Niutoushan

Probably one of my favorite spots on the island. Came here twice, once during the afternoon and once for the sunrise. There weren't a lot of people in the afternoon but a good number of people coming to see the sunrise and fly their drone. An eclectic mix of sea shore, hills, grassland and ocean. There are a couple of hills and viewing spots you can go to take in the scenery and take photos. There even were a few wild sheep grazing! If the weather allows for it, you get a great view on the sunsrise, too. There's not much shade so be prepared for a lot of sunshine. There's a small shop nearby by the Guanyin Cave where you can stock up on drinks and simple foods. I imagine this place can get quite packed in the early mornings when there are more tourists on the island.

Beautiful spot on the Island. While standing on the edge of the cliff, you will get amazing views of the ocean with clear, blue water. Some higher point also gives you a great take on the island itself. Easy to access.

Feels like the end of the world. The wooden pathway will take you up the most of the way, then you just walk on the short grass. You can have a great view on the nearby uninhabited Getaway island.
