I'm really tempted to not put a review on this place... Would hate to start having competition for seating! Just kidding, there's so much seating that's probably never a problem!

Coffee is great, decor is unreal and unique, very west bottoms. Baristas are sweet. Of the >50 Coffee shops I've been to in the last few years, definitely one of my new faves. Especially with BBQ, Whiskey and cool industrial feels nearby.

This place was so much more than I expected! Such a great place to have coffee before antique shopping. My favorite part of this place, besides the yummy coffee of course, was the porch swing-yes, inside! Java Garage better be on your list of coffee shops to check out asap!

Fun place to just be. Owners are super nice. The vibe is unique with awesome decor. Great coffee! Kid friendly!!

The bottoms has so much going on! Last time I was here, they were relocated inside another boutique. Now, they have their own spot!

Toooonnns of seating, high ceiling and well lit with natural light, spotless restrooms, & my fav, friendly staff!!!

I didn’t catch the woman’s name that made served us, with the grayish white beautiful ponytail, she was very kind & helpful! My hot cocoa with caramel drizzle was yummy!

The seating was an assorted array of mixed matched chairs & tables. My fav seating were the porch swings in the middle of the shop!

The best part, was seeing the adorable dog! It was so sweet & wished I caught his or her name too 😏

If u love a good hot cocoa this is the place to go, even if the name is about coffee ☕😁

Btw, They have a couple big signs if u want photos!!

Discovered this place in West bottoms area and we love it! Super friendly space and good cappuccino. Will try their pastry next time

Visited for the first time yesterday and had the best of coffee I’ve had in a long time! The service was great and loved meeting your dog. I’ll be back!!!

Excellent selection of drinks, funky relaxed vibe and tons of places to sit and catch up with friends.

The adorable napping pupper with his tongue out, named Scout, made my day!

Our cappuccino was great and the seating options were very creative and fun. A great place to stop whenever you’re shopping for antiques.

This is always a spot I stop at in the West Bottoms! 🖤 They are always so sweet and even helped me fix a way too sweet drink from one of the food trucks 😊 And I love what they have done with the new space 💕

Most underrated coffee shop that I have been to in a while. Has a very chill vibe with great coffee. I’ll definitely be coming back.

There are times when Urban exploring absolutely pays off and I'm glad I found a place like this to come hang out. A pretty solid menu offering the classics of a coffee shop as well as some unique drinks I haven't found anywhere else. Such as the House latte with their house syrup which tastes like a Werther's original. Very large seating area for conferences or group outings and a pleasing view of the Old Studebaker Carriage building. West Bottoms needed a place like this tucked amidst all of the antique shops better down here. Definitely worth coming to check out on the weekends when most of the antique shops are open. Also very dog friendly, their mascot is such a good boy

Come here on the weekends and always have had good service with the cutest dog upfront and plenty of space to work or relax after looking through all the shops.

Popped in to get out of the cold while visiting Kansas City and was immediately delighted by the spacious, welcoming atmosphere and the furry mascot (Stout). I had a mud pit, which was *delicious*. Lots of comfy seating including indoor porch swings, great coffee - I highly recommend it!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, you can come here to study or have a first date. The owners are amazing people and their dog is just the cutest! They have a great variety of options for all coffee aficionados and tea drinkers as well. This is by far my favorite coffee place in Kansas City.

Delicious coffee! Irish nut with Oatmilk was my fav. Recommend them and will be back!
