Dr. Beth Hirsch is a one of a kind, probably once in a lifetime type of veterinarian. A beautiful, kind, compassionate human being. In her care, animals are safe, of that I am sure. If you want a thorough, diligent, intelligent and empathic vet, she is the epitome of those traits. When she has seen my animals, I experienced magic with how she connects with them and nothing makes me happier than knowing they are not only patients to her, but whole beings that deserve true care. Dr. Hirsch listens, analyzes and presents multiple avenues to diagnose as well as multiple means of treatment. She is honest and trustworthy. I will forever be thankful to her for educating me, caring for my girls, caring about my concerns and always going above and beyond. We love you Dr Hirsch, always :)

Dr. Beth Hirsch is one of the best!!!! If i could give 10 stars I would!!! She really cares about the pets she treats and doesn't just prescribe over-priced drugs to make the pain; she gets to the root cause and eliminates the problem!

My 2 dogs have been seeing Dr. Hirsch for almost 4 years and in that time I have ALWAYS had a great experience! She is professional, yet approachable and does NOT mind when you ask questions like other vets do. She explains options, takes the time to clearly identify issues, and offers treatments in order of priority...

Her rates are no higher than traditional vets!

If you are considering Dr. Hirsch as your vet, I would tell you NOT TO WAIT another second! Call and schedule your visit with her, and expect a thorough exam EACH and EVERY time you see her. Your initial visit will be an extensive one where she will spend most of her time on the floor with your pet(s). Our initial visit with both of our dogs was 3 hours; all of which SHE was in the room, hands on.

The role of the vet tech is just that, a tech who records vitals at the beginning of the visit and is with Dr. Hirsch during the entire exam.

Dr. Hirsch has been taking wonderful care of our dog, Abby, for the past 5 years. Abby is always excited to see Dr. Hirsch and loves her monthly chiropractic adjustments! Dr. Hirsch is very thorough, and always takes her time to look at issues from every possible angle. Because of her attention to detail, she has helped Abby get through several serious health issues. In addition, Dr. Hirsch’s passion for holistic health has allowed Abby’s treatment to include supplements and minimal medication. Dr. Hirsch answers all of our questions at the visit, and she’s also accessible by email as well, should something come up. Abby’s labwork results are always emailed to us with a detailed interpretation of what’s going on, and proposed treatment plan options for any issues shown in lab results. We truly appreciate everything Dr. Hirsch has done for us!

We haven't been to Riverdale Integrative Vet Care for too long but Dr. Hirsch has been taking care of our 2 cats and 1 dog for over 2 years now and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for having Dr. Hirsch as our vet. She always answers ALL of our questions during and even after our visit. That's maybe why the wait time can be slightly longer. But the wait is totally worth it. She never made us feel rushed during our appointment. In case of emergencies, she would find ways to squeeze us in despite of her packed schedule. She explains every single item on a lab test with us through emails. There was even one time she walked us through our pup's lab result 2 days after she did a surgery! Dr. Hirsch also provides us with all possible treatment options for us to consider and help us weigh the pros and cons of each one. Our pup would never become so healthy and active without her care. Dr. Hirsch should definitely be your go-to vet!!

I can not say enough good things about Dr Hirsch. I have a German Shepherd who was diagnosed with idiopathic seizures that we unfortunately have not been able to control . The answer from Western medicine was always more medication which I was not comfortable with. A friend recommended Dr Hirsch. I love Dr Hirsch's approach which combines Western and alternative approaches including acupuncture, chiropractic and nutrition. She works to find the cause versus just treating the symptoms. She thinks outside the box when performing diagnostic testing to formulate a carefully thought out individualized treatment plan. She is easy to talk to regarding concerns and is happy to explain test results and treatment plans. I have had 3-4 dogs at a time for the last 20 years and have been to many clinics over the years but I have never had such thoughtful, thorough exams or treatment as I have had with Dr Hirsch. I am so pleased with the care Dr Hirsch has given Ari that I am now bring 2 of my other dogs to see her as well despite the clinic being an hour away

