Hotel Day+ Hualien

My partner and I stayed for 1 night on Feb23 as we visited Taroko National Park. We were in room 510 (felt very large) and it cost about 1699 taiwan dollars.

The entrance to the hotel lobby looks like a big rock wall, we almost missed it! There is also a cute mascot outside, it is actually a mailbox. We got a free postcard and mailed off our postcard, which will arrive in 1 year. Fun!

You might be able to get by with just English (we speak a bit of Mandarin so we were ok), the front desk staff is also very nice.

Upon checkout, we were also able to store our luggage free of charge so we can spend the day around Hualien before catching our evening train. We also got a box of free bread snacks, which we ate on the train!

Great hotel near Hualien station. Facilities are fairly new, noise insulation is good, breakfast is amazing and staff is friendly. Very recommended!

Clean and nice hotel. Amenities are aplenty and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They helped us book a cab when we needed to go to the city. Water refills and bottles are handy and helpful. Love the illustrations on the key card and everything including the postcard you can send to your future self. Pretty safe as we experienced a small earthquake during our stay. Near the train station with free bicycle rental. Will recommend!

Stayed in classic double room. This is definitely a high value stay against the price paid. The room is in good shape and design. The lighting is great. The work desk design is well set for business travelers! There are plenty of options for breakfast buffet. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Location is walking distance from train station. Little shortage is the carpet has stems on it. Would like to recommend to any traveler visiting Hualien city.

This hotel is a real blast. It has a very nice price-performance ratio. The room is comfy and has a great selection of bath soap, shampoo and conditioner that are also available for sale. The breakfast also has a good variety of choices.

Wow! I stayed here a year ago and they kept their promise of sending the time capsule postcard to arrive on exactly the correct day we had stayed. The hotel was brand new and very nice rooms. I had recommended my parents to stay here as well and they loved it. You guys are awesome!

Great hotel! Well located, walking distance from Hualien Main Station. Perfect base to stay while you are exploring Hualien. Their breakfast was lovely, many options, try their “special chef cook today”. I booked the room for 4 people but i only stayed with a friend. Because, i needed more space. So, total was 2 person. But, we still got 4 coupons for breakfast per day!! Good math and didn’t cheat on what i paid. I stayed here for 2 nights and had to leave early in the morning. So, the front desk prepared our breakfast in lunchbox. I liked my room a lot, i got enough space for myself, my friend and our luggages. The adaptor is 110 volt. Even you could plug your cables there, it won’t work properly. I wish they had 110 and 220 volt like when i was in Taipei. The staffs were very helpful! I called them that someone broke my face wash bottle. But, the housekeeping said he didn’t break it. At the end the staff helped me to glue the broken bottle. Thanks for your help! I appreciate that.

Comfy rooms, friendly staffs, near train station. 8F XBox room is also nice, albeit a bit cold. Lobby's mini climbing wall is quite fun. Future postcards are nice and unique. Thank you for a delightful experience.

Comfy beds bro. I be chilling dog. Overall good but I saw a cool jet which I like imposter jk was cool 😋😎😲 love the food i like the breads

All the amenities are good except the air con cannot be adjusted the temperature in the room.
