Panaderia Los Castillos

This bakery offers such a variety of different Mexican goodies! I stopped in here recently and tried their flan which was delicious. As I was walking out, I noticed they also had chocolate flan which I knew I was going to have to try in the future. I stopped back in not even a day later and tried the chocolate flan along with a pineapple empanada. The flan was smooth and custardy while the cake was moist. The pineapple empanada was a bit dense and could have used a little more filling but it was still tasty. There is a lot to choose from here so you will probably find yourself wanting to keep coming back for more!

The best Flan that I have try here in MN. I'm used to the sweet flan taste from Puerto Rico and this one ia the closest to that taste that I have try here. Also you will get all the traditional bakery sweets from Mexico here. A great place to try some delicious traditional mexican sweets. I will recomend you to try the Flan, that one was great here.

First time coming to this bakery. Bought 3 breads, a nice size flan, and it was only $7.75. The price over quality definitely exceeds, especially now things are getting more expensive. I would recommend this place over all these generic coffee joints selling breads and other sweets.

Fresh, delicious, and new items show up here and there. Highly recommend. Bring cash though unless you plan to buy a bunch of stuff - they have a CC minimum and you'll end up with way too many items. Not such a bad thing, but...

Hidden gem I didn’t even know existed!!! Wish they had a small sitting area, and kids drinks like small bottles of milk or juice, but the treats we got were tasty! Prices are very good too! Definitely will be coming back, maybe for a birthday cake next :-)

One of the only places I’ve come across chocoflan! My coworker said it’s her favorite type of dessert and I was happy to come across this place. Everyone has enjoyed it that I’ve shared with!

This place is wonderful. Ordered the best birthday cake we've ever had for my son. Looked good, tasted great, and everyone is so nice.

The baked goods were displayed BEAUTIFULLY, that said, it was a bit of a ghost town, I could see employees, but I must have been invisible, on the day that I visited, because not one person came out to approach me or say anything to me. I walked around the bakery, again it was very clean everything beautifully displayed but no one ever said good morning may I help you. So I just left didn't try anything

Hidden away on the south side of the Signal Hills strip mall in West St Paul. Worth a visit!

Some of the most beautiful baked goods I've ever seen! I wish I took photos to share, but I bought just a random selection of stuff because it all looked so good.
The place is cheap,too! We're talking a buck, 2 bucks max for giant puffy pastries.
It's a small store, but they had a good selection. It's a Mexican bakery, so if you're coming for donuts and really sugary stuff, you're not going to find it here. If you're looking for some gorgeous looking conchas, or a gallina with some delicious filling, or authentic Mexican baked goods, this place is amazing.

I wandered in there and it was warm and smelled amazing! Looks of fresh cake, pastries, cookies, and treats I didn’t even know existed!! Everything was moist and delicious! Very nice people. I especially like the apple cinnamon oat cookies :) new favorite

I love Castillos Bakery! It's my go-to place when I want to bring pastries to work.
I highly recommend the jalapeno cream cheese filled rolls.
The pineapple filled pastries are fantastic, prices are VERY fair, and you can walk out with 25 pastries for a reasonable prices.
Cookies are a little less sweet than what I'm used to, which I suspect is traditional.
Nice flan cake and be sure to grab some Mexican Coca Cola (the only kind in my book)!

I LOVE Los Castillos! Ever since moving from California, I have been looking for a bakery with cream cheese jalapeño stuffed bread. I stumbled across this bakery when visiting the post office next door. I drive from Minneapolis for this bakery. It is exactly what I have missed since moving to the Midwest. Thank you Los Castillos! The people are very kind and I highly recommend the cream cheese jalapeño stuffed bread!

I have been to bakeries all over the country and this place is special with fantastic baked goods.

Very good family bakery. If you love flan, make this a favorite. The cakes are good too. I grew up in a neighborhood with a good Jewish backery, now I have a good Mexican bakery. Life is good.

This place is the greatest! I stop in about 3 times a week. They have 3 milk cake, which is pretty hard to find, and they have the best apple turn overs and cheesecake I've ever! They have a huge selection unique baked goods. They have a very unique variety off pastries that you won't find in your standard bakery. I definitely recommend giving this place a go.

Delicious! I was looking for a panadería nearby and I was lucky to find Castillo’s. I hadn’t had conchas in such a long time and was excited to try and bunch of things. I’m happy to say the concha’s were delightful and the churros were soooo good. I’ll definitely be back!
