BEAR SANCTUARY Domazhyr

Great corner of wonderful nature. Well-planned for all visitors' needs. The bears and their stories are a must-see for all, who still thinks keeping wild animals in circus or small zoos is ok.

Here the bears are rehabilitated after living in poor conditions. Perfect place near Lviv to spend several hours.Entrance fee ~2,3 euro. I recommend to additionally buy guided tour for extra 1 euro.Then you will know history of place and every bear. Tours start every hour. Canteen and toilet available.

That's awesome place. Bears lives almost in wild nature. Nice view on bears.

Fabulous place. You might walk into the forest and enjoy picturesque views. Besides that there there is a location where you can eat tasty ukrainian food and superb playground for the kids(5-10 years).
The only downside: pavements in the forest are covered by gravel, so wan't be very comfortable walking with stroller.

A fabulous place for walks with friends, children. It is very interesting to see healthy, contented animals who are given the most natural living conditions. Keep in mind that this is not a zoo or a circus. The enclosures here are huge and if the local bears decide not to meet the visitors, you will not see them. It's good to have a story about each bear, very interesting. The area of the sanctuary is huge and well-maintained, and there are children's activities. There is a cafe on the grounds of the sanctuary. The parking lot is pretty spacious. We will definitely visit it again and again.

Great idea to rescue animals from cruel conditions. Nice and clean place. Recommend to visit and support.

Spent a couple of hours at this sanctuary🐻 You could walk there and watch the bears all day! There are lots of them in their natural habitat. Great place to go as a family! There is also a restaurant where you can have a nice meal🥪

Like the place. But bears are hiding and you should be prepared you won't see them.
If you are planning to have a lunch here,
it is better to take food with you as caffe stuff is a bit slow.
There is also a nice shop on territory, where you can buy souvenirs, tea, t-shirts etc.

Lovely park to spend the time with family and help the cause. The bears are kept comfortably, and have lots of space to explore - there's also plenty of handy info on bears throughout the park, as well as info about lives and likes of rescued bears.

Must visit. We had interesting excursion with a guide, entrance 70 UAH, excursion per group is 280 UAH. Beautiful nature. Spent ~2h here.

A must see! Definitely visit if you're in Lviv. Everything is so beautiful and well kept. These people are doing amazing things

Nice place to walk with kids. It is very interesting to watch bears, they are so cute. But I wouldn't recommend to try coffee there.

Lovely place, especially for families with kids. You also can grab some food in a cafe upstairs.
