the rooms. However, the owner can provide a fan if needed. Big Flat screen TVs is available in the living room. Iron, an Iron table, Sofa, fridge, washing machine with soap and Free toiletries are provided. The view from the balcony was astonishing (Lake and mosque view). The master bedroom has a king size bed and another single bed. It also has a small TV. Moreover, the bathroom has hot water and most importantly a shut off. The motel reflects very good standards of hospitality and service quality. I was surprised with a chocolate cake, daily fruit platters, nuts, room decorations and bed decoration.

Many thanks go to all team members and special thanks to Noura (owner) who has contributed to our 100% satisfaction. I cannot forget Taha who supported us during our stay. Taha recommended good restaurants and good places to visit. This motel is highly recommended. You will never regret it.

Our lake view apartment (Number: 205, located in the 2nd floor) is more than enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Size of this kind of apartment is 50m2. It has a master bedroom with a king size bed and another single bed. It also has a living room with sofa and a dining table. Each the bedroom and the living room does not have air conditioning, but both has TV. You will find Iron, Iron table, big fridge, as well as Free toiletries. The view from the balcony in the living room was astonishing (Lake view).

We have not tried any meals at the motel. However, the owner sent us fruits platers in daily basis. She also sent us ice cream, chocolate cake, drinks, nuts, etc. during our last stay, she walked with us to a nearby restaurant and paid for our breakfast. We cannot thank her enough.

• Parking: (5/5) EXCELLENT
There is plenty of self-parking area available freely in the backside of the hotel. Matter of fat, I had a minder accident in the entrance of the parking. Yet, the owner has taken care of all issues. She called the policy and sent her worker with me to the policy station to help me getting the police report. The service you get from this motel is astonishing.

I highly recommend Onal Motel. This is the place where you will definably not regret to stay at. Great service quality and helpful staff from concierge, owner, reception, and housekeeping. I cannot forget what the owner said, “this is your home… you are at home in our hotel”.

- Exceptional stay, i had no idea that the motel was this good when i booked it.
The location is amazing&fantastic, it's pretty quiet and pleasant, the breakfast is as 5 star hotels (best breakfast i had for years), the view is amazing, the rooms and the hotel interior as a whole was AMAZING.& Very CLEAN…
How were the staff?
They were friendly, honest and authentic people. The owner our friend Nuran in the reception she was really great, helpful,and informative. The restaurant staff & our friend Hasan were kind and lovely. Thank you all for your support and Will i return to Önal Motel in the future?

Noura is by far the best receptionist I have ever dealt with , and I have been to 50+ hotels 😉.
She is extremely nice and polite and really makes you feel comfy , Hamza is another great addition to the reception and stays in touch with you on WhatsApp to make sure you are satisfied.
The hotel has one of the best locations in ozungol right across the great mosque, a mini market under the motel and of course a great view of the lake.
The rooms are ok and the kitchen and the bathroom is well equiped , they evan have a ( shattaf) AKA water hose in the toilet for arab tourists ease .
And of course a spacious parking area behind the motel.
I would love to come stay here again . Indeed the staff alone are fair enough to book this great motel

Hamza and Nura are very helpful and made our lives easy.

Hamza helped mw with the stay and carrying luggage. Nura helped me with where I should go in the area and made me a discount.
