Delicious traditional Turkish food run by a really lovely family. We tried the lentil sou and manti. They gave us a free dessert too! Cheaper than eating in town, 10/10!

Just returned from balloon rides needing something to eat around 8 am This place had such nice views as it was a short distance away from the central area. It’s a mother/daughter run business. Such amazing customer service. Nigar, the daughter was running front of house and was so kind. My mother is vegetarian (she does eat egg). Upon request Nigar explained to her mother how my mom requested her omelette be made (essentially customized) with well cooked vegetables. My mom really enjoyed her meal. I ordered the turkish eggs that came out steaming hot. Both meals came with perfectly toasted bread. It was a comforting meal for a chilly morning and you could definitely tell it was made with love. The prices were great as both meals along with hot tea came in under $12. Go check this place out, it’s worth the short 8 minute walk from the center!!

I think the location on the map is wrong. A cute lady served me politely and quickly. I ate Turkish ice cream, homemade ayran, and many other things there, and they were all delicious! I would like to visit again when I return to Cappadocia.

Really good food with less oil and fresh ingredients. Family that runs the place is very hospitable and friendly. Menemen, turkish coffee, spinach bread were all impressive, very nice.

Cosy little cafe with simple home cooked Turkish food. Ordered the Turkish omelette (tomato egg) and chicken kebab - both tasted great

We went for breakfast and ordered the Sucuklu yumurta, Menemen, the cheese rolls and Turkish tea. Everything was very tasty and the prices were very affordable. The service was also very nice, the lady working was very friendly and gave us complementary grapes at the end.

Nigar is very nice and kind . Freshly prepared food , you will feel like eating at home. Beautiful place. Delicious food . cappadocia Lotus Cafe is the best . Highly recommended

Absolutely delicious food! Fresh, flavorful, everything you could ask for. Got the chicken sish kabob and fresh orange juice. Great hospitality, very nice family run business, would absolutely return!

If you want to drink classic Turkish coffee in a relaxed atmosphere, without the hustle and bustle of the central streets, come here. Everything here is very simple, but sincere. Friendly, hospitable hosts. This cafe has become an integral part of Cappadocia for me. Thank you for your kindness and warm welcome.

We had a lovely dinner and it was very reasonably priced. Nigar was so thoughtful and offered to make a special mint and lemon tea that wasn’t on the menu because she heard my mom wasn’t feeling well. We’re so glad we went.

We discovered this place on the last day of our trip. We had tea and coffee twice that day. The family is really sweet and welcoming. We sat for long chatting with Nigar and her family. Would recommend anyone in town to go to this lovely cafe.
