This repair service is top notch. My vintage Marantz receiver gave Jim fits,with a lot of issues, his tenacity, expertise and patience brought my unit back to life, I am grateful!!!!!!

Jim is a great technician, got my Pioneer sx 1250 which had a few issues up and running and had it back in ample time. If you have vintage gear that needs repair Jim's your guy.

Jim is an old school, genuine, technical wizard when it comes to higher end audio equipment.
I had an old Marantz amp that had lots of sentimental value to me and I was very picky with who I wanted to have service it. Jim (owner/tech) came highly recommended and was super professional. I called him and he let me drop the unit off after hours the same day and was willing to work around my wacky schedule. He was very courteous and kept me informed along the way. His turn around was very quick and his pricing is extremely modest. I liked to think the unit sounded good before, but after Jim was done with it, its much better than i could have expected. If you have any audio equipment (with sentimental value in my case) that needs servicing, Jim is your guy. I am VERY happy with my experience and I know I will be working with him again really soon.

I took my favorite Technics turntable for repair. The turntable had stopped working. Jim took a look at it and gave it a thorough check-up repaired all the old parts in the inside, and with some magic had the turntable spinning again. When I brought the turntable home, I was amazed at the sound quality. 100 times better than before.

I just had my 1975 Tandberg TR-1040 Receiver repaired and restored here. It’s a prized possession of mine, which I had bought from my brother back in 1980. Jim did an amazing job! Truly exceptional work. The unit has essentially been restored to like-new condition. Couldn’t be happier with the results, and the workmanship. Five stars all the way.

Fantastic service and work!! Had little rattling in my late eighties 4 foot Kenwood cabinet speakers...of course especially at higher volumes. Jim(technition) looked at them then communicated with me that same day and said he found the most likely culprit. He reglued loose cone cup and the inside and outside of both rear power joints and cabbs!!!! Problem solved! Rattle....Gone!!!!!! Along with my turntable adjustments and it's own isolation....my speakers are pumping beautiful accurate music again and I could even push my volume levels like never before! Especially my metal lps!! Jim took three days (glue needed at least 24hr dry time) and communicated throughout plus asked in the end how the speakers sounded!! Highly recommend. Give him heads up when you are stopping by. He again communicates very well. Any audio issues I may have I shall bring them to him!!!!!🤘

I have an old (65) turntable that needed the capacitors replaced, he replaced them with a quick turnaround and a very fair price. Very knowledgeable.

Also: google maps takes you to the lake with this address, he is right across from the high school. I recommend calling ahead to give him a heads up.

This guy is a magician, got what I wanted for a cartridge out of the country when I couldn't get it here. My Dual Turntable sounds better than ever listening to my Maiden. Up to the IRONS TO THIS MAN. Will never go anywhere else to get anything fixed. Many thanks!!!!!!!!!

Turn around time was exactly as expected, Fantastic work done every time. Very Very Honest. Highly recommend this service. Price is very reasonable.

Overall, a nice guy, but we can not recommend for vintage electronic repair. After driving an hour each way, coming back twice, and then waiting for over 6 months and spending over $400 the 2 vintage amplifiers are still not working. He returned the service manuals I gave him and said he did not need them. How can you repair these units without schematics? After waiting 6 months and spending $400 we still have 2 amplifiers that do not work. We recommend, before paying, have him test the units with you to see that everything works properly.
