Always love coming here. Foods always fresh and delicious. Tried the coconut chicken for the first time and I'm a fan. Tea is absolutely good. The service is always friendly.

The staff is polite, and it's a great place to bring your family for lunch or dinner!

Year 2020:
China Star is taking precautions concerning covid-19. Only one customer allowed in the breezeway to order. Employee is separated by customer by a solid plastic barrier. They are open until 8pm.

Food was hot and fresh the owners were always nice and friendly and helpful very clean full Oriental experience

Super friendly. Very clean. Good tastes fresh. One CAN get a tractor trailer in the parking lot, so trucker friendly(ish).

Owners and staff are always friendly and treat you like family. Buffet is always full and fresh and your drink is never empty. The only thing that I don't love about China Star is that they are closed on Mondays

It is a Chinese buffet place. The food was great. The server was very attentant and very friendly. Not much of a dessert choice. But everything else was great and friendly.

We recently discovered China Star. I'd driven past for years and never stopped in. We decided it was finally time to try it and we were not disappointed. The lunch buffet had a large selection of fresh and flavorful food. Definitely something for everyone. Hard ice cream for dessert was a welcome change from other Chinese buffets. The pricing was very reasonable. Seeing the price on the wall when we came in, I expected the food to be of lower quality or fewer selections. You definitely get more than you pay for here. We've since been back numerous times and have had a great experience each time. The building and interior are in need of a refreshing. It's very old and worn down. The quality, quantity, and flavor of the food definitely make up for any lack of ambiance. We definitely recommend China Star if you're in the area. Go with an appetite!

Great food at an affordable cost with good customer service. The resturaunt is also typically a quiet and peacful expierience when dining at.

This is an amazing family run restaurant. Always clean, hot food and very tasty. Great service, excellent food and very friendly staff. I've enjoyed eating here often since moving to the area. Highly recommend!

The food was good and hot nice selection

Very good food. Not a lot to choose from but you'll defiantly find enough to fill up on. If you want a specific item to be on the buffet request it and they'll make it for you! Clean restaurant and restroom. Always very friendly staff. Server is good at keeping up with refills and clearing plates from tables. A good experience every time I go there.

My husband and I love this place. Affordable prices, food is hot ( even after a 8 minute drive home), clean and very friendly staff, I can not find anything to complain about. We are still unsure the different pricing between lunch and dinner. We came at 4 pm and was charged lunch price and came at 2:30 pm and charged dinner price.

Hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant. You can always count on a fresh delicious meal with a huge variety of items on the buffet. If you are concerned about dining in during covid... Don't be. You can still get the buffet but they dish it up for you. You are distanced well from other customers...I felt very safe dining in there. If you are in the area... Definitely give this place a try. If you prefer carryout... Your meal will be well packaged for travel and tastes like it came right off the buffet when you get home.

Food was hot and selections were refilled promptly. Restaurant was clean and well maintained.

Excellent Americanized Chinese buffet offerings. The building itself is run-down and very much a 1990s buffet frozen in time, but who could care when they cook circles around corporate chains.