Dr. Hirsch and her team are fantastic. Dr. Hirsch has always been there for our dogs, explaining in detail the plan to help them and having the patience in treating them and not just giving them pills for a quick fix. When we lost our last dog Dr. Hirsch showed compassion and was there for us the whole time. I cannot say enough about Dr. Hirsch and that it why we drive an hour to see her

Dr. Hirsch of Riverdale Integrative Veterinary Hospital has done so many wonderful things for my 3 cats. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, she cares about all my cats and I am so very lucky to have her as their vet. I have recommended her to many people and their fur babies are reaping the rewards. Dr. Hirsch is just the best holistic veterinarian!!! It’s nearly impossible to put into words how much respect and admiration I have for Dr. Hirsch. We’re so grateful to have found her five years ago at her previous practice, and gladly followed her to Riverdale this past year.

My standard has had some health things come up over the years and Dr. Hirsch has stopped at nothing to get to the bottom of things. You’ll never find another vet (and human) as generous with their time, extensive knowledge and world-class care and I truly believe that Melodi couldn’t be in better hands. Spending hours with us at times, responding to countless emails at all hours, she deeply cares for Mel (and me) like her own. It’s hard to remember how we managed before crossing paths with her. My only wish is that we would have found her sooner.

My labrador Chief has been in Dr. Hirsch's care for a few years. Dr. Hirsch is always very caring and thorough and she takes an individualized approach to treating each pet. Chief has had several health issues over the years and she always takes the time and effort to get to the root of the problem. She is exceptional in explaining everything very clearly and she answers all questions, too. I highly recommend Dr. Hirsch.

We were lucky enough to come across Dr Hirsch at her previous practice, when she moved across to Riverdale, there was no question that we would follow her. We would in fact follow her to the moon if that is where she went. Dr Hirsch, takes her time to listen to your EVERY concern, she leaves NO stone unturned. She is kind and caring! The wait times may sometimes be longer than other vets, but always remember it is always for a good reason, she is genuinely helping someone’s beloved fur family member and sometimes that may take longer than anticipated! Not only is she the most incredible diagnostic vet, she is intuitive and really feels the energy of your animal. Our dogs LOVE her, they are always excited to see her and be near here! We had been to soooo many doctors before coming to dr Hirsch with no real results for our babies. They are now healthy, their deficiencies are supported which gives us a piece of mind! I trust Dr Hirsch more than most human beings in this world! If you are lucky enough to get in with her you are truly coming into the presence of a mystical medicine woman!!!! You would be very very very lucky!

Dr. Hirsch has been treating 3 of our cats for over 5 years. She is an amazing vet. She truly cares about her patients and spends time answering questions and listening to what I have to say as a pet parent. She is very knowledgeable about both holistic and western medicine and keeps up with the lastest developments.

We have been going to Dr. Beth Hirsch for over three years now. She is a combination of strong clinical diagnosis and in-depth knowledge of holistic medicine. And she is very thorough. She solved a health issue that our pup, Leo, had been suffering for a long time (that could not be resolved by many other vets we had seen). Dr. Hirsch solved the problem with a mix of chiropractic adjustments and holistic medicine. We love Dr. Hirsch (we drive over an hour - each way - to see her)!

Dr. Kuo is an amazing vet with incredible knowledge about traditional and western medicine. She spends a great deal of time with you listening and weighing out all options for treatment. For example, when she called me from overseas while on vacation. Now who does that!!! She has taken care of both of my cats. Go see Dr. Kuo, she is fantastic!!!

I want to especially thank Amanda who was there for me and my daughter during a very difficult and devastating sad time when our Nala died. I don't know how I made it through that tragedy. She by far is the best Vet Technician I have every been with and she goes above and beyond to help and answer patient questions and is incredibly compassionate. I don't know what I'd do without her. We are very grateful to have Dr Hirsch as our vet, She is wonderful. We met at her previous practice and followed her to RIVC. She gave excellent care to our elderly Chihuahua Peanut and our Pomchi Cricket and currently Juniper and Honey. She is very knowledgable, thorough, and never pushes you to do anything you are not comfortable with, but makes you aware of all the options available. I cant say enough about having an integrative vet care over a conventional vet. Her skills and expertise are tremendously valued.

