The place was stunning. A bit crowded. The latest sand Sculpture`s theme is Disney characters.

I absolutely adore this beach and that’s why I keep coming back. And now that the area is opening up more arty coffee shops and restaurants, it makes this beach even more attractive to visit. This is a nice area to come to for a long weekend vacation. The area is nice and the beach is even better. It is only a 90 minute train ride away from Taipei which makes it even more popular. I would make sure to book way in advance as accommodation gets booked up pretty quickly especially around special holidays. There is a free beach which is right by the temple and is very cool. It can get really busy sometimes but there is a nice stretch of sand so you will be able to find space to lay your towels on and enjoy the ocean. And then the other side is a paid beach and is beautiful also but you have to go in another way. You would need to go towards Fullon Hotel Fulong and walk by the side and get in. I think my friend and I paid either 50 for 100ntd to get in. You have to walk over the bridge and then you come to the beach. Sometimes they have a section with beautifully sculptured sand art that you can go view and take pictures of.

It’s really nice to swim there + playing with the waves and chill on the water. So relaxing and refreshing. And the sand on your feet is so smooth. Not muddy like other beaches.

Not only owning unique world-class works, Taiwan is also favored by nature with many beautiful beaches, the most prominent being Fulong Sea. Owning sand beaches stretching to the sea, the clear blue water can be seen there, so this will be a suitable place for you to have more interesting experiences on the sea such as boating, playing sports, surfing... To visit the fun in this area, you will have to buy tickets for about NT$100 (~ 75,000 VND), a very reasonable price for interesting experiences here.

Good place. Every year, an International sand art competition is held during month of June-July. Its a treat to watch artists from diffefent parts of world coming here and showcasing their art. You can purchase a one day bus pass and visit places Ruifeng as the last stop.

Caution: July is a month with high temperatures and humidity. Dont forget to carry your sunscreen lotion.

A clean and flat gold sand beach best Suitable for kids to enjoy the beach play. Plan to visit during Sand art festival you can see amazing sand sculptures made by Artist s from all over the world. The entry is bit expensive I feel. But IAM not sure whether the entry fee is collected only during snad art festival or all days.

Well fulong beach is good to hang out with friends,those sculpture sand so amazing .That time when we go there too windy and it rains also but still we had fun .

I think it's the only beach in taipie heheh lol 😆, the best one for the high tech city guys.
But it's like a 1.5 hour drive from Taipei bus station, around 60 kms, it's a like a one day trip because up and down it takes 3 hours and then due to covid, they only allow a certain number of people inside the beach in order to make sure there is enough social distancing.
When I went it was a FULONG international sandwich sculpture art festival. IT WAS really great and awesome and exciting to see such wonderful giant sand sculptures.
This time it was the PIXAR productions had all their movies made as a sand sculpture...

Their ticket included certain combos, one drink and one doritos packet. Even If the sculpture is not there then I think the beach is still paid. Some kind of entry fees is there, ITS NOT FREE.

U can bring ur camp sites and other swimming things and enjoy with ur family,
Really has a good time over there.

With only $100 for adults and $50 for kids and senior citizens as entrance fee, you get access to Fulong Beach and their public toilets and showers. There are also life guards watching the beach all the time. A wonderful place to relax with your friends, family and even by yourself.

Fulung Beach is on the north-east coast of Taiwan. It's said to be the best beach resort on the island. Fulung Beach is surrounded by mountains, it's a very attractive setting. It's good to walk along the beach, Fulung Beach is around an hour from Taipei. The quality of the water is variable.

Not a very large beach, but if you’re here between April and August it is a site to behold/must see! Gigantic, world class sand sculptures grace half of the beach. If you’re just looking for a nice place to board or swim, it’s a great option, too.

It's a nice place to enjoy the summer. It has beautiful long yellow gold sand that everyone can enjoy. Nice place to visit during summer they have there sand art. They also have umbrella, tents and mats you can rent. They also have clean comfort room and shower room and life guards for everyone's safety.

Very beautiful place to pamper yourself. It provides a lovely view, near resort, restaurants, supermarket, train station, suttle bus stop and offer auto bycicle to get around there. Besides that there is a visitor centre that can help you to find the information regarding Fulong or transportation there.

Very beautiful beach.. I travelled from Taipei.. train route to fulong beach was awesome.. best time to aarive beach is around 2 pm.. you will enjoy playing in sea water.. Evening sunset was so beautiful.. This beach visit is for only one day.. after 5.30 security ask us to leave water.. bridge near the beach so well constructed with beautiful light.. worth place to visit

Perfect for friends' getaway. Fulong sand sculpture exhibition is a must-visit in summer. The experience could have been better if we went there in September. It is too rainy in October so waves are a bigger and too dangerous to swim in.

I was on the way to Hualien and stopped here for a little beach break. It was clean and well maintained. The beach had golden sand and you could actually swim. On one side of the beach there was wind surfing and kayaking. The other side was the swiming and life guard. I just went a few days ago (late june) and there was an awesome sand Sculpting Competition.

This beach is also the last stop on the tourist bus route that hits Juifen. I added that pic of the bus stop if you would like to check out what other places are on that route ☺

Located adjacent to Fulong Village at the mouth of the Shuang River in Gongliao District. Frequently visited by Taipei residents during the summer due to its easy access from the city, Fulong is one of the more popular beach destinations in northern Taiwan. The sand on the beach is golden in colour, a rarity for Taiwan, attracting visitors from all over the island. Sand sculpture art festivals are held at the beginning of the summer every year.The Shuang River divides the beach into two distinct areas connected by the Rainbow Bridge. Entrance fee for the beach is NT$100 and includes usage of the park and beach facilities. There is also a free public beach slightly southeast next to the temple. For tourists it is recommended to visit the private beach as the entrance cost provides additional amenities.

To get to Fulong, take a train (TRA Train) from Taipei Main Station, towards Ruifang Station, here continue on a local train to Fulong. ( it's possible as well to travel direct from Taipei Main station to Fulong on the local train only, with the ride taking over 90 minutes).
