Salmakis Resort & Spa

This is a truly unique place. It’s close to Bodrum center, but you don’t need to leave the hotel because it has everything you need. The room was clean and cozy, offering a blend of historical charm with a modern bathroom. It was cleaned daily, and the towels were changed every day.

And the view… Oh, that view! I could spend hours just enjoying it.

The food was good, with a wide variety to choose from. However, there was only one type of fresh meal available each day.

I also want to mention that the staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Mr. Tarık, Baruş, and Eren—they were outstanding and deserve a round of applause!

This resort fully deserves the 5 stars in all areas of service. Excellent food and bar service and the staff were very accommodating, always on hand to help you if you need. Near some good bars and pubs where the nightlife is lively even on weekdays. Good to visit with family and sometimes has kids entertainment once dinner is finished. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view from the balcony. Thank you for an excellent stay :)

Grand scale traditional hotel. Feels like a village with many corridors and alleys to get accustomed to. Cleaning and maintenance are constant keeping everything in first class condition.

Staff are super friendly and remember what you like to eat and drink.

Key tip is to use the water taxi to town get back and forward to Bodrum. The views are spectacular and only 100tl each way per person.

Couldn’t fault this place at all! Staff were friendly, food was top notch, rooms were clean, resort itself was very clean. Very beautiful place to stay. Would definitely come back there.

Very nice location of the hotel. A wide variety of food, helpful and very friendly staff, especially Samet Can and Ramazan. All 5 stars for them. The rooms are tidy and spacious. I would like to come back here again.

Absolutely loved our week at Salmakis. The hotel is very clean and beautiful, the staff can't do enough for you, Ramazan in particular was such an attentive host at breakfast and dinners, he knew exactly what drinks we wanted and where we'd like to sit each day, he was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated, only 5mins in a taxi to Bodrum town which is full of shops and restaurants. Our rooms were cleaned daily, the food was lovely with a good choice each evening. My boys absolutely loved the pool and beach, there was plenty of sunbeds available everyday. As we were early to the season there was no entertainment in the evenings, but it's such a beautiful place it's not hard to entertain yourself. Definitely highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

We spent a lovely week in this beautiful hotel at the beginning of April. The views and scenery are breathtaking and the hotel, grounds and beach are clean and beautiful. Whilst reception was a little stand-offish and didnt give much information about how to get around the hotel or what was on offer, the rest of the staff really made our holiday. The waiters were so friendly and attentive, special mention to Sammy (Samet?) who looked after our every need, also to Celal (Cecil?) at the snack bar. Ismail the chef, was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble, he really cares about the quality of the food served, and it really is some of the best I have had in an all-inclusive hotel.
A special mention must go to the best bar manager I've met, Bilal. So friendly and funny, he really made our time there special. Also his lovely side-kick Taner, both such lovely people.
Staff really do make a difference to a guests stay, and the Salmakis has some of the best.

Salmakis resort and the staff were the root of this amazing holiday we spent in Bodrum and we cannot thank everyone enough! The Resort was in our perfect location and was just outstanding and the staff instantly made us feel very welcomed. Gym facilities, beach on the doorstep, large pool and bathing area, activities throughout the day, food was amazing, tasty and there were lots of options. The rooms were spacious and clean the cleaning staff were amazing and soo friendly it felt like a new family. I honestly could go on forever! Personally this was possibly my best stay and experience in a hotel/ resort and I can not wait to return. I just went to make a special thank you to Ibrahim and Tarik for looking after us so well during our meal times aswell as Samat Can. You guys get 6 stars out of 5! Niko in reception, Mr Doğan, Baran and the lads in behind the bar! so many more to mention thank you again!

Just about to leave .what can I say its such a beautiful place ,this was our 1st stay here will definitely be back .the water taxi is an amazing bonus never crowded and 100tl per person 10 min ride takes you to bodrum marina .the food can be a bit repetitive but you get that everywhere RAMAZAN from the restaurant was amazing always got you a place as soon as he sees you and gets drinks he's an asset to the hotel always happy and talkative .the pool bar has lovely day staff especially fatima and alli always smiles which can be hard as please and thanks there are rare they always remember your drinks and always have time for a chat .at night bar staff not soo friendly .the only down side of this place we could see was the entertainment team they are the laziest always sat on beach or by pool bar talking or in pool they virtually have no interaction with guests we were at the pool all day they walked past never said what night time entertainment was ..We will be rebooting as soon as we get home this place is such a gem don't miss it

The hotel is amazing. The staff is kind and polite to everyone. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beach and the pool are perfect. Such a spacious well-equipped resort hotel. Beautiful sea view with white balcony, nice gardens with flowers, attentive friendly staffs... No complaints at all. Spent very relaxing holidays here.

Mixed bag of reviews but our 1st trip to Turkey & found the hotel & resort lovely. The hotel, like most of us, is showing its age in places, but the staff were all lovely. Good selection of food & beverages & a la carte fish restaurant was fabulous. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Wow. Lovely resort. A bit disorientated on the first day trying to find our room due to the different lifts to take. Once we knew where we were going all is well. Great location with easy access to the town centre by taxi or water taxi. Waiting staff are laid back and friendly and will do their best to accommodate Extensive range of food for an all inclusive holiday. Alcohol beverages are local,so don't expect your favourite tipple to be on the self or a full English.On the negative side, we stayed for 7 days, 4 of the 7 we had to complain about our room not being cleaned or made up. House keeping needs training! On the whole loved the hotel,the beautiful views and access to facilities, will definitely go back.

I stayed in this hotel in 2019 for my Honeymoon & again June 2022 and it’s honestly amazing! Staff go above and beyond 24/7. Location is just perfect. Beach is dreamy! Always good variety of food. I never have had anything bad to say about this hotel. I will always come back here and I recommend to everyone!