I recently started going to Riverview, but Dr. Hirsch has been my dog Bodie’s vet for the last few years. She is kind, thorough, and truly looks to help every pet she treats. Bodie gets regular manual chiropractic treatments and has been recently treated for a pancreas issue. I appreciate how Dr. Hirsch worked to put Bodie on a supplement regimen to bring his pancreas enzymes down significantly. I also appreciate the time Dr Hirsch spends answering my questions and thinking through the best approach to my dog’s care. The overall staff at Riverview have been very helpful and friendly.

I can't say enough good things about Riverdale Integrative veterinary care!! Dr Hirsh is an exceptional veterinarian, whom I was referred to by a friend of mine, because of her unique an individualized care for her patients. My dog has a terminal cancer, and after seeing several oncologist and other veterinarians, I was at an absolute loss on how to care for my animal. Dr Hirsh was kind, compassionate and beyond thorough in evaluating everything my dog had been through and how to proceed forward. I have received extensive time when I am there for my veterinary appointments and always feel that every question has been answered, and all of my concerns have been addressed before I leave the building. The staff has been beyond courteous and thorough. Always checking up the following day to see how my dog was doing and that all the medication's were given successfully, and my dog was doing well. I have already referred multiple patients to Dr Hirsh because I honestly do not think my dog would be still alive if she were not over seeing my dogs case. Veterinarians like these have to be cherished because right now, the veterinary community is overstaffed, overworked and underappreciated.

Gaby has been a client of Dr. Hirsch for several years now. Can't say enough about the time she puts into our care. From exam, to offering different modalities and follow ups she has been a godsend. Her staffs are caring and great at get back with answers to our questions! Highly recommend Dr. Hirsch!

I have been seeing Dr.Hirsch since Zoe was just a few months old. She's cared for all of our dogs actually including my parents senior dogs. I've never met a more commited vet than Dr. Hirsch. When I say she goes ABOVE & BEYOND for your pet as if it were her own,
I mean it. Show me another vet that will send you lengthy emails with care instructions, follow ups and detailed lab explanations, squeezes you in for emergencies or time sensitive appts, stays late to help you, is very thorough with her visits and never rushes you. Our Zoe has had her number of issues and Dr. Hirsch has helped so much through acupuncture, a Chiro regimen and holistic medicine. She GENUINELY cares & you scored gold if you can get her as your doctor.

We have experienced nothing but wonderful things with Dr. Hirsch and the techs and employees of Riverdale Intergrative Veterinarian Care! My dog experienced a lot of anxiety at the previous vet, but has since blossomed and become completely comfortable with this vet office. Dr. Hirsch has been a wonderful advocate for Moxie Mae and had gone above and beyond for her. When Moxie Mae had bad kennel cough, Dr. Hirsch made room for us in the schedule so Moxie Mae could get the medicine and help she needed. She has helped Moxie Mae through all of her GI issues, chiropractic, behavioral issues and even her diet. She is thorough, kind, generous and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Hirsch listens to all the problems I have with Moxie Mae and really takes the time to think of all possibilities and avenues we can take to tackle the illness or problem. She draws on her wealth of knowledge and has never led us astray. I have never met a vet who was more knowledgeable and caring for her patients (and their humans) as Dr. Hirsch is. I would recommend her a hundred times over. If it wasn’t for Dr. Hirsch and the staff at RIVC, I don’t think Moxie Mae would be as excited to go the vet as she is now. She pulls me in the door and jumps up and down ecstatic to see Dr. Hirsch when we go for appointments. If I could I would give Dr. Hirsch and the office 6 out of 5 stars! They have changed Moxie Mae’s life for the better. She is a happy and healthy girl all due to them! I can’t thank them enough!
