Gilligan's Boats

We had a wonderful day on the lake. Morgan was the best. He answered all our questions. He gave us advice about the lake. When we got back we were confused if we were to stay and wait for Morgan. I texted the owner that we were back and asked if we were to stay or leave. He was prompt in answering that it was ok for us to leave. We were the only ones renting a pontoon that day. I can only imagine what is like in the summer time to take care of all the people renting and coming and going. All it takes is patience to end your day on the upside. We will definitely rent here again.

We’d booked a pontoon day for May but opted to use their very easy Let It Ride option when the the weather was bad. Fast forward to August, Friday the 13th and we couldn’t have had a better day! The boat was in good shape and ran great. The deckhands were very helpful and pleasant and everything was perfect! We would definitely book with Gilligan’s Boats again!

Decided last minute after the Rugged Maniac to rent a boat and it was the best decision! Dock employees were very friendly, great value for the price, and the lake was gorgeous. Will definitely be back!

True they don't answer the phone , don't they know its easy to find good help now a days lol. Especially out in the middle of no where Maybe that's why the run it online and true they do use cinder blocks for an Anchor's but seeing how three boats where missing the anchor when we returned to the dock I realized, how nice they didn't get charged 300 to replace a real one because they drank to much and forgot to pull it up . I had a great day in my $125 pontoon. I spent 12 hours on the water with no problem. Also I didn't have to pay for my reservation until a day before so if you don't know its going g to rain. Great experience. We rented 72E, which had a slide, plenty of seating, a sun deck, and a retractable awning. We had an all around great day. The engine was sound, the boat was clean and the lake was extremely clean.

Customer service was phenomenal. They really want you to use their website for scheduling and sometimes won't/can't answer the phone depending on volume of calls and customers.

At the end of our day, I dropped my keys in the water as I left the dock. The owner immediately dropped what he was doing, jumped in, and recovered the keys. These people will go out of their way to ensure you have a positive experience.

I'm not sure why others had bad experiences, because me and my friends had an awesome time thanks to Gilligan's!! My online reservation didn't do through so we walked up and rented a boat that day on the spot. My friends came from 2.5 hours away with no guarantees we would even get on the lake. Not only were they prompt with getting us on the water, but they were as friendly as it gets! He gave us until civil twilight which was nice because we were already running late. At one point our boat did have a mechanical malfunction, but hey, it happens sometimes. We just chilled in a cove until the owner came and fixed us up. He was apologetic and got us right back on the water. Couldn't have asked for a better day! We will certainly be back quite a bit this summer! Don't hesitate to rent a boat and get yourself on this lake, you won't regret it!

Amazing experience! Rented two kayaks and had the best time. Owner gave us an extra hour since we decided to unload and load the kayaks ourselves (boyfriend has a truck big enough to fit them). Very informative on where to go, lake was beautiful. We filled out everything online before hand and just headed over and everything was ready. We will for sure be back for kayaks and are wanting to rent a boat.

We rented a fishing pontoon May 13-15 so we had it over 48 hours.Not only did it run flawlessly, I was impressed it came with double batteries for the outboard and the trolling motor. I have rented boats from others and they just were not as well thought out. However, the service exceeded the boat, and not just for myself. I watched as an elderly gentleman struggled with his boat and the attendant never lost his cool, but just continued giving him polite advice and support. We are already planning another trip back to Gilligan's Boats

I have rented from them several times. Every time was a fun day for the family. The staff have always been professional and courteous. Have pontoon rental coming up soon. More good times. Thanks everyone at Gilligan's.

we had a last minute group decision to head out on patoka lake, not sure if we would be able to get a boat from the dock, but the staff was very helpful and walked us through the whole process easily! we ended up getting boat 11 for some fun in the sun! what a FANTASTIC boat!!! It was fast enough for tubing with the kids but also great for enjoying all the lake has to offer!! WONDERFUL WONDERFUL experience and easy to do all in one place! THANK YOU GILLIGANS!!!

This is a great business to deal with. The boats were great, plenty of room for a large or small group, having a large fleet of boats. Plenty of shade available on the boats for the fair skinned people in our group...as well as kept us dry during a few rain showers. Very easy to get back into the dock after a wonderful day on the water. The staff was incredibly helpful and had great customer service. We would happily go back to Gilligan's.

We have been dealing with Gilligan's Boats for at least ten years now. We have had nothing but pleasant experiences dealing with both him and his employees. He has gone out of his way to help us several times. He has given us rafts to use with our boat a couple of times at no charge when we brought guests. I can honestly say that the owner has always taken very good care of us and we will continue to go to his business in the future.

Rented some kayaks for 4 hours and had a great time! The rental process is very fast, quick, and easy. The workers are very helpful and answer any questions you may have. I will definitely rent from Gilligan's boats again when I'm in the area!

I made a boat reservation 3 weeks in advance of our 2 day fishing trip and everything went perfectly. We had great weather and "Gilligan's Boats" people were personable, professional, and very helpful. Our boat was ready and waiting, and performed without fail. My 2 sons and I had a great time catching about 40 stripers! I would use Gilligan's Boats again and certainly recommend them.

My own fault for not planning ahead and reserving boat sooner, bought bait went fishing. Love the lake, second time I called ahead we got party pontoon with slide, $175!!! Gas was included, we got lost returning to dock, young man came to rescue us, very friendly will be back.

We had a wonderful experience with Gilligan's Boats. Friendly and helpful is how I would describe the person we interacted with. The boat was clean, well-maintained and dependable. We will be back. Thanks for making it possible for my family to have a wonderful day on the lake.

Friendly staff. Affordable prices. I really appreciate their method of communicating via text. That was very useful with having limited cellular connection on the lake. The pontoon we had was decently taken care of for being as old as it was. We had no issues at all.

Have used Gilligan's several times for family outings to Patoka lake. We have had a blast everytine, and not had trouble with any of the boats we have rented. The staff also took the time on our first trip to ensire we knew how to manuever and steer. Will definitely rent from them again.

I have been a Yacht member for several years . Kerry and his crew provides an incredible service. I always come away with my heart full from being out on the lake. The crew members are always courteous and respectful which makes the experience even more fulfilling. This keeps me coming back!!!

Awesome company!!! Will always use them. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Answered all of my questions. We ended up getting stuck in a freak storm in the lake and got lost. And they came and safely guided us back. If it wasn't for them we would have been stuck on the lake over night. So I highly highly recommend them!!!
