A very beautiful area, was crowded during this time of the year, but i can imagine it when it's less crowded, relaxing just to contemplate and watch the beauty of nature all around you.

This is the most famous area in Trabzon. You see it on all the pictures on social media. We visited in April 2023, so the weather was still cold and overcast. It's very peaceful and quiet when there's no tourists around. When the tourist show up, they start to litter in the lake and surrounding area. What a shame for such a natural beauty. All the shops around the lake have nice souvenirs, but they are overpriced.

I advise tourists not to come to this place in winter because it’s very cold

We visited in February 2022 2 adults and 2 kids ages 3 and 5

It was very quiet and peaceful.

The lake is filled with ducks that the kids enjoyed feeding and we watched them fly and dive.

Most of the shops and cafes were closed it looks like they are more active in the summer time.

A great place to take a walk.

There is a fun play ground for the kids

A beautiful lake in the middle of wonderful greeny mountains... Cold in winter till end of May... Has good weather in June... One to tow days is more than enough to explore the area... Has a small walking street that has shops and restaurants.. You may also find restaurants scattered all around the lake... Don't forget to get some honey from a trusted source... And great photos too.. There is also some activities like paragliding and it's great cause the surroundings are so beautiful.

Fog was covering most of the lake which made the photos looks really beautiful.

In night the lights gives the lake nice view because of the reflection.

I lived in a hotel near the lake, the view is phenomenal, day and night, the lake is surrounded by cafes and restaurants

There is car barking available on site and it cost 30 TL

A beautiful place, many: cafe, restaurant, hotel. The lake lit up by the sunlight in the morning is beautiful, as well as the lake lit up by lanterns at night.

It's amazing during winter. Calm almost no one is there but you can't find all of the cafes and restaurants open during to lake of visitors

I always wanted to visit Uzungöl lake.. but seeing is believing.
The lake has a nice walking path around it with many cafes and restaurants.
My advice, try to go there by a rented car, and take a trip up the hill where you can have a wonderful aerial view of the village and the lake.
The hill has a lot of cafes, hotels and restaurants.
The town has a very beautiful mosque with great decorations inside.

Amazing lake...from my opinion it would be much greater if the surrounding motels and what people are making there is proposed in a better way that what's making the place less attractive other than that Definitely worth the visit... Enjoy the nature... The cool to cold weather.... The surrounding mountains are awesome too... Walk around the area to enjoy the nature... One of the most beautiful attractions in tarabzon , the lake is nice and full of people and cafes most of the cafes are expensive with bad quality and bad bathrooms as well but the view is worth it to be honest, even though in many places we didn't have mobile signal but it was great

So beautiful, MUST VISIT !!! Make sure when you visit uzungol lake, continue the way for about 15 mins to “Gölet Kafe ve Piknik Alanı” and you’ll see literally breathtaking views, don’t miss it !!

Very good place and nice to visit in the summer but the only problem that it's crowded alot at this time but must to visit the place if you visit trabzon, the weather there is so nice and good to stay couple of days to enjoy the view of the beautiful lake and eat the delicious food there
