Hometown Comics & Games

Haven’t been in a game and hobby store for many years, but this one is close. I popped in one night to look for some sealant for minutes and projects.

There was a lot more products inside than I thought there would be. A good selection of comics, books, figures, gaming supplies and miniatures, cosplay supplies, and imported Japanese merch. A lot of stuffed animals, mostly Pokémon.

The prices seem reasonable for the market and the location of the store; the Japanese goods are a little more because imports usually are, but not as high as convention prices.

Staff is really friendly, and though I didn’t have any questions, they were very helpful with the other customers’ questions. I’d go back for gaming supplies or figures for sure.

Friendly not as many pokemon singles as a was hoping but had a huge anime/Manga selection.

I've been shopping here for a few years but I just bought a wig here yesterday and omg the quality. I have always gotten second hand or amazon wigs and I will NEVER be buying from amazon or depop or second places again. This is literally the most comfortable wig I have ever worn and it was so easy to style. It doesn't hold knots in it and I am just in awe. Usually with long wigs if you even move your head you'll suddenly have 10,000 knots in your wig, but this stays knotless the whole time. I am so astonished by the quality of this wig that I'm writing my first Google review. They also recently moved things around and updated stuff inside the store and it just looks absolutely wonderful. I'm so proud of this company and can't wait to see them at comicon this year! Will definitely be going to them for all my wig needs from here on out.

Very fun store, shop workers are super friendly and sociable. Gave us great information and about in store and online deals.

Have stopped by a couple times to check their stock. Friendly staff who are helpful. Wide assortment of items available. Wish they had a bigger Pokémon selection when it comes to their singles in the case

My kids participated in the Pokémon club. They have never played. The staff was amazing! They were so kind and carefully explained how the game was played.

First time in store. The outside doesn't entice you to come in, to me I thought it would be dark, and just full of comic books everywhere, but it isn't like that at all. Brightly lit, so many different products along with the comic books, so much cool stuff, places to play games, and so much more. You definitely should stop in and check it out!

Family own. Awesome place to get your gaming stuff or play games in their game room. They offer gaming sessions for children. The activities for kids brings people together. Check them out.

Update: The business moved to 1040 North State Street, summer of 2018. Now even better than before.
Can't say enough. Awesome Comic, game and pop culture place. So much Manga and Anime figurs. A must stop shop for any geek culture fan. Over 300+ New comics on the wall and massive backissue collection.

I stopped by today just to check the place out. I was impressed with how clean it was as well as everything they had in stock. There seems to be some thing for everyone here to fulfill their nerd and geek dreams. They had a pretty decent stock back issue comics that were priced comparatively to eBay but without the shipping cost. the two guys upfront we're very friendly and helpful. I would encourage you to check this place out if you're in the area.

Fantastic place to get comic books and game materials. We have purchased DND products from the several times. Their prices are not going to be cheaper than Amazon but I would rather pay more to support a local business anyways. Great service and lots of events that you can attend as well.

This is a local business I love to support! This is one of my son's favorite places to go. I probably take him a few times a month. Also, I would be lying if I didn't say I enjoy it too, as I spent hours reading comics as a kid. What makes this local gem amazing is that it offers much more than comics! It has something for all comic, anime, cosplay, ect lovers! Additionally, they host a number of events for different games. They also have great options for holiday gifts and birthday parties. It's a great social place to meet friends of all ages and to have fun!

Amazing store with a wide array of comics manga dnd books and figure and cosplay supplies. The staff if always friendly and helpful and if they dont have a particular comic Trade paperback they are willing to order if for you without making if feel like a burden to do so. Been going for years and will continue to go for years yet to come.

Really cool shop. Many different items in stock, some very difficult to find in most stores. Friendly staff. Plan to stop by again soon.
