What a nice place for resting and enjoying with breathtaking picturesque scene of environment of the hotel! Also ceaseless supporting of the staffs were amazing. It was one of the best experience in my lifetime. It was amazing itself. If I visit Zanzibar definitely I will choose Dongwe hotel again.

The hotel has a nice view, is spacious, has the beach right in front of it, and has a lot of facilities, so we had a great time.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Finding the mosquito net in my room was set and removed on time, I could sense a motherly touch! The location was ideal. It felt like private because it was not in a crowded area.

It was a fantastic experience for me. I really enjoyed food and great scenery. All staffs were very kind. In my opinion, swimming pool was the best.

Dongwe club resort is such a beauty. With stunning views of the ocean, white sandy beaches, very serene environment. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are very clean and equipped with air conditioning facilities as Zanzibar has very high temperatures. The food is mostly international cuisine but tasty.

Absolutely stunning resort on the Zanzibar east coast! I spent almost a week here on business, and everything was excellent. I enjoyed it so much that I am returning within a month for my own personal vacation.

I had an oceanfront room, so I had a stunning view of the water from my bed. Even if you don’t have an oceanfront room, your view will be wonderful since the property is lush and well maintained. The room was large and comfortable. No tv or phone, but this didn’t bother me.

The service is incredible— friendly, attentive and accommodating staff. It’s also very quiet and relaxing. The beach is the highlight of the hotel for me.

The place is very calm, homely and quiet...the food was amazing and delicious. The hotel staff always smiling and helpful....My kid and I enjoyed and we are going there again for christmas with my relatives.

One of the niciest places I been to. Super silent and calm. The personel is really friendly. Food made by the Italain chef is extremly tasty. One (and significant) disadvantage is paid and realy expensive alcohol. So if you want get some drinks better prepare many dollars.

In March 2022, I was organizing yoga workshops at the Dongwe Club Vacanze hotel. The hotel exceeded our expectations, we enjoyed it so much! First of all, the hotel is beautifully situated right on the ocean front with a clean sandy beach. There is also a large swimming pool and a carport next to it where you can practice yoga overlooking the ocean. There is a large, well-kept garden around, where we could meditate in peace and quiet, and go for walks among palm trees and flowers. The rooms are large, with air conditioning and a private bathroom. Importantly, the bungalows are well-designed, with high ceiling insulation, which keeps the rooms cool despite the heat outside. Every day, friendly staff cleans the rooms and leaves them very clean.

The hotel kitchen is delicious. There is a very large selection of seafood and every vegetarian will also find something for themselves among fresh fruits and vegetables. We had the opportunity to meet the chef in person, who was very attentive to the needs of our group and satisfied them as much as possible. We had concerts with live music every day and gala dinners twice a week: Swahili evening and a white party by the pool. Our guests were delighted with it !!!

I recommend this hotel not only for family holidays, but also for business training and yoga or meditation workshops. We want to come back with another group!

A amazing place to relax a couple of days while in Zanzibar. Extra large swimming pool and enough beach beds to relax. Very nice sun deck at the jetty to enjoy the ocean during low tides. Special thank you to Giorgio and his team for excellent service. Great maasai entertainment during the Swahili night. Will be back

my wife and I spent two weeks there, the hotel is excellent, the service is nice, obliging and always smiling. bows to the cook for delicious Italian food, and not only Italian food. the cake he made for my wife's birthday was perfect. decent spanish wine, bottle, not carton. special appreciation to the hotel manager. Giorgio was very helpful, always available and patient with people like me. special thanks for organizing my wife's birthday party. as a rule, I am ill-disposed towards this type of hotels, rather, I prefer to go individually, due to covid we decided otherwise, fearing that it would be similar to other resorts, fortunately it was really perfect. Summing up, I recommend it

I was there for a weeks holiday. Nice location, beautiful garden and pool area, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms and patio really provided everything you might need on holiday. The food was very nice. As mentioned a few times, the Pizzas are very good, but i focused more on the other options. Lot of nice seafood and fish. I was there during the Newyears celebrations and an excellent buffet, and party were organised. Importantly, the staff and hotel also adhere to common sense covid measures. I guess the only small negative point to mention is the wifi. Its only available in the lobby, and if a lot of people sit there, then the router struggled. Sometimes it took more than 30 minutes to get connected and once i had to just give up.

Everything absolutely perfect, we were very satisfied. Staff excellent, food and drinks are fantastic. Wonderful environment, always tidy, clean, beautiful beach, ocean clean turquoise.

We recommend, we hope to come back someday.

The staff were friendly. The outdoor dinner was delicious and the performance was good. However, I hope the service that seems to focus on Italians will be corrected.

After hearing from our friends about this magical experience, me and my husband finally got to visit Zanzibar islands and booked a stay in Dongwe Club Resort for 5 days.
What to say about this place! It will make you feel like you are staying right in the lap of the nature. With its lush green surroundings to the majestic pristine beach, delectable and flavorful food, cozy suites, and super courteous staff, everything here was beyond amazing.
We stayed in suite rooms which are highly spacious with all the amenities at hand. The swimming pool is huge with stunning view of the ocean. For sport lovers, there’s an added advantage as they have court for Volleyball, Lawn Tennis and Archery and a Table Tennis setup beside the pool.
We throughly enjoyed our 5 days here and would love to visit this place again!

P.S. Besides all these things, the manager Mr Giorgio Scudu is the most humble and caring person who ensured that we experience the best of everything and have a great time staying there.

My wife and I had a wonderful time in this lovely resort. The staff has been very nice and responsive to our needs (10+), the location of the room was perfect and its cleanliness flawless. Dining has been a marvelous surprise as well... perhaps because the chef is Italian :)

Dongwee is so Amazing ❤ ,environment is so clean and Smart like all the time ,Beach is so secured and that made me feel so comfortable being here, Swimming,Rooms and everything around very clean and smart.
Apart from everything I got food and drinks at A very right time ,food is so delicious and that gave me a lot of reasons for me being here more and more time not only that but will tell my friends Dongwe is the right place for enjoyment.
