Şahindere Canyon

Awesome gorge near Altinoluk town. This natural beauty is like a gift for the area. Totally safe and must see. It is accessible either by car (with entrance fee) or on foot (free-if you follow Şahindere creek path from its right hand bank) Walk through small industrial zone towards mountain then you'll see the creek. After a certain point (picnic area with tables) the path continues in the creek which is freezing cold. Easy hike for approx. 1-1.5 km until the big pool with a small waterfall in the end where you can swim or just enjoy that cold, crystal clean water.
Flip-flops are not are not recommended! Creek is very very rocky. Bring sandals or beach shoes and your swim suit of course.
Please do not litter and KEEP IT CLEAN!

Amazing energy. Clean water. Walking would be difficult. They let you have your own food. There are tables in the river. You can walk all the way up to the waterfall. Nit easy walk. You have to know you will get wet.

it was an incredible experience. When you walk up the canyon, there is a pond at the end and it is perfect to swim there.

Get ready to get wet. I would definitely recommend watershoes. It’s quite difficult to reach the end but absolutely worth the trouble.

A mildly challenging walk along (and sometimes through) a river flowing through a canyon. Refreshing exercise for a hot day.

Kesinlikle görülmesi gereken bir yer, Giriş ücretsiz, park yeri ağaçların arasında, yüzmek istiyorsanız giyinme kabini yok evde mayo-bikini-şortunuzu giyip gidin, 4 tane WC kabini var ama ikisi kilitli ve çok kirli. Yiyecek içecek veya herhangi bir şey alabileceğiniz hiç bir yer yok her şeyini temin edip gidin orada bulamazsınız, almazsınız Şelalenin başlangıcı ve yüzme yeri için akarsu içinden taşlar üzerinde 800-1000 metre yürümeniz gerek taşlar yosunlu kaygan ve hareketli yukarı giderken hiçbir şeyinizi unutmayın çok zorlu bir parkur gibi su çok çok çok hatta çok soğuk manzara muhteşem piknik için banklar var ama çok az ateş, mangal, semaver yakmak yasak ama orada sabit görevliler yok devriye ekipleri gelince ateşi söndürüyorlar

Tam bir doğa harikası. Tertemiz suyu ağaçlarla çevrelenmiş doğal bir güzellik. Hafif zorlu bir parkur ama inanınki sağlık problemınız yoksa çokda eğlenceli.Otoparkı var, otoparkta wc var ama malesef temiz değil sifon çalışmıyor. Suyun içinden kayalardan yürüyerek güzel bir doğa gezintisi yapılıyor.tavsiyem terlik değilde su içinde kullanılabilen sandalet deniz ayakkabısı vs ile gelinmesi.terlikle gelenler zorlanıyor kayabiliyordu. Suyun seviyesi dizüstüne gelen yerler var.yazın en sıcak saatlerde gelip serinlemek mantıklı:) çok küçük çocuklar ve yaşlılar için bu yürüyüş pek rahat olmaz .
