Northern Lakes Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

I have been visiting Northern Lakes for years, and the staff is always so caring and helpful. Not only to me but to the residents. I am so impressed by the tenure of the staff and how long the management team has been there . Northern Lakes is involved in many community events, and does so much for all of the seniors in our community.

This is the best extended care facility I've ever been in. The staff is so attentive and kind! We had a very good experience with their hospice team and other employees.

My father recently spent his final 11 days in hospice at Northern Lakes, and although it was a very sad time, the care he received there was outstanding. I can't say enough about the kindness and professionalism of the staff, including nurses, administrators, and techs. We were fully supported and guided through the process and were treated with respect and dignity by everyone there. The facility itself is homey, very clean, and bustling with activities, conversations, and visitors. I'm so grateful we chose them!

I have a cousin at NL who I visit every few months. I have always found him well cared for. The staff is friendly, attentive and well trained. It seems like each resident is cared for like family. My cousin is always involved in one activity or another and the activities seem more unique, fun and varied than at other facilities I’m familiar with. He has made friends there which is making his stay more homey and enjoyable. Thank you staff for caring so well for him.

Our loved ones are important to us and caring for them also very important. As this life challenge has come upon my loved ones, Northern Lakes has stood out as a huge help and caring facility. Thank you all who give of themselves at Northern Lakes for the care of my family!😊❤🙏

Excellent staff who were very loving and caring toward my husband and myself. I cannot say enough about the staff who were regularly asking if there was anything else they could do to make my husband's stay better. Heart to Heart hospice was very kind and loving during a difficult time. The only thing that needs to be changed- I would highly recommend head phones or speakers by each person's bed in shared rooms to provide a more peaceful and relaxing experience when room mates are watching tv.

Zildjian and I made a therapy dog visit again today. We were able to visit with residents and staff in the lobby, memory center and a couple rooms. We had a good time and everyone seemed to enjoy seeing us.

Family transfered Mom here from another facility. Oh my goodness, we are so happy we did! Northern Lakes has a warm, welcoming family atmosphere. Nurses, aids, therapists, activity directors, social services and administrators give and demonstrate tender loving care at all times. As a family we are genuinely grateful for the dedication of staff and the peace of mind we have knowing Mom's in caring and medically professional hands.

Every time I go to see my Mother everyone is always friendly. It is always clean. Mom is getting good care.

Northern Lakes staff lovingly and professionally cared for our mother, Mary DeMara, for nearly four years. Commitment, communication, and utmost care describes their dedication to Mom and to our family. Since her passing on May 5, 2015, I know the staff will miss her, as they have become family too.

I was impressed with the security, with the attention given to visitors' health before visiting love ones, and the care given to my terminal I'll brother.

This is a wonderful place for rehab. I'm a Visiting Angel and come in to see my client and I'm very impressed with his care he is receiving.
